For just a moment, as the song’s final bass line dissipated in the midst of crowd, Sah`Dja floated along in its wake, her arms held high, fingers faintly clenched a breath behind her head. She had lost herself to its power, plunged fully into the throbbing bass borne oblivion. This is bliss. Emerald eyes cracked to the idling of bodies, a dreamer just beginning to wake. The commanding shouts ripping through her ears, the headaches, the sleepless nights, and every dead end – none of it registered as even the merest wisp of memory. Only the music, the beat, and the shimmer of hot forms beneath vibrant light seemed to exist. The speakers came alive, a promised return to the high. Sah`Dja stepped to dive into the new beat, her eyes shot wide, and a whisper danced off her lips, “What in all nineteen hells is this?" Bubblegum pop, apparently, and something different enough that her old groove just didn’t fit. A slightly exasperated sigh fell from her chest, followed closely by the ghost of a grin and a challenging slant to her eyes. The golden thill glanced around as she took measure of the new turn of music. Not so bad, she’d learned ballroom styles to odder tempos than this. An arden of verdant fur and surprisingly sexy jeans finally caught her eye. Whatever he was doing, it was to the beat, and that provocative swing of the hip clenched it. She slipped across the dance floor and scooted up to his side in one gliding stride. All those nights within the Uritt’s rec room where she had danced to the old and ancient finally paid off. Her pickup to the tempo was flawless, if the initial emulation to his groove came out rough. Sah`Dja slipped into her own shade of Radin’s dance as the song progressed, with a little more sway of the thighs and the odd, daring fade towards the arden she paid homage to. She kept careful watch of him from the corner of her eye, and now and again, caught a familiar turn that let her shift into a near perfect duplication of his steps, if only for a few. Betting odds could be placed that he wouldn’t even notice if half the ‘dragons surrounding her were any indication, but if the dice rolled the other way, Sah`Dja desperately hoped he wouldn’t mind. The smile on her muzzle was clear: she was having way too much fun.
Name;Joo-eun fai Age; 16 Joo-eun slid past Kael and glided into the Panic Room with a big crowd. Muttering things under her breath that sounded like; Damn stalking bum. Oh how he creeped her out...It's pathetic really, that the relationship has been over for atleast a year now...and now he's following her...or trying to...and then he decided that she was too stupid to realize it or something. Grumbling she took a seat in a more emptier area after getting a small drink. CLANG, her head fell down upon the table, if people were staring at her who cared, it's not like anyone could hear it over the music anyways. With her head still...well "attached" to the table she drifted off into her own thoughts, zoning out from the music, the people and well everything.
Cayson's heart fluttered as he watched Riot read over his note. What was she thinking? Could it be possible that he'd mistaken her signals entirely? That'd she'd only been kidding? Before this shadow of a doubt had ample time to creep into Cay's gut and begin to gnaw away at his insides, Riot flashed him a view of the notepad. Shadows and all thoughts of uncertainty were immediately vanquished. Encased in a heart was Riot's answer to his question. Yes. At that moment, Cayson felt like leaping up out of his seat and letting out a whoop. However, his want to leap for joy was trumped by Riot's touch. The soft way she traced his face. How she reeled him in. Her kiss. For how long had Cayson wondered what Riot's kiss would be like? It was definately far sweeter than he had imagined. He brought a hand up to rest on her shoulder as he kissed her back. Case could have sworn that he felt the world melt away just then. The room spun, disappeared, and then they were back again. He found himself looking deeply into her mismatched eyes. Funny how his own were a lot like hers, only instead of being two separate colours, they were two-toned. Amalgamated green-blue. He tilted his head further into her hand, his eyes shining with mirth. Riot. Here. With him. They'd just kissed. The first of...? Why did something still feel a little amiss though? Something had slipped his mind. It couldn't be that important if he had forgotten though, now could it? OOC - PS. Pre, The Panic Room doesn't serve alcohol. They just have a juice bar. :]
As he found his groove, Radin could feel eyes upon him, and he was simultaneously nervous but pleased. Were they impressed by his dance skills, or were they laughing at his attempt to move to the pace of a bubblegum song? Trying not to worry about it, he closed his eyes, and continued to move around on the floor, his tousled red hair falling into his face a bit and his tail flame glowing brightly to match his intense mood. It was too dangerous to keep his eyes shut for too long, though, considering the crowd, and Radin opened them again - to see that a thill had joined him. Having been at an angle to her, Radin pivoted so that he was facing the golden female, and he offered her a small grin as she danced nearby. Unlike some males, he did not immediately rush to her, and get on top of her, embracing her with his legs and using her as a tool to get off while dancing. He didn't even reach out a hand to touch her, or otherwise make any gestures. Perhaps it was his sexuality that made him a bit more respectful of females than the average arden, but whatever the case, it sufficed for him to dance just a foot or so away from his impromptu partner. This was just as enjoyable for him as dancing closely, and he hoped that this pretty stranger wouldn't think that, just because he refused to grab her and move her around as he liked, that he was turned off by her presence. The fact was, the opposite was true. Meanwhile, back in the owner's lounge. . . . Riot continued to grin at Case, though a sudden movement across the room distracted her eyes away from him momentarily. Turning her head, the thill watched as Radin abruptly cut off his flirtations with the attractive twins, excused himself, and then exited the owner's lounge. Though she couldn't be sure hers and Cayson's kiss had been the reasoning behind his sudden departure, Riot's ears slipped back, and she felt a small knot of guilt in her stomach. Turning back to gaze at her orange consort once again, this emotion expressed itself in a slight frown upon her caramel face. "I think Radin saw that," she said, and forced a laugh. "Did he, does he, have a crush on me?" she asked, enunciating each word with almost painful delicacy. Despite her concern for her friend, Riot could not keep the smile off her face for very long. Just looking at Cay made her want to grin forever, and as her eyes searched his face, so did her fingers. Her white digits softly explored over his masculine cheekbones, tracing the changes of colors, and she once more flirted her fingertips over his hairline. She loved the shade of his tresses, a perfect golden blonde, and the way his hair hung around his face in a somewhat messy fashion was so sexy, at least to her. Her fingers finally made their way across the bridge of his muzzle, and then she finished this rather touchy-feely moment by prodding Cayson on the nose, before leaning in and kissing him there. "You know, I love Radin. He's a great guy, and I hope that whatever it is that makes him uncomfortable about us passes. But, I'm not going to waste time feeling bad. Being here, with you, this feels so right, I've never felt so..." Riot spoke, pronouncing each word clearly, and with intensity. "I won't let him, or politics, or what-have-you get in the way of this. I like you way too much, way, way too much," Ri finished. She then pursed her lips, and looked at Case, hoping he would agree. And also hoping that he would kiss her. Again and again, forever and ever.
Nekhalla, rather disliked bubblegum pop most of the time, but she was good for anything at that moment. What she really wanted was a nice fast pace song, one that she could break dance too. She was definatly in the mood for that...She had learned a few new tricks a few days ago, and was in the mood to show them off. First, this blasted song would have to end though. She adjusted her goggle's strap as they had loosened a bit in the heat. The song was nearing to the end, a smile came on Nekhalla's face as the next song transitioned in, she smiled, it was just what she was waiting for... She grabbed a guy near her and asked him to help her clear an area, she didn't care if she was in the spot light or what, she just really need to break it down. After a few seconds, she had a decent sized circle, she put her goggles down let it all go. First she went for a head stand to warm up, then she got up and danced till she was ready for her next move. She then lead it into a coffe-grinder (better known as swing-your-leg-around-the other one), and then straight into a head spin. She topped it all off with a Butterfly, she bowed and then headed back into the crowd after pushing her goggles back on her head. That was all she needed for awhile.
Sah`Dja’s smile turned to a demure grin as the arden awakened to her presence; a thankful and faintly relieved expression that slowly lost itself to joyful concentration. Her mind had raced with all the things he could have done: turn away as if that glance had never taken place, burn her with a disapproving frown, or even walk away. But now he was watching her, had joined her, and she didn’t dare be the one who fumbled them both up. She loved the arden’s energy, and couldn’t imagine having any more fun than this. Still, a part of her longed for the old and ancient, where at least she would feel the caress of his fingers upon her arm, but the thought that sent a tremor through her vibrant russet wings was undoubtedly his hand cupped against her side. The song crashed into silence save a ghostly reverberation of the final tone. <span style='color:#EC056F'> “That was amazing!"</span> Sah`Dja exclaimed in admiration as her hands came together with a clap. A thrum rumbled from the subs to signal the birth of the next tune. She leaned forward until nearly brushing against his chest as a hand delicately came to rest on the arden’s shoulder. Her lips lightly pressed against his ear, and the golden thill trilled, <span style='color:#EC056F'> “Would you show this virgin something new?"</span> She eased back with a slight tuck of her head and held her hand up in the resulting gap. While the gesture held no place in a club, its intent and her challenging smile culminated in a bare-faced wish for him to swing her along to the new beat. Honestly, she wouldn’t have felt right simply standing back, forcing him to bear the spotlight alone, and it was the only thing she knew to do.
"Erk?" Came the surprised noise from Cayson as Riot mentioned Radin. "Well I..." Cayson began, only to be distracted by Riot's touch. He wanted to curl into her hands and forget about everything else. Radin though. He couldn't forget about Radin. Not the guy who had been to hell and back with him on multiple occasions. "Yeah, he did, does, like you. Actually, we were both kind of crushing on you. I talked to him though, and he seemed cool with the idea of, yeah. He actually encouraged me to... hm." Case was talking rather brokenly. He loved Radin as well. They just needed to fall back into sync with one another it seemed. Cay really didn't want to see their friendship drift apart. Not after so long. "And politics, yeah. That might get messy, but definately worth the trouble just to be with you." Cayson was referring to Koani of course. He had this feeling that she wouldn't be too pleased that he was "with" Riot. Who he happened to like, or love, for that matter, should be of no concern to her. He'd told himself this a over a hundred times now ever since he had first decided to share a little bit of his family history with Riot. Of course, Radin had already known all he had to share. Case had wanted Riot to be "in" on most of their secrets though, and so had extended a hand to her and had pulled her in. What had startled him the most was that Riot had already known that he was Koani's son. Case had thought that knowledge was exclusive only to his family and close friends. Somewhere, there was a leak. Cayson gently placed a white tipped finger underneath Riot's chin and lifted it up. "I like you way, way, way, too much to let anything get in the way of us as well." He confirmed before leaning in to kiss her again. A pair of pendragons, obviously sickened by Case and Riot's sentiments, took that moment to get up and leave the owner's lounge with wrinkled noses and exasperated whisperings.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Ho Hum...</td></tr></table> After a few more moments of staring at his drink with disgust, Sol pushed it away and leaned back on the stool, letting out a big yawn. Despite the livliness of the club, he was a bit on the tired side, and the occasion had turned out to be a bust. <span style='color:green'>How boring...</span> He muttered, and then, winking at the 'tender, started easing his way through the crowd, the chains and jewelery on his pants jingling to the beat of the music.
When the thill moved closer, put a hand upon his shoulder, and then whispered into his ear, Radin had to struggle not to look skeptical. The inclusion of the word "virgin" gave the arden mixed feelings, and he couldn't think of any non-naughty reason for her words. He dearly hoped that she did not expect anything beyond dancing, as he would never be the kind to be seduced with words, and drawn into a one night stand with a stranger. He hoped that she really was just a virgin, a "brave new girl," out tonight, and feeling a bit devious, instead of some cheap, seductive whore. Perhaps she was just in the mood to do a little bit of dirty dancing, nothing more. Well, whatever the case, the green pendragon would only find out one way: by initiating some tandem dancing. However, even as Radin prepared to get his groove on once more, the lyrics of the song blasted over the speakers, and gave the male pause. The music had implied a fast paced techno beat, but the singers' sweet voices denoted yet another round of bubblegum pop. In fact, the words were so saccharine and naïve, Radin could not help but smack a hand against his leg and laugh. My grades are down from A's to B's. I'm way behind in history. I've lost myself in fantasies. Of you and me together. I don't know why-y-y-y. But dreaming's all I do-o-o. I won't get by-y-y-y. On mere imagination. Upside down. Bouncing off the ceiling. Inside out. Stranger to this feeling. Got no clue what I should do. I go crazy if I can't get next to you. Suddenly amused beyond belief, and still inspired to dance, the arden set into motion. His movements were exaggerated, and rather comical, but he enjoyed himself as he began to spin around the dance floor. On each emphasis of the last syllable in the word "why," he bopped his head rather enthusiastically, and when a rather poetic ballad about dreams coming true came on, Radin moved towards the golden female, put an arm around her, and dipped her, lip syncing along with the lyrics. He then tugged her back upwards and began to shake as the music became fast once again, pumping his arms all about like an overeager teeny bopper. Sooner or later, he'd really take the thill up on the offer of some mischievous dancing - but for now, he was having a damned good time making fun of the club's latest dose of nioti'ish music. Meanwhile. . . . What's up with the teeny bopper music? Riot found herself randomly thinking, but her thoughts were brushed aside as Case spoke. His words were rather serious, and Ri's brow furrowed as she pondered them, wondering just why it had to be so hard when she'd finally found somebody so perfect. Not, she reminded herself, that either of them would let the obstacles in front of them get in the way of things. No, Cayson and Riot were quite obviously "meant to be," and Riot would personally beat the shit out of anybody that stood in her way. Hey, she'd done it before. But, those kind of thoughts aside, Stormwing just wanted to live in the moment, and forget about their worries - just for a little while, anyway. And she got that chance when Case cupped her chin, and then leaned in for a second round of kissing. Riot closed her eyes and let go of all her frustrations, her white hands bracing lightly against the arden's jawline as they shared their sweet exchange. This one was a little longer, and quite a bit more active than the last, and when Riot finally leaned back to take a breath, she could almost mistake how she felt for being high. It was just so perfect, and awesome, despite everything. It was a dream come true... and the next song that began to play over the club's loudspeakers was so in tune to said moment, said dream. Girl, when we started, baby, we were friends. But that's not how this fairy tale is gonna end. See, I was thinkin' that it clicked one day. That no one else has ever made me feel this way. The next time I saw you, girl, I knew I had to try. To tell you everything that I was feelin' deep inside. And listen good, 'cause what I say is from my heart. So, if you're ready... You see, I toss and turn when I'm alone. And I just can't wait 'til you get home. Waitin' for your call. 'Cause tonight we're gonna do it all. Girl, it's just the two of us. 'Cause I'm thinkin' about you day and night. And I just can't get you off my mind. When you get a minute, baby, I was thinking we could hook up. It's just the two of us, the two of us. 'Cause in a room full of people, you're the only one around. And nothing in this world could ever bring us down. Baby, I'll be there telling you I care. This I swear. Girl, it's just the two of us, the two of us. Baby, I wonder if you feel the same as I do. I wonder if you're going through the things I'm going through... I sent you flowers on a Saturday. Inside's a letter with a message and no name. See, I just love the feeling, knowing I can make you smile. And I haven't felt that about someone in quite a while. Just listen to these words I have to say. Just take a chance. It just gets better with each day. I always wanted to tell you. But I was so afraid.
Sah`Dja’s thoughts couldn’t help but mirror the green arden’s. The lyrics that streamed out were just silly, and in that situation, proved amusing to no end. She couldn’t help her broad smile, but even then, felt she had missed the punch-line when the male let loose with a laugh. Had it been her? And true to the sentiment, his pickup to the beat hadn’t been quite what she expected, but then, what had she? His moves still threw her the clue, and she let loose with wild abandon to the song’s techno beat. Her feet borrowed liberally from everything she had in memory, anything that synched with the synth or pulled an interesting twist from the tune. Arms moved in wild freedom but always in emphasis to the stomps or an accent to the swing of her feet. It was crazy, it was fun, and all from such a silly, silly song. The golden thill felt almost breathless as the new song transitioned in, her insides bubbly with glee at the memory of all those crazy steps just flung without thought and the dashing moments the arden had spun during her frequent glances towards him. Her fist lifted before her muzzle in an effort to contain it all, her mouth faintly parted in a silent laugh. The verdant male hadn’t steered her wrong, and Sah`Dja dearly hoped he would keep that record the evening through. The feeling of his arm wrapping her waist caught her by surprise. He had returned, but she hadn’t expected, hadn’t really even paid the moment much attention. That sharp moment of recognition flashed through her body and then she released herself to his arms with a delighted grin. Had she heard this song before? She wasn’t certain, but as he mouthed the words pouring from above, it all clicked, and while rising back up, Sah`Dja glanced at a page from the ancient and decided to do something new. Her fingers slipper from his arm as they parted and she turned her back to his side. An affected glance and demure grin remained posted over her shoulder as she danced, both to echo the tune and as a note to tell the arden ‘I’m with you.’ Her moves turned to a more sensual stage, half hidden from him with the barrier of her wings. The moment he turned to her, she was gone; two-stepping to place her back close to his, executed with all the flowing grace of the sea. Russet wings bent to subtly kiss his shoulders and arms with their feathers while the tips of her fiery hair lightly brushed against his red mane as she danced. Her head turned to glance over her shoulder again. He hadn’t seemed the touchy-feely sort, and she respected the appraisal by keeping a breath of space between them, those faint touches of her hair and wings all he would have to bear. Any real hit to her daring wings cast her further along the circle around him, and any further turn of his sent her in a twist towards the opposite direction to continually keep their respective position a little different, tantalizing close but apart. She meant to become that girl the lyrics yearned for, there for the glance and gone for expression of desire. Her wings morphed into that little something always in between the lover on the beloved, even becoming the double gate she danced behind as one turn placed them face to face. Sah`Dja found her gaze wandering across his back as the gift of flowers filtered into their ears and her moves turned even more sensuous. Arms crossed her chest and drew to her bare belly before those hands parted to her hips and pushed down her rear as her body twisted to the beat. The song wound down, the last sentiments of the dream fast coming to bear. She shifted to the arden’s side and glanced up into his eyes, hoping for another dip and an echo to the final words from his lips.
Joo-eun glared in the direction of the DJ, [There IS a dj right? or someone playing the music...if not, just ignore it ><] 'What frickin' music is this?' It was annoying and...well "bouncy" for lack of a better word. Just as she was deciding to leave, she heard a familiar beat, one she COULD flow with. 'It's about time...' She thought happily, her fingers tapping against the table, her head bobbing softly to the rhythm of the funked up tune. Everybody, everybody, let's get into it. Get stupid. Get it started, get it started, get it started. Let's get it started let's get it started in here. Let's get it started let's get it started in here. Let's get it started let's get it started in here. Let's get it started let's get it started in here. Yeah. She jumped off her seat and moved toward the dance floor, her waist swaying from side to side to the beat, the music pounding against her. How she missed this, partying, but she terribly missed her old friends, going to Saturday night parties with them, when her and Kael were still together, he'd be behind her, holding her waist, and they'd flow together, blending in together as she moved her back into him. Everything was perfect, until her friends and her split up and went their own ways and then Kael and her broke up...for reasons of trust. And now he was back, and everything would be flipped upside down for her, so just this night, just for one night she was gonna have a great time and then...just maybe she'd face him again. 'Stupid Kael, why can't you just move on, forget and move on,'
Nekhalla sighed and slipped back over to a seat. She ordered a fruit drink and then sat sideways in a chair with her legs crossed. She rested her head in a hand, and an elbow on her knee. The next song was one she knew all to well...It was her song... She's a rebel She's a saint She's salt of the earth And she's dangerous She's a rebel Vigilante Missing link on the brink Of destruction From the Uhai to Pwa She's the one that they Call old whatsername She's the symbol of resistance and she's holding on my heart like a hand grenade is she dreaming what I'm thinking is she the mother of all bombs gonna detonate is she trouble like I'm trouble make it a double twist of fate or a melody that sings the revolution the dawning of our lives she brings the liberation that I just cant define nothing comes to mind She's a rebel She's a saint She's salt of the earth And she's dangerous She's a rebel Vigilante Missing link on the brink Of destruction She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's dangerous She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's dangerous She always wondered if there really was a guy out there for her...All the couples in the crowd made her wish she wasn't alone...It seemed every guy she befriended just wanted to be friends...nothing more...Sometimes she wished she wasn't such a rebel. She sighed and tapped her foot in time with the beat...
Joo-eun stopped dancing after awhile and looked at her watch, 'I should get some sleep.. She thought, which wouldn't be a bad idea, she was utterly tired, she made her way through the crowd and out the door. <s>Ooc; This place is like...dead o.o =3</s>
Cayson held up a white-tipped and blue banded hand, signaling a momentary pause. He looked around himself. His eyes were obviously in search mode. Where had the pencil and notepad gone? Then he spied the pair, resting plainly beside RiotÂ’s thigh where they had been dropped and carelessly nudged aside. He reached over and gingerly tried to grab the notepad and pencil with one hand. He secured the notepad, but fumbled with the pencil. It slipped out of his grip and fell onto the floor. Case smiled wanly at Riot. He wasnÂ’t usually this clumsy. He then broke away from her in order to retrieve the writing utensil. Once he had it, he repositioned himself comfortably on the couch, once again quite snug beside Riot. He then opened the notepad, flipped past a few pages and then raised it up to his own eye level so as to hide whatever he was about the write from RiotÂ’s gaze. Case put on an exaggerated mask of concentration and tilted his head as he stared intently at the notepad, as if everything that was crucial to his living existence was contained on that simple blank piece of paper. With his pencil poised at a horizontal to the page, he began to make a few daring and hasty scribbles. Once finished, he lowered the notepad and shifted it into RiotÂ’s hands. Drawn on it was a rather quick and crude drawing of two pendragons, obviously in love as the hearts surrounding them indicated. Beneath that was a simple question written in CaysonÂ’s fine print. Would you be my girlfriend? Y / N ?
When Case put up a hand, and then busied himself with the notepad, Riot watched him with raised eyebrows. What was he up to now? He began to scrawl across the paper, though he held it close to his face so that the thill couldn't read it. She chuffled a bit at this, and then laughed outright at the concentrated look upon his face. These merry sounds were stifled, however, when the arden eventually handed the notepad to her, and Riot was able to appraise what Cayson had written. As her eyes scanned over the crude drawing, and then the words, she knew that it was a jesting little note, not to be taken too seriously. However, Riot was somehow touched. The little sketch was so cute, as well as the question, an echo of middle school days when everything was done via notes and friends instead of face to face. It was also honorable of Cayson to "seal the deal," so to speak, and not just decide they were together on kisses alone. Because of all of this, Riot felt a flood of pure happiness flow through her, and then erupt into a laugh. She leaned in close to Case's face, putting their foreheads together, and nibbled affectionately on his nose. In the next moment, she then drew away, grabbed the pen, and circled the "Y" several times. She showed her answer to Cayson, but did not hand the notebook back to him. Instead, she tore off the particular page, folded it carefully, and put it into her back pocket. I'm going to save it and frame it, Riot said in way of explanation. So, boyfriend, she added on then. Let's go dance? With those words spoken, the thill leapt from her soft seat, and then dragged Case up behind her. A great mixture of pop, techno, and rock was playing over the speakers - the beginning of a great dance song. With Cayson in tow behind her, his colorful hand grasped in her white one, Riot exited the lounge and hopped down the steps, heading towards the middle of the dance floor. There, they could "christen" their relationship with a good deal of touching, kissing, and dancing. Meanwhile. . . . Eventually, the music did get better, and with it, the dancing. This nameless thill sure knew how to move, though she had an ancient sensuousness to her groove. She wasn't downright dirty, like a lot of females were, and she didn't try to get too close. Radin appreciated this, was even turned on by it, the way she was so discreet and yet so intense, her touches so fleeting. She even kept her body out of view in general, always slipping to his side or posterior, her body covered by her feathers. That is, until she gave herself a rubdown, which was watched appreciatively from behind darkened eyeglasses. He was glad she couldn't see where his eyes lingered, though when she was done, he almost felt like she could see behind his shades; she locked gazes with him as the song ended, as if asking an unspoken question. At this point in time, Radin wanted to grab her and do some hot and heavy grinding, or something of that sort. However, just as another song came on, and he was preparing to slip his arm around the female's waist, Radin caught sight of Riot and Case a few feet away. They were oblivious to him, so wound up one another's company, and he watched as they moved in close together - so close - and began to dance. At that moment, the green arden felt his stomach fall out of his butt, and he lost the inspiration to dance. He didn't even want to be here anymore. It wasn't that he wasn't supportive of Riot and Case. He was. It was just that it reminded him of his crush upon the thill, and how nothing would ever come of the dreams he'd had about them. With a sigh, Radin glanced to his unnamed dance partner. I'm sorry, he mouthed to her. But I have to go. He offered her an apologetic wave then, and slipped off the dance floor and out of sight.

The moment the arden drew closer, Sah`Dja felt a hot jolt run through her. She longed for him to draw her close, to feel him hold her, and to pretend that he was really there for her, but then he held his hand. She glanced up in wonder at the pause but could not see what he might be thinking behind the shades. A moment passed before she realized that he was no longer looking at her, that his gaze had shifted somewhere aft and to the side. Sah`Dja began to turn to see what he was looking at, but then his attention seemed to shift back as he silently addressed her. She did not want to believe her eyes. Going? This was the last night she had, it wasn’t allowed to simply fall apart like this, especially when she was having fun. <span style='color:#EC056F'>“Damnit,"</span> she cursed under her breath as he slipped away. The line of her mouth firmed, and she pushed on after him. Like hell she was just going to let him go. <span style='color:#EC056F'>“Hey, wait up!"</span>
