Malvin once again turned too see what had caused someone to talk loud enough for everyone to hear. But this time he was happy to hear what the other had to say. He walked over to the spot that was indicated and took a look around. Seeing nothing, he looked at Mecy confused. “What makes you so sure that this is the way? I don’t see anything to suggest that our man went this was."
Paushlatt chuckled darkly to himself. He was sick of this slow pace, as patient a person as he was. he re-attached his arm, rolled it in its socket to get it back into place, and stepped up next to Mecy, putting his normal right arm onto his shoulder. he got it right off... he said, chuckling darkly again. maybe they will find where he is... he said, looking off into space for a moment.
My nose told me so. Mecy joked then added more seriously, This, he held up a little vial full of a finely ground powder for them to see, is Julgiahzdn. Its a spice that you can add to drinks and foods to make them more flavorful. Its smell is that of a Terran orange and mint together. He smiled I don't know about you but i'm pretty sure plants dont grind and vial themselves and then toss themselves off the road. Its to my understanding that our missing scientist went off alone and hasn't been seen since. We can only carry so much food by our lonesome so I'm guessing that our man went this way and lost this here. Mecy gestured to the tangle of plants and shrugged off Paush's arm before leaping amongst them, as if to lead the way then paused gingerly in mid-step. Glancing at the others with a silly smile on his face he continued, Well, that and this page of a journal over here, but I smelt the vial first.
Malvin brows furrowed in thought and mild anger, watching as Mecy explained what he had found. “No, I guess they don’t." He said in only reply through pursed lips to the comment about plants grinning themselves. Malvin had a very small tolerance for anyone who acted with a “smart" attitude around him. “Well hand over the vial then, I need to bag it. I’m sure the lap will find it most interesting. And read off the journal page, or else hand it over, I can read it. It may give us some clue to where he was going." Malvin was starting to feel as if they were wasting time here. But he wasn’t a master in philosophy for nothing. “Since your nose seems so keen so may as well lead us on. The letter can be read as we move." He had to stop himself from saying that he wanted to get this finished with as fast as he could so he could head home but knew it would most likely drop the moral of the group. Any Philosophizer could think that out, the femme with the flaming arms seemed to distract them enough at the moment.
Hanging around near the back of the group, Sylverstryx didn't get a clear view of the vial. Flicking his ears in a slightly annoyed manner, he trudged on after Malvin as they set off once again, following this new lead. His pale lavender eyes scanned the ground, looking for clues. A few times he thought he might have found tracks, but closer scrutiny reveiling that they were left by one of the 'dragons moving a head of him. Dang it, did anyone here care that they might be trampling evidence? Sniffing, he raised his head and focused on the back of the nearest dragon, letting his nose and eyes scan the trail a head.
