Chiara felt so bad at that moment she just wanted to go sit down with her and cry too. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"No I'm sorry, I just.. God. I'm so sorry." </span>She jumped up after her, going to kneel down on the ground next to her. All she wanted to do was be close to some one again, it felt nice, it was as if she had forgotten how it felt. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"It's just.. I have a boyfriend.. I just felt guilty. My intention wasn't to lead you on.. But I ended up doing that anyways. I feel so bad, I'm so sorry."</span> She placed her hand gently on Naleth's shoulder, trying to be comforting yet wanting some support as well. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"I'll walk you back to your dorm if you want, I'm so sorry for what happened."</span>
Naleth sobbed quietly, she pushed off the floor to get up, useing Chiara for balance. "Its ok,"She sobbed again,"I understand." She balanced on her one foot shakily, she was unable to concentrate on anything at the moment. She kept her head down, embarrased and sad. She looked down at her foot, noticing that there was something not right about it. Then she remembered her scales had switched to black, she looked at Chiara with wide eyes, amazed she hadn't said anything about it.
Chiara noticed the different color of her fur and almost jumped back a step. So there was something to being covered up with the blanket.. She peered intently at it for a little while before looking back towards Naleth's face. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Erm.. What happened there?"</span> After a few of her interesting 'endeavors' she had the tendency to look more freaked out than she actually was. Just her normal reflex. Thinking of something quickly, she hopped off into her bedroom and came out with a rolling spinny chair, which obviously, was the most entertaining toy in the dorm. What else could be more amusing then making yourself so sick that you wanted to puke? Chiara pushed the chair over to Naleth, motioning her to sit on it. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Here, sit on this and I'll push you back. It's really fun."</span> She couldn't help but laugh. The first time she got it, she accidentally fell off on the first spin. Over-eagerness never boded well with Chiara's ditzy tendencies.
Naleth was caught off gaurd when she left the room coming back with the spinny chair. She turned and sat on the chair softly, mostly when someone ever saw her change her colour they would scream and shout and book themself a room in the loony bin. She sobbed still, she wanted to just leave and try and forget anything had happened but she couldn't, not with her ankle. She just sat back into the chair moaning.
Chiara gently rested her hand on Naleth's shoulder, though not without some apprehension. She didn't want to lead her on, yet at the same time she wanted to try and comfort her.<span style='color:#3399FF'> "It's okay, I'll get you back and.." </span>She didn't know how to end that statement. What was going to happen after? Would they see each other again, were they going to have the lessons? Leaving her last words open, she simply walked over to the door and kept it open with her foot while she pushed Naleth through it. The door closed with a click behind them and she wondered which way to go. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Erm.. What room number you at?"</span>
Naleth's eyes went wide. She hadn't been up to her room in at least a few months, every night was spent "working". She looked up to chiara, unsure how to tell her this. "Ummm... I.. dont have one.." she said bluntly. She thought hard, trying to remember the number that she was in, but it wouldn't come to her. She didn't want to make chiara think she was doing this on purpose, she honestly couldn't remember.
Chiara blinked, not knowing what to say. It was pointless to go down the hall and ask if she recognized that door because they were all the same. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Okay.. Well.."</span> She could offer her to stay at her place, but it might be awkward. Mind you, she didn't have anywhere else to stay. Well even if she did, she wouldn't kick her out like that. Thinking about all this, she started to laugh. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"You're staying here then." </span>She ran towards her door and kept laughing, it was random yet fun. She did a quick break a few inches after they passed the door and then backed up slowly. Her tail slid up to turn the handle and she gently pushed the door open with her foot before pushing Naleth in. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Do you need some clothes to sleep in then?"</span>
Naleth smiled happily at chiara. "Clothes... uhhh..." A paw to her forehead in thought. "I guess I could use some..." The last few minutes had been very dramatic for her, from thinking she had found someone to crying on the floor to being pushed around in a chair. Lots of stuff that had never happened to her before. She stood up more balanced on her one foot. She looked at the floor and remembered her fur had changed, making a mental note to change it back the first chance she got. Holding onto the arm of the couch she gently set herself back down. "Thank you chiara, no ones ever been this nice to me..."
Chiara noticed Naleth still didn't reply to her question as to why she had a different colored pelt. For now, she supposed, it would be okay if she didn't know. Just in the future she would like to possibly find out. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Mm'kay well.. Gimme a sec, I'll be right back."</span> She paced slowly over to her bedroom and pulled out her drawer full of pjamas and the like. Half of the drawer was her undergarments, but she wasn't too worried. Calmly walking back out with the giant drawer in her arms, she gently placed it on the couch next to Naleth. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Choose your pick, and if it's too hard to walk ito the bathroom I'll go wait in the bedroom while you change out here. Okay?"</span> To Chiara, her dorm was obviously the safest place. It didn't occur to her that Naleth might not be as comfortable as her here. Chiara grabbed a pair of her black boxers that had a random swirly print over them and navy blue t-shirt. Before walking back into her bedroom, she leaned casually against her doorframe. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Got all you need hun?"</span>
Naleth glanced into the drawer. She turned away blushing, seeing Chiara's undies made her very uncomfortable. She spoke to chiara without looking at her,"Yeah I'll be fine." She reached with one paw and picked off a blackish pajama top and matching bottoms. She stood up and hopped to the bathroom, locking the door behind her and checking to make sure the lock stayed. She placed the tops on the counter, after slipping off her own she quickly slid the others on, always paranoid that someone was watching her. She repeated with the bottoms, haveing a little trouble at the ankle. She reached for the doorknob and remembered she nearly forgot to do something. Her scales flipped back to the white colour they were before. She unlocked the door, seeing if Chiara was already finished changeing.
Chiara noticed the uncomfortable look and simply shrugged, she had thought she would have seen that before. Or maybe it was just the fact that it was hers, who knew. Turning on her heel, she shut the door to her bedroom and moved to her bed quietly. She heard the faint click of the lock on the bathroom door and sighed, she could really be misleading sometimes. Sighing once again, she pulled off her shirt and moved to grab her pj t-shirt. She casually threw her jeans off into some desolate corner and slipped on her boxers with ease. She didn't have much else to do in her room so she sauntered out to se if Naleth was done. She went and jumped onto the couch, casually flipping the TV. on while waiting for her.
Naleth hopped out the bathroom door, lightly resting her foot on the ground each step. She sat gently on the couch next to chiara pulling the blanket over her. "Thanks." She said, her voice quiet and far away sounding. It felt very awkward in someone else's clothing. Not just cuase they were chiara's, just that they weren't hers. She shifted into a comfortable position, pushed into the couch with the blanket over her.
Chiara didn't exactly know what to do anymore, it was awkward, uncomfortable, and everything you can think of. She pushed some random buttons on the remote and it tuned into some cheesy station. A show much like today's CSI was on. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"So is there anything you want to watch.. ? Or do you just want to go to bed early?"</span> She would be disappointed if she chose the latter, but ultimately it was up to her. It clicked in her mind that Naleth was white again, she couldn't help but look her over. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"You seriously have to tell me how you do that."</span>
Naleth looked to chiara,"Oh, you mean my fur?" She looked around nervously before holding her hand out, the scales on it flipping over to black, for a split second the skin underneath showed. "Born with it, but you cant tell anyone, I use it for very special things." She looked at the tv."Do you have any movies to watch?" She continued the conversation like chiara didn't say anything at all. The scales flipped on her hand once again before she retreated back under the blanket.
Chiara was getting frustrated now, she could understand why Naleth would be upset, but she didn't have to be so cold... Grumbling something to herself, she simply picked the box up that she had left on the ground and passed it over to Naleth. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Take what you want, I think I'm going to head off to bed, it's late."</span> It wasn't that she was tired, just frustrated that for once it wasn't her that was giving the cold shoulder. It was an odd feeling to say the least. Getting up slowly, she shuffled her feet over towards her bedroom. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"'Night then."</span> Glancing at Naleth one more time before she walked into her room and shut the door.
Naleth didn't realise that she was giving Chiara the cold shoulder, she was just nervous. Alot of things she had said that night would of been used against if it was anyone else she was talking too. But now she got this feeling that she was really ticking off Chiara, "Good night." She called back. She curled up on the couch and tried to figure out what happened. After a while all she knew was that tomorrow morning she had to make it up to Chiara, somehow. Thinking this slowly started to drift off to sleep.
Chiara nodded as she heard Naleth's words and sat quietly on her bed. She put a hand up to her face and held it to her forehead. It was a good thing she brought Temyc up, she wouldn't want to hurt him despite what he had done to her. Twice she had been hurt the same way, twice she didn't want to wake up the next morning. Sighing lightly, she slipped under the covers and rested her head on the fluffy pillow. Tomorrow would hopefully be a better day.
A spark shot through Naleth as she came up with the perfect idea. She jumped up, glanceing around she *quietly as she could* she started hopping to the door. Turning the knob slowly, inching the door open. She peered down the hallway, and with one glance back inside she dissapeared outside, the door closeing and a soft click as it latched.
Chiara yawned as she threw the sheets off of her and then pulled herself from her bed. She couldn't be asked to make her bed this morning so the covers just lay untidy. Thinking it might be best to get dressed, she walked slowly over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of black jeans and a navy blue tank top. It wasn't anything too fancy, and it was something she'd be able to bum around in today. Stretching on final time, she walked from her room and looked immediately at the couch. She had forgotten Naleth stayed the night. Assuming her eyes hadn't adjusted and she just simply couldn't see her, she moved closer. Where was she... ? <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Naleth?" </span>
Naleth had her ear pressed to the door, she could hear movement, then she heard her name called. She stood outside of her room with a beautifully made wood coffee table. She had found her caarpenter friend who was busy on a different project in the middle of the night, she stayed up with them for most of the night helping him make it. While he was doing a coat of paint she had went and lied down on a bed and mattress that he had made. For a little nap, which turned into sleep. She awoke an hour later and when she realised what time it was she quickly grabbed it and hauled it downstairs one floor. She placed it up against the wall, and listened at the door.
