Sephiroth's heart gave a pang as Serran began to fly around like a hummingbird, appearing to be floating through the sky. Her eyes narrowed slightly, remembering too well when her own feathered appendages had been mangled and attacked, leaving her with one single span. She figured that this stranger was rather cocky, to show off his flying abilites when one of the ones in front of him was obviously hindered in her akin abilities. Seth's ears flattened, but she didn't speak, quite simply still hurt from the memories of her history. Not that she would speak of it now, not in the midst of this "Icelandic Lord." What was Iceland, anyways?
Serran chuckled at the 'dragon's comical look, He landed next to the male. "I just be on one of my wonderings" replied Serran. He glanced at the sword "Aye,that be one mean lookin' fella" He looked at all the details on the sword and wished to have it as his own. " where did ye get it?" He asked. His expression became dark and surly as he continued to view the sword. He looked at his puny dagger and then back at the beautiful sword that kept attracting his eyes. His glowed blue let again as he took flight. "maybe i be takin' this sword as my own" he wondered, as he rose to an great height only viewable as an tiny dot. Then without warning, he burst into flames as he drove at the male. It was plain his intentions was to murder the male and obtain the sword. He became an roaring fireball that kept increasing its size, eventually he went past his limits and now looked like an flaming comet that was headed for an explosive encounter with the male 'dragon.
Celuvix didn't like the sound of that. To be certain, the Pendragon wasn't after direction to the local ice cream shop. After all, who would be in the frozen nothingness? Celuvix wasn't stupid enough to be oblivious to what Serran as doing. This time, instead of just looking at what Serran was trying to accomplish, Celuvix put his hand on the edge of the shake. He closed his eyes, pulling the blade out fluidly, sparkling with a slight blue light. The boy closed his eyes and jumped backwards, the sash of his robe flailing as he maneuvered from Serran's range of impact. "I say! What may I ask are you getting at?!" The Ice Fang itself crusted over with a shell of ice, slightly covering his left hand with frost. At any moment, Celuvix had a plan of action in mind. Still...I'm hungry!
At the moment when Serran disappeared into the wide blue yonder she was alert, eyes glowing an eerie black and an onyx aura beginning to incase her alabaster form. Sephiroth sneered at the pendragon as he began to fall, glowing red with burning fire as he pummeled towards the other male. She jerked her head to the side, watching his descent in the uppermost corner of her left eye. He soon approached closer, but the other simply sidestepped, utterly calm. Seth meanwhile, continued to bide her telekinetic energy, the tattoo upon her flank boiling a menacing jet, glancing at Celuvix. He seemed slightly too calm, considering his age in comparison to the divebombing "Lord."
Serran uttered a low pitched roar, as he plummeted into the snowy ground. "BOOM! SKARSHHhhhhhhhh!" He exploded with such force that his blast radius extended for more then a few miles. Wildlife ran in terror for their life before the fire-wall could consume them and turn them into mere ashes. Birds fluttered in such numbers that the sky was covered with birds that it almost seemed like darkness. There was many dead animals, the only survivors for a few miles where the blackened bones and an ashes floating in the wind that echoed the impact. In the middle of it all was an flaming figure that had its fire claws out and its fire-tail lashing out in fury. It was no longer recognasable as the coy 'dragon. It was now an furious fire-elemental that Serran had transformed into in the rare moments when he became truly mad.
The boy stabbed his sword into the ground, jabbing its blade into the ground as deeply as it could sink. Â The air pressure drop before the large blast sent his hair flying. Â In the next instant, the blast was to blaze across his body. Â As the force became more and more devastating, Celuvix ran his fingers down the side of his blade. Â Only touching it in certain areas over the short amount of time, he waited for the blade to glow with a blue aura, its inner machinery igniting the life inside. Â Lines of blue circuitry ran down the side of the blade before disappearing, giving the once transparent blade a very solid shade of blue. Â The force of the blast, which before was burning at the little bit of Celuvix's fur and his skin, parted slightly in the ice elemental barrier as Celuvix stayed behind it, covering his face with his arm and looking past it. "What is he doing now? Â Is something wrong?" As the blast died away, Celuvix stood up with the Ice Fang in his arm, swiping it to both sides. Â Small lines of ice formed over the melted snow, and the internal clock of the Ice Fang kept a steady pulse inside. Â The boy only stared at the mass of flaming claws, disturbed yet curious at the hellish creature. Â Celuvix figured out that this wasn't something to end peacefully. Â He extended his foot slightly, resting his heel on the ground, and ran his two fingers on his right hand down to the tip of the blade.
OOC — Sorry for the wait, my computer adapter was broken. x_X;;;; Excuse the quality, please. BIC — Seth's eyes narrowed, and she glanced at Celuvix. "Not sure." Her gaze pierced the hellish-looking pendragon's visage as she glared at him, what was up? He simply exploded after obviously wanting possession of the icy male's weapon, and seemed to have no intentions of stopping. Sephiroth's wing twitched.
Serran struggled to control this darker side of his nature as tried to win control back over himself. His dark side let out an blast of flame in anger that the two 'dragons had survived this hellish attack then suddenly it was plagued by attacks in the mind that made it double over in agony as its tail lashed out until it slowly stopped for the fire-elemental was rolling about in the melted snow that rapidly became heated water as the elemental creature clutched its head in agony as the true Serran launched offensive attacks that renewed itself yet again. "HeLp Me" the creature wailed in agony as slowly Serran gained control over this pitiful nature of his. The creature was in the foetus position as it wailed in agony and made pitiful cries of help. It was too late as Serran gained back his control of the mind as his form blackened and turned to ice-blue as he rose shaking himself of the gathered ash in his spiky fur. "sorry about that, its hard to explain" he growled as he gazed at the 'dragons face as he waited for an response for his deadly display of anger and control.
Outstanding. Celuvix contained statuesque in he melted and iced over snow, still lost about the previous outburst. I was abated just as quickly, changing the situation far too much for the boy to want to comprehend. Celuvix stood with the Ice Fang pointing towards Serran, the blade pulsing with a pulsating white light amongst the ice encasing. His body was giving off a slight distortion of the air, almost like a heat wave, but caused by a frigid discharge of cold air from the Ice Fang. He blinked twice, mouth open slightly, and turned his head to the side. "So...you're alright now?" He slid two claw fingers down the side of his blade while staring at Serran, still wary of the Pendragon and puzzled. The ice shot down onto the melted snow, solid freezing it as the build up from his Ice Fang slid off. The weapon lost power after he twisted the hilt, glittering with small circuitry inside before becoming a dead, ice-like blade again. Letting the blade swing down at his side, Celuvix stood up right amidst his small ice panel, appearing bitterly cold and frostbitten.
Serran folded his arms across his chest which was muscly enough for him. He flicked off an spiky strang of hair that fell across his eye obstructing his sight. "yes iam ok" he said in an dangerous tone of voice as he gazed past the male 'dragon to stare at the first drop snow. He let himself breath as he turned his paws into an fist and suddenly leaped into the air as he glowered an deep dark blue. " i must go if iam gonna do that again while in your presence" He stared at the blade and shook his head as if to rid himself of an thought. He knew for an fact that the blade will plague his dreams till he had it in his posseson. For now he will leave and perhaps one day meet this 'dragon again. The next time he will allow his darker nature to destroy the 'dragon. Serran was carefully controlling his emotions. since when did my darker nature became so strong he muttered in anger as he floated next to the female 'dragon. Then soon he had disappeared leaving behind him an mystery that would plague many.
Celuvix scraped the edge of the blade against his scabbard, chipping ice onto the ground as sparks would from flint. The blade encased itself cleanly, shifting like clockwork into the scabbard, releasing a wisp of steam from the bottom. Sighing quietly, Celuvix fell down to all fours with the blade hanging on his side, gradually changing back into his birth form. The maw extended after growing spots of avure fur with white at the very tip of his nose. CeluvixÂ’s already nearly eyes became more deep-set and sly, changing to silver ovals against his face. The already apparent tail lashed out slightly, increasing in flame with the effort given from the young Pendragon. "That was past bizarre. Far...past bizarre." Celuvix rested on his hind legs, propping himself u on his forelegs and glancing towards Seth. He was only larger than a pup, a young Pendragon that looked more like an azure and white plushie than an actual menacing fox. He lifted a paw carefully, glancing at the still lukewarm water caused by Serran, then back at Seth. "Do you know him?"
"Not in the least," she muttered darkly, in her gloomy yet musical voice, a strange combination of goth and classical. All that mattered was that he was gone, however, the only thing truly worthy of a smile. Not that Sephiroth smiled, she preferred to protray her emotions through song than actions or words. Absently nibbling on a talon, she recently realized just how small the male next to her was as he returned to his normal state. Also reflecting on the fact that that he didn't even know her name, Seth twitched her nose. "I'm Lady Sephiroth, name me what you please. Though something relative would be best. Either way, a pleasure," Seth added thoughtfully, extending her left foreleg.
The boy got down on one knee with his slightly modified, more or less human form and shook Seth's paw slightly, though his rough, gloved hands were a bit larger and baggy on his smaller hands. "Then I'll call you Lady Sephiroth! Â My name is Celuvix Novox, Junior Machina outfitter. Â I'm on my way to a dock to get to the Academy, but I don't quite know where to go. Â Been wandering around for weeks, and I ended up here. Â What brings you here?" Finally, the outburst of Machina pulsated Ice energy was dying down from Celuvix's body. His skin gained more warmth in color and his skin wasn't as thickened. His longer strands of hair flailed slightly, gaining more color. FInally, the Ice fang fluttered with a black glow, dying down in its own rest mode. The boy was obviously an engineer of sorts, but wasn't exactly an expert.
Sephiroth accepted the shake, and a grim smile creept up the edges of her snout as he spoke. The flame upon her tail flickered calmly as her long, serpentine tail rhythmically snapped back and forth silently. Every few moments a bright white spark would sizzle quietly before fading away, as if a sparkler was lodged in her Fronimian energy source. Seth's pupil-less eyes focused calmly on Celuvix and carried little emotion, but her words had an air of mysterious, whispering quality. "Ah, that's not a problem. There's probably a portal around here somewhere, if one looks hard enough. Sometimes one can sense the magic." The smile faded to a more amiable one, as she grew warmer with her new companion at the the moment. The Master's feathers ruffled as she considered her next phrase. "Hard to say.. I myself study the wonders of song, or persay, pass it on to others. I suppose the utterly empty landscape beckoned me to fill it.. with music."
Interesting. She seemed to know where to go and didn't seem to be a person that would lead him in the wrong direction. That is, she didn't seem untrustworthy so far. If she wanted to do something it could have been done a lot earlier. Gently releasing Fronima from his body in order to pose a more familiar form, Celuvix molded into a more common form of Pendragon, appearing to be a young, barely older than a pup of a fox. Cold fur colored with one small tainted white spots amongst long, azure strands of fur. "If you could show me how to get there, I'd be quite grateful." He didn't want to go across the sea if he didn't have to, of course. To be more specific, he wanted to learn with a hunger almost as much as life itself.
Sephiroth returned the request with a smile, nodding her head gently and extending her right and only wing. Pointing it in a compass-read direction, she explained rather calmly. "South-east for a mile or two; you should reach a portal there, at the end of a small ridge. It's below sea level, so we can't see it from here."
((I'll be picking things up now.)) "Would you mind leading the way? If I try to make it on my own I'll definitely get lost. That, or run into more strange flaming people..." He cut himself short, immediately getting depressed upon a realization that severely bludgeoned his spirits. His "breakfast" was on the ground, in the same shape but charred. It wasn't the only problem he had. The commotion called attention to one of the reasons Celuvix was lost. In an almost successful effort to throw off those who followed him, the peculiar Serran character brought Celuvix's presence back into plain sight. There weren't far away, but hid themselves in different areas of the snowy fields as to be covered from Celuvix's watch.
"So be it," Seth replied with a small chuckle, stretching her wing and catching a brisk breeze within its depths. The feathers filtered the wind, creating a serene whistling sound as the air refracted through the delicate feather membranes. Leading him on, the two traversed through the snow fields silently and swiftly.
A much better situation than he was in earlier to be sure. Celuvix's fortune turned for the better now that he had a solid way of getting away from his icy bindings, which would lead him into a new world of diversity and everlasting adventure. The small Pendragon followed Seth, keeping his belongings on his back with the blade slightly dragging in the snow. His paw bracelets dangled with every trot, moving in circles from the jolting motions and showing the few red decorations on its broad side. The feeling he was getting earlier got stronger, but he again dismissed it as being nervous, possible because he was so close to ending the first part of his journey. Quite to the contrary, he had another obstacle to pass, one that would follow him throughout life. The once clear yet stagnant winter sky slowly bled gray. Clouds of silver and dark impression trailed across the skyline, slowly growing overhead with looming shadows spilling on the ground. The clouds were thunderheads, large and menacing, their bulk glowing incrementally from the thunder that raged from cloud to cloud. A few jagged lightning bolts, ranging from blue to yellow and red dancing through the sky touched the ground, striking the bare snowfields. Celuvix stopped at the sudden change of weather, rearing back slightly with his eyes concentrated on the thunderhead. It wasn't a natural born cloud, no. The smell of iodine and the atmospheric pressure changed far too quickly, as if he took a step from clear to stormy for no reason. Like a wide carried moan, an eruption of agony and fear echoed inside the clouds. The clouds parted near the center slightly, releasing what seemed to be a ivory spine of sorts. It rose slowly from the clouds, giving way to a Draconic beak and large, yellow eyes. The shape opened its mouth with five lashing, black tongues and the same demonic and angelic clash of noise. Before the full head emerged, the complete body of the beast whipped from the clouds and bolted down to the ground in front of Celuvix and Seth, screeching with a heavy rain of sound. The beast was of sleek build and covered in white with a black, armored belly. Two wings flattened against its side held an array of black horns, each of them connected at the bone as maneuverable spikes. The long tail lashed behind, slightly spiked with the same black horns as its tail. Celuvix's eyes opened a bit wider, staring directly at the oncoming monstrosity.
