Out of Character
After this post, Aaron, you could have Fe’shi approach. Then Jace and Okkie will probably want to be alone, but the latter will arrange a meeting with Fe’shi for later. Okee?
In Character
“If I belong somewhere, you do, as well. It is part of mateship. Anywhere I go, you may follow, unless there is some desperate reason not to. You were welcome to stand by me as I talked to my old friend, you were just as wanted there as he was. Especially since it was uncomfortable for me — I would have appreciated your support. I mean, couldn’t you tell that I was nervous about facing him? I did not want to see him. Once, he declared his love for me, and I told him no, and that was the last we saw of each other. It was very disconcerting to see him here today, to have to confront him, and it was only made worse by your behavior, and his. It would have been great if you had seen this, had said something along the lines of, ‘Nice to meet you, sir, but we are on a private date, would you please excuse us?’ I would have loved that, it would have spoken all your feelings about him, but it would have been polite, and we could have left his company in peace. Instead, you responded to his bait and lowered yourself to his level, fighting over something that was already yours, wholly yours. I mean, the thought is nice, having a big, bad, protective mate is comforting in a way. But, somehow, I wish you two could have been an ounce more civil to each other. Though, I sort of understand now — it is only right to stand your ground over something that you believe is yours to have and to hold.” Okkie spoke eloquently to her mate’s first spout of grievances, picking and choosing her words carefully, attempting to convey a message without seeming hostile. After all, the last thing she wanted to do was have a full-blown argument with Jace, and push him away. Because, no matter how new he was at this, he was the best thing that had ever happened to the young femme, and a rift with him would be a tragedy in itself. “You still don’t understand, I don’t want to be alone with him, thus the whole problem. I do not want to be alone with him. I do not want to go there. He is my friend, but right now is not the time. So, don’t say you are going to leave, leave and force me to talk to him. That’s not what I want. Please don’t. I want you here, not him,” Stormwing said in response to Javelin’s desire to depart by himself. “So, stay, please?” Okkie tilted her head, her liquid eyes shifting, watery, her soul behind them. Now that their disagreement was mellowing, now that they were seeing on a more eye-to-eye basis, she wanted to get close to him again, retrieve her throne in his arms. The thought of being left alone to discuss things with Fe’shi seemed like a cold torture, not because she did not like him, but because she was not yet ready for that little discussion. She wanted the warmth of her mate, the solemnity of being with him, and him alone. There would be times for the other male in the future, but right now, the minutes belonged to Valimos. “As for your question about pretending in front of me. No, I would never want you to do that, now that I think about it. I want you to be true to yourself, because that is the most attractive thing about a person. I told you on the day that we met and fell in love, that I would never tolerate any desires of yours to have me change to fit your needs. The same should go for me, yes? I do not wish to change you, I simply want you to know and realize that you never have to worry, that you do not have to be aggressive with other males, even ones who come forth, get on one knee, and ask me to marry them. Because no matter what, I am true to you, Javelin. And that,” she said in a loud, concise voice, “shall never change.” And she held out her milky hands, in the universal gesture of wanting a hug, to be dragged close to her mate once again, to be had and held.
ooc: Sounds great. I will approach and come again in the other thread in the near future. ic: Fe'shi lifts his eye back you the water looking out at th vastness of the waters. Glares slightly then licks his lips lightly. Closes his eye and reaches a ahnd up infront of himself. A deep red arau flowed forth from his form, causing him to vanish from the small island. Reappears standing out on the reef once more. Lifts his eye up and drops his hand back down to his side looking on at the two of these 'dragons as they was getting ready to go and rejoice with one another once. Crosses his arms over and looks upon them tilting his head to the side as he looks to them. It appears that I'm at a lose for words. Perhaps I should just go and...yeah. He thought looking at them then lowers his eye away. Closes his eye slowly then casts up his hand above his head. Closes his hand into a fist then extends two fingers forth. Red arua showered down upon him, over flowing his body. Soon the arua causes him to vanish from the area. Never to be seen again for this day and time.
in.character - javelin valimos Javelin listened lovingly to everything that his mate had to say, carefully listening to what she had to say in response. He had to agree. The spy hadn't handled this situation in the best way possible, though there was certainly no real "good" way that they could have reacted to all of this. There was so much going on at once, so little known, about the relationship between Fe'shi and Okkie, that it had been hard to control himself. Now he had learned his lesson, though, and would be better next time. More calm and controlled, less like the angry ball of energy that he had been today. Yet at least he had solved this properly with his consort, that was all that really mattered. Far more than Fe'shi and his petty little feelings - absolutely nothing compared to the affection that Jace felt for his mate. It was a fluid reaction to this, that his opinions slipped away. It didn't matter who was right and who was wrong. That was inconsequencial when compared to the simple fact that they were both here, near one another, ready to make amends. An argument wasn't worth having. Not about so petty a matter as this. Fe'shi didn't deserve the attention, if you asked Jace. Despite his slowing anger, there was still a certain amount of tense feelings toward the friend of Okkie. Stormwing was his beloved and that was her friend, but if he had a chance, the male would avoid the pair whenever they were hanging out with one another. Doing something else because he didn't want a reoccurance of what had happened today. Though maybe it would be better to just deal with it, to learn what was up with Fe'shi so that things would be better between them. Thinking of Fe'shi drew the thought of where the male was to mind, which caused his gaze to flicker, catching sight of the other male before he disappeared. A bit puzzled, Jace watched for a moment to see if he would show up again, but lowered his gaze back to the lovely milk-and-chocolate lady before him as she continued to speak. It was far less important than her, no matter what had happened with Fe'shi. Running his hand through his hair once more, the male slid back into the water, so that he was level once more with his mate. At the gesture in desire for a hug, the male responded instantly, moving forward and wrapping his arms around her, arms flitting downward so that they were wrapped warmly around her waist. As they had been before Fe'shi appeared on the scene, earlier. "And I shall always be true to you, Okkatteiru, no matter what the circumstances. Even if I do act like a bloody idiot." Jace replied with a curved, utterly loving smile.
