  1. They started to walk again to this place that Gyr told Ujjyf about. He turned to look at Ujjyf and found by looking at him that he wanted to know why they stopped and hid from Geud. Gyr had to come up with something to explain the situation. "Shus fut ni vushaj." Gyr eyes filled with anger at the mere sight him. His heart was beating with hatred, like he was ready to lash out, but he couldn't because of Ujjyf. If Gyr tried to do something stupid and idiotic like that, Ujjyf would probably do everything he could in his power to help him. Self-control was the only thing to dao to save Ujjyf from something dangerous like that. Returning to the subject, Gyr said, "Es't rats sy ubyep hen vyj myf."

Gyr led to another alley that looked similar to the one Gyr was hiding at. However, there some slight differences. The buildings weren't that cramped than the other, or there weren't many cracks. There were crates, but not as many than the other alley. Also, the sun seemed to get in that alley more than the other. Gyr led Ujjyf down the alley they entered, stepping on the wet ground that was ashfelt. The sun was setting and it was getting dark. Then Gyr came to a stop in front of a door that had no lock, or door handle. The door itself looked like ones that led down to the basements of old houses. Gyr knelt down infront of the door and reached out his left hand. He opened a little sliding part of the door that hid a switch, or password mechanism that was locking the door. He typed in the password to the mechanism that would unlock the door. After typing it in, the door gave off a click then opened.

Gyr stepped down the steps, making sure that Ujjyf was following. A light came on when the door closed and locked itself after Ujjyf came in. The light only lit up the stairwell, until Gyr came to a big room, then the lights came on and the gid computer screens, the bed, the kitchen, and the living room areas lights came on. The computer screens lit up, waking from stand-by mode and showing a field to type in the name and password.

  2. Ujjyf blinked in surprise at the high-tech room, feeling confused. What were they? Pets? Doubtfully, he reached out and touched one clawed digit to a bright screen, giving a tiny squeak when it beeped and quickly withdrawing his hand. His ears pressed back against his head and he bared his teeth at the thing, tucking his wings closer to his body and eyeing his surroundings distrustfully. It was quite a funny sight.

Still curled slightly into himself to keep away from what he'd decided to consider dangerous, he glanced back at Gyr, giving the arden a slightly helpless look. "Er..." realizing Gyr had probably heard him squeak, he decided to cover up the fact that it had surprised him. A brilliant idea came to mind. "Es res na?" Posed more as a question than a statement as Ujjyf was silently hoping the bright things were pets.

  3. Gyr walked up to the computer screen with the keyboards hanging out. With a soft touch of each key, he typed his username and his password. Next thing, his computer was active, with folders on the screen that open by double-clicking. He opened up a file on Yki's, which all the info on them. He didn't had much time to know about them, but now seemed opportune.

Gyr turned to Ujjyf as he squeaked. Gyr then seemed a bit humored at Ujjyf as he said it bit him. Gyr looked at the screen then back to Ujjyf. "Emunemusa yrqakst pym's resa. Es nupa u myeta fham iyo syokhap es. Es't mys tyna cemp yv gas. Es't u kyngosaj. U hedh-sakh nukhema shus hut emvy ym shemdt, dunat sy glui, shemdt sy py, siga og tsyjeat. Iyo cmyf, shus tsovv." Gyr gave a little smile after explaining the purpose of the machine.

  4. Well...now he just felt stupid. Glaring at the bright screen nearest him, Ujjyf stuck his tongue out at it, pulling his wings closer to his body so the "computer" wouldn't beep again. "Pumdajyot." He muttered under his breath, glancing at the screen Gyr was playing with. "Fhus uja iyo pyemd?" He asked curiously, peering over Gyr's shoulder. It was just a jumble of squiggly lines to him, although Ujjyf was still curious. Did Gyr understand the lines?

  5. He ran his fingers along each line of keys that were on the board. Pushing down on specific ones, a window opened with information on Yki tribes. He read the information that came with all tribe summaries. He closed it and moved away from the computer and answered Ujjyf's question. "E fut lyycemd og tyna emvy ym Icet. Rakuota E mabaj hup u Ice doats ravyja ump E huba sy huba emvy ym shan ravyja raemd u hyts." He walked over to the kitchen, moving behind the counter, into the fridge.

He opened the door, took some food out, then closed it. He walked over to the bench, placing the food on it softly. He looked up at Ujjyf and said, "Homdji?"

  6. Ujjyf tilted his head, regarding the food carefully, before stepping forward and sniffing the frozen food. He wrinkled his nose at the strange smell, still curious. &woys;Fhus et es?&woys; he asked, staying a respectful distance away lest this be dangerous as well. 'Us lauts es pyatm's raag.'

  7. Gyr was a bit confused at what the Yki asked about the food. It was a meat product, which even Ykis should be familiar with. There were two steaks that could be fefrosted in the microwave and then put in a frying pan over the stove. He picked up the frozen food then put them in the microwave to defrost them. He pressed a few buttons, which made beeping noises, and it was now defrosting the meat.

He turned to Ujjyf to reply to his question. "Even you should know what meat is when you look at it, even if it is frozen." Gyr wasn't saying in a rude way, just pointing a fact. Gyr was even trying to be rude, though it is hard being the host of a guest.

  8. Now he just felt silly, unable to recognise the scent of meat. But he'd never seen frozen meat; it had always been freshly killed when he'd eaten it, so he was just a bit confused. Blushing slightly under his fur, he moved closer, watching Gyr put the meat in a strange box that beeped when he poked it. Tilting his head, he grinned sheepishly at Gyr, hunching his shoulders slightly as if hiding. "E ugylydexa, E'n mys otap sy gja-cellap naus." Sniffing, he still couldn't identify what animal Gyr was going to give him; another surprise, he supposed.

Glancing at Gyr out of the corner of his eye, he wondered if he was annoying the Kiom. He'd hate it if he was, but he couldn't help it. Even among the tribe there was technology, yes, but he wasn't taught the same things as the other nioti. Maybe if he hadn't begun hanging out with that group that'd come through the mountains...frowning in thought, he pictured how different his life might've been.

ooc: I'm back. :) Sorry to keep you waiting.

  9. The sound of the microwave stopped, and Gyr opened the door. He took out the meat, removed them for the bag, and placed them on the frying pan over the stove. He turned that particular hot plate that the pan was on on, that started to cook the meat. Gyr turned and said, "Es't yc. E pepm's azgaks iyo sy." Gyr turned back to the stove, turning the meat over so the other side could be cooked aswell.

While the meat was cooking, he took two open bottles of water, handing one to Ujjyf. "Es't fusaj. Shyodhs iyo kyolp py fesh u pjemc." Gyr placed the bottle in front of Ujjyf, watching him. Though was a Yki, Ujjyf should know a bottle, not mattering over the shape, when he sees one. Gyr turned to the pan to flip the meat over again, turning down the heat so it would take a little while longer.

  10. Ujjyf sniffed appreciatively, watching Gyr cook the meat with a curious look on his face. When Gyr put the bottle in front of him, he blinked, snapped out of his trance. "Ah. Shumct." He lifted the bottle, studying the cap carefully before he twisted it off. He smiled, kind of proud of himself; he wasn't completely helpless.

He took a long drink out of the bottle, again leaning around to look at the cooking meat. "Tnallt dyyp!" He offered meekly, inhaling as much of the heavenly aroma as possible.

  11. Gyr smiled at the Yki as he unscrewed the cap on the bottle. The pendragon thought that Ykis weren't familiar with these kind of bottles. However, Ujjyf was a quick learner. "Iyoj falkyna," said Gyr'taan as he turned to check the meat, turning them over again.

Gyr made sure that the meat was cooked before getting the plates out. He took the pan, taking the meat out and placing them on the plates. Ykis should know how to use cutlery, it's not that hard. Taking out a fork and a knife, he placed them next to the meat, moving the plate in front of Ujjyf. "Amqyi" the pendragon said smiling.

  12. Ujjyf sniffed the meat before carefully picking up his knife and fork, cutting into it neatly. He cut the entire thing up, murmuring a thanks before stabbing several bites and nearly inhaling them off his fork. He hadn't eaten in a while, and this tasted really good!

"Palekeyot! E'ba mabaj sutsap umishemd shet dyyp em ni leva!" He looked up at Gyr, wondering if it'd be rude to ask for more; his was already almost gone.
