Khodac jumped at the fact that Teakany had just come in. He got up. "Teakany! Your all wet! Here, let me help!" he said getting her a towel to dry off on. He went into the kitchen and got some of the leftover tea, still warm and brought it out to her. "Here, drink this"
Asenka groaned. She was tired, but for some reason, her body wouldn't let her sleep. "It's worry" ,she told herself. "Until Teakany returns,you won't get a wink of sleep". She threw her prefrme bottle at the light switch, and it clicked off. She slowly did drift off to sleep eventually, but it was quickly disturbed by a quick but frightening nightmare.: She was walking around the grounds alone, and it was pitch black. She happened upon Teakany,who looked like she was lying on the ground sleeping. But something was blocking her full view. What ever it was was gone when she blinked. She walked up to Teakany, ready to pick her up, but was stopped in her tracks when she got there. Teakany was laying in a pool of blood. She screamed and before she could turn around someone grabbed her from behind choking her. Before she hit the ground she heard a familiar voice.. Asenka woke up in a cold sweat and having a hard time breathing. She wasn't sure if Khodac was actually asleep, or resting his eyes. She'd know in a few seconds though. She clutched her chest and tried to calm her self down.
Khodac looked at Asenka after handing the tea to Teakany. "What's wrong? You look like you've had a bad dream" he said to her. He walked over to her and gave her a hug. "It's ok"
She gasped for breath. "I'm fine." she coughed. She looked around to see Teakany sitting at the kitchen table with a towel wrapped around her. "Hey" she said smiling weakly at her. When she saw her tears swelled in her eyes. The dream had really scared her, and she wasn't even sure if Khodac's hold on her could make her forget what she saw. And who was it that had tried to kill her after they so brutally murdered her roommate? She hugged Khodac back and went limp in his arms.
Khodac smiled. "It's ok now, nothing to worry about" he said. He walked over to his bed and sat down. Dreams, but what kind of dream could make Teakany so upset. He looked under his bed and saw the snake skin boots. He picked them up. I really love these boots, got them from my sister before I left...but if there making them uncomfortable, I mean I know the look on Teakany's face when I pulled them out but... A tear swelled up in his eye which he hid from the other two. He took the boots and opened the garbage. "Goodbye"
Asenka felt cold when he let go of her. She wiped the tears enough from her eyes enough to see Khodac dropping something in the trash. She had forgotten to read these particular thoughts.. She watched him go back and sit on his bed as he wiped a tear from his eye. Her eyes swelled up with tears and she nearly burst out crying. But she didn't. She just stood up and walked over to him. She sat next to him and hugged him. "It's going to be ok.." she said. "It's my turn to comfort you now.." she whispered a few moments later.
He smiled. "I'm ok, it's just that I didn't want Teakany to be upset anymore...". He looked at the clock which hung on the wall. 2:07. "I better go to sleep though" he said giving her a big hug. "Night"
teakany sighed she knew what he had done. get those bloody god damn things out of the trash before i get up and do it myself and i'd rather not thanks. she was scared of the boots but if she let every that scared her get distoried they would be no world left. nothing ...
Asenka sighed and decided she better get some sleep too. She looked over at Teakany. "So.." she said grinning widely. "How was the rain?"
Khodac rolled over on his bed. He snored peacefully for a few minutes until he too had a dream. *** The dorm was dark. He was sleeping on his bed. Teakany watched over him with an evil glare. She took the snake skin boots and threw them at his head. He woke up cursing. She was standing over him with a bloodied knife. His first thought, Asenka. He woke up in cold sweat. *** He looked around, Asenka was sleeping and so was Teakany. He looked at the clock. 5:05 am. Good. It was just a dream. He rolled over again and closed his eyes.
teakany had gotten frusterated that no one lisined to her and went and got the boots her self. she hated touching them. she placed them beside him bed and went to go to sleep.
Khodac woke up early in the morning. He checked the clock. 10:13. No one was up yet. He went into the kitchen and decided to make some coffee and breakfast. He took out a frying pan and some eggs and bacon out of the fridge. As he was making the coffee he began frying the bacon and eggs.
teakany woke up and streched. she smiled and looked at the clock her smiled faded it was 10:15!! she had slept in. she got out of bed went into the kichten and mubbled goodmorning khodac. he hair was probly a desater. she poured a glassof milk and got her self some fruit. she went back to her bed and ate it happly.
Asenka could smell bacon and eggs, but she just rolled over. She was so tired, but hungry too. After a few minutes, she couldn't stand the auroma anymore. She threw her feet over the bed and wondered into the kitchen. " 'Morning.." she said sleeply not to anymore paticular, just whoever may have heard. She poured herself some coffee and sat down at the kitchen table. She took a long drink and looked up at Khodac. "So" she yawned, "how'd you sleep?". Asenka cracked her knuckles and took another drink of her coffee.
He smiled. "Pretty good, I had the strangest dream in the middle of the night though, and the next morning my boots were out of the garbage" . He finished cooking the food and put some on a plate for Asenka, Teakany and himself, then sat down at the table.
Asenka looked down at her food as she ate and cracked a smile. She sent Teakany a message."That was good of you Teakany.. I'm sure it made him happy." She looked up at Khodac with a mock look of surprise on her face. "Really that's weird. Hope your dream was nice though." Saying that made Asenka think of her dream with Teakany dead on the ground. She shook her head in an attempt to get the images out of her head.
