Jayde gave a half grin. "It could have been worse... I think." She looked at her leg. "That sucks though. I get the feeling it's going to happen a few more times too..."
Incendi shrugged "If this keeps up you'll become immune to the venom. there is a method to the madness after all. i don't expect you'll be able to not get bit until youre a bit older"
Jayde blinked. "I guess there is. And how long before I become immune?" Jayde declined commenting on that last part, as she let go of the tmuka's tail and trailed a finger down it's back.
Incnedi muttered inaudibly under her breath as she once again administered antivenom and brewed up the yucky drink. Miska glanced over his back and tilted his head when Jayde started to run her finger down his back. if he could have blinked he would have, instead he flicked out his tongue in slight confusion.
Jayde pulled a face, but didn't say anything. That stuff really was disgusting. She looked at the tmuka and shrugged. "Just because. Does it bother you?" She repeated the motion.
Miska gave a serpentine shrug that rippled down his back in response. Incendi handed her the fould drink. "Same as last time. Drink up."
Jayde stuck her tongue out and grabbed the tonic. She drained it, and shuddered. "Nastyyy!"
Incendi nodded"Good. It's supposed to be that way." she glanced at Miska and yawned slightly. "Take a break."
Jayde raised an eyebrow. "How can you be tired? You weren't the one running through trees. Or dodging a tmuka. Or swinging across vines..."
Incendi smirked and pointed up at the sky "It's starting to get dark. and we've got some night exercises to do later. you'll be thankful for the rest."
She silently thanked her night vision and laid her head on the ground. She yawned. "How long do we get?"
Incendi shrugged "As soon as the sun goes down you'll be working." Miska curled up in a small coil, head resting on his body.
Jayde's eyes drooped and closed. "Whatever," she mumbled, lost to sleep within seconds.
Incendi stretched out, eyes closing as she took a small nap. Miska glanced around, and decided that Jayde's body was warmer and curld up on top of her.
The tmuka's movements woke jayde up. She cracked open an eye. "figures." she closed her eyes again, letting the tmuka stay.
*insert fastforward here* Incendi stretched with a yawn as the final edge of the sun dipped below the horizon. she glanced over at Jayde and gave her a soft kick.
Jayde let out a growl, and cracked her eyes open. "Now?" Jayde stretched, careful not to bother the tmuka. "What are we, excuse me, what am I going to be doing?"
Incendi smirked, "You're going on a mile run." her eyes glowed softly as she lifted her niece into the air so that while she ran she wouldn't actually go anywhere. Miska looked sleepily up from his coil and promptly fell back asleep.
She shrugged. "Sounds fun. Just sucks I don't get to see the change of scenery."
Incendi shrugged "Enjoy your warm up. soon we're going to practice your dosging skills."
