Lukhan looked toward the dragon who had scrambled from his seat, only to collapse. "poor bastard, this won't end well for him." HE said to himself, walking over to dreed and faedra. "Very impressive fight, both of them. You truly are the best fighter here." Said lukhan to dreed.
Dreed turns his eyes away from Faedra then looks upon the 'dragon that interupted them. Smirks lightly and nodded to the 'dragon. "I never knew anyone was watching, but thanks anyway." He spoke to Lukhan with a smirk then turns his eyes back to Faedra lowering his eyes back to the drink. Takes a sip of it and glares a bit looking to the reflection of Lukhan standing there in it still looking on him. Turns his eyes away and sighs looking back to Faedra.
Lukhan walked into the bleachers. He then flew up onto the top of one of the black spires making up the arena. "Heh, best seat in the house." He remarked to himself, watching the fights down below.
Faedra's keen ears swivelled around at the sound of another's footsteps approaching. She turned her head just as another 'dragon arrived to stand next to their table. The young femme listened with a proud smile as he complimented Dreed's fighting skills, pleased that her friend had gotten such attention. She was relieved that Dreed had a reason to fight...though she did not know the details of the reason well enough to judge if it was legitimate, she trusted Dreed to have made the right decision, even at the cost of killing another creature. Besides, she felt no need to search his mind for further answers. His business was no concern of hers, though she did feel a tugging curiosity. Well, I'm glad you're all right, Dreed, she said with a smile, as the other 'dragon left, and turned her hands upwards to grasp his. I was frightened when I saw you fall. I truly thought you were dead... She trailed off uncomfortably, unwilling to allow herself to sink back into memories of the event that had just happened recently. It still sent chills down her spine thinking about it. I've never killed anyone before...aside from hunting that is, she said thoughtfully, downing the last of her strange pungent drink. I don't think I'd like to. She did not like to imagine the blood of another pendragon soaking her hands. She did not want to put herself in that mindset, because she knew that the moment she drove her claws into anther's heart, all the memories and emotions ever experienced in that 'dragon's life would flood into her mind and drown out all other feelings. It happened whenever she hunted. She would get a rush of feeling and memory from the creature, simple and brief as they may be, but she knew that a pendragon's emotions would be much more detailed and discernable. It would break her heart to see the pendragon's life rush through her brain. Memories of lovers, children, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, enemies, pain, joy, tears, laughter...how much of it could she take? Faedra shivered impulsively and rubbed her arms for warmth, banishing the thoughts from her mind.
Dreed sighs heavily as Lukhan left then lowered his eyes away. Shakes his head lightly then lifts his eyes back up looking to the eyes of Faedra as she spoke of never wanting to take the life of another 'dragon or anything of the such. Shakes his head a bit feeling the grasp of her hand against his then glares a bit. "You will have to defend your life one of these days perhaps. And it might lead to you killing that of another 'dragon." He spoke as if he seen the future then lowers his eyes once more. Slides his tongue over his lips a bit then takes the last of his drink into his mouth then slams the glass back down on the table, breaking it beneath his hand. Winces a bit and shakes his head a bit. Lifts his hand up and looks to the blood that flows from it then lowers it back against the table. "But I never want to hear of the day that you would have to do such a thing." He spoke touching the back of his blooded hand to her cheek gently then places it back on the table.
Faedra kept her mismatched eyes locked onto Dreed's as he spoke. It was true, she knew...someday, perhaps she would be forced to take another's life in return for her safety. It frightened her, the prospect, but she could not deny the truth of Dreed's words. His concern for her touched her heart, and she smiled thinly as his hand stroked her cheek gently. I suppose I will be ready, when the time calls for it, she said thoughtfully, pushing her empty mug away. The taste still coated her tongue and she savoured it for a moment. So, she said, aiming to change the subject to one that would be less bleak, how long to you plan to stay here? It's so crowded here that I can barely hear my own thoughts. The comment was spoken lightly to show that she was not entirely serious, but half of it was true. Faedra had never been surrounded by so many living creatures before, and now that she had finished speaking for a moment, she allowed her eyes to wander and take in the many sights and sounds of the room around her. Different colours of all the fur coats around her danced before her vision, and the timbre of many voices swarmed in her ears. So many 'dragons crowded into such a room was certainly a sigh Faedra had never seen before.
Dreed nods to her slowly then licks his lips lightly drawing his hand back from her face. Turns his eyes out onto the floor and looks at all the 'dragons that moved about and everything. Reaches his free hand up and slides it along his mane, moving a bit of it back behind his ear. Glares a bit as a few continued to move about speaking about his fight and everything that took place in the sphere. Shakes his head slowly then turns his eyes back to Faedra. "Well, we could go back to my room and get away from all of these people." He offered holding up his door key to her. Grins lightly and reaches his finger into the glass he drank out of and collects a bit of the green liquid at the bottom of it then touches it to his tongue.
