<p>She flashed a quick smile at her few spectators when T pointed them out, doing her best to hide how ecstatic she was feeling. She lived for a crowd, even a small one like this. She gave them an apologetic smile as she slid the guitar back into its case for safe keeping.</p> <p>“Hmmm, singer. Those are hard to come by, so I’ll keep you in mind.” It was meant to come across as a simple passing comment, but in all honesty, she tried to keep tabs on as many musical ‘dragons as she could. She could never let the dream of being in a band die.</p> <p>The fact that he kept offering her a way out made her want to latch on harder. She was afraid that she made him uncomfortable and that he now thought her strange. She couldn’t bear to leave him with that sort of impression of her, she was fixated on the idea of everyone having to like her, even the people she had only just met in the hall.</p> <p>“Of course! It’s a good time for an adventure to find your class. I like to think that I know my way around this school fairly well by now, but the outside grounds are a bit of a mystery to me.” Having been so overwhelmed by the school when she first arrived a few years ago she had immersed herself in exploring the many hallways, not giving much thought to the grounds that lay above the class rooms.</p> <p>She bounced up onto her feet with some showy enthusiasm as she swung the bag onto her back. “So, which direction do you have a good feeling about?”</p>
