1. The Beast took a step back from the incoming fire, but then charged forward and opened his mouth. The Fire was inhaled, and soon dissapeared down the Beast's throat. The Beast kept charging, but suddenly stopped, and fell forwards, to crash at Del's feet. It groaned, and It's belly started to dimly glow red... It roared one last time, and the fire came back up through the open mouth...

2. "Allright. Do you know where the nearest town is?" she asked, adjusting her grip on Thi. She looked back at Del and the beast, a surprised look filling her eyes. "What the...?" She was confused, watching the beast just fall at Del's feet.It can't be it... That thing was just thriving. Did that fire really work? She too, was getting nervous, but was a little reassured by the beasts hinderance.

3. No I have no idea, the question more is something like do you know a healer? We can't leave Del here and go all the way to a town...he could..

Xela stopped shuddering she looked around and back at the beast it seemed that he couldn't fly so they might be able to take her somewhere high for the moment. She looked aroung and saw a high ledge with a cave leading into the mountain. She explained her idea to the other 'dragon and then together they brought Thi to the cave. Xela layed down Thi's body slowly and stepped from the cave mumbling a few words before a gel material filled the entrance to the cave. She quickly explained to the other dragon

This will keep things from getting in though Thi can get out. Stay here and watch Del and Thi for me I might be able to find a healer don't worry and no matter what don't come after me.

4. The beast growled and it's tongue lolled out of it's mouth like a dog panting, and then it's ears perked, and it slowly got up. It crashed through the trees to a nearby stream and gorged itself with water. Revived and it's lust for blood even more now, it charged back towards the others and went straight for Del. It opened it's mouth wide and just before crushing him, it swallowed Del whole, to land amongst the ton of water and mutilated bodies of previous prey inside the Beast's stomach. The Beast burped loudly and started stomping towards the remaining three...

5. Xela raced back she had used her powers to call to an old friend, Bri. Bri was a journeyman in healing would be usefull in their predicament. The minute Bri got the call she flew off and got to Xela in about fifteen minutes for luckily she had been nearby. The two of them made it back to the cave and Bri immediatly go to work on Thi. She knelt by the injured 'dragon. Bri used her inner sight to look inside Thi's body, she saw a tiny flame of life, slowly diminishing as Thi's life slowly faded. It took about five minutes for Bri to attach the bones inside Thi's body that had been broken and mentally sew up the large gashes all over. When she finished and stood sweating after trying hard to make Thi feel better she spoke to Xela and the other 'dragon

She should be perfectly fine now... unless I came to late but usually they survive. She'll be able to do normal things in about half an hour. I'll stay to help out with the...

Bri stopped there slowly coming closer and closer to the foot of the cliff the beast stood it seemed as though the thing was actually druling. Xela screamed when she realized that Del was no where to be seen. Had the creature really devoured Del?

6. Thi lay on the floor, sleeping. Her eyes closed against the intruding light, her breath, seeming not to come. She opened one eye a tiny bit as she felt her bones coming together to form. When she heard Xela's scream she opened her eyes only slightly and whispered Del?

7. Bri looked tenderly down at Thi, poor thing, she thought. The poor 'dragon had risked her life on love...or at least it seemed to be the reason.

Thi, I'm Bri, nice to meet you...you need to try and stay calm ok we're not sure whether or not Del is ok but... don't worry alright?

8. The Beast got closer, and sniffed, the blood of... Something... Dripping from his grotesque tusks and fangs. Luckily for Del, the ammount of water in his stomach delayed the acid from burning him alive, but how much longer it would delay was uncertain... The Beast stuck a claw into the cave, gripping pebbles and soil, trying to reach the three. The Beast roared, and pulled his hand out. Seconds later, the Beast's head emerged into the cave, and opened wide, revealing what seemed like hundreds of teeth, along with an odour that smelled of rotting flesh...

9. Bad move beastie, Del thought as he was swallowed.
He reached into his backpack, pulling out a large bottle,
One serious stomach ache, coming up, VIA one razor sharp dagger,

Del yanked the dagger from his belt, and began carving a way out of the beast, melting his dagger blade in the process,

10. The Beast groaned, and fell over as Del emerged from his stomach. When Del was out of the wound, dark energy started swarming around the spot, concealing it with a purple haze. The dark energy lingered for awhile, and then dissapated, leaving only a scar of the grotesque opening in the skin. The Beast got up, slightly drained of dark energy, and more suceptable to light energy attacks now, but resumed his clawing at the cave, trying to grab those inside. He might have lost control, but he was still smart enough to learn not to eat his prey whole. The Beast grew frustrated with not being able to reach, and soon vanished from the sight of those inside. Maybe it was bored, or maybe it was a trap...

11. Xela and Bri didn't dare look over the side as the clawing suddenly stopped. they grew nervous but remebered Del and called to him from their cave. They hoped he could get into the cave easily otherwise Bri or Xela would get him and fix his wounds if he had any.

12. Thi wandered on over to the cave entrance. she whispered softly Del.... and looked over the side and down at Del, wondering if he was alright.

13. Xela looked down at Thi and then raised her wings flying to Del, knowing that he could need her help.

Are you all right?

Xela realized that Thi had feelings for Del, or it really seemed that way. she smiled at the thought.

14. Xela looked around nervously her eyes darting from side to side. Her wings flapping trying to break the silence. Bri sat next to Thi comforting her watching Xela as calmly as she could. Though deep inside, Bri was very nervous. Xela padded a few more steps closer top where the beast had gone her ears strained to pick up every sound though she could possibly miss a few of the sounds, even if this sound was the most vital of all.

15. The Beast slowly eased down the branch silently, untill it was only a few feet from her head, hanging with it's mouth open. Too bad that it's newest mutation gave it a jaw defect, and the three rows of razor sharp teeth prevented it's mouth from closing correctly, because a large drop of drool slid from it's jaw to land on her shoulder, giving his position away. The Beast roared, the soundwaves slamming her to the ground. Unfortunately for the beast, the soundwaves rebounded just as it was about to swipe at her, and it flinched as it swung, making the attack send her flying back into the cave in a shower of dirt and rock. It fell from the branch then, and quickly regained it's bearings, now charging at the cave entrance again, all three rows of teeth bared and gleaming yellow in the moonlight...

16. Thi sat near 'Del, she herself still wounded. Del and herself were sitting somewhat near the bottom of the cliff that the cave was located on.

17. Uuugh, Del groaned, opening his eyes,
Jeez, thats one thing i won't do again...
he sat up suddenly,
Where it it!? Del said, trying to stand, and collapsing against the cliff,
Acid, Del said, cradling his left leg,
I'll manage, He muttered angrily, standing up successfully this time,
Thi, you're still hurt, what are you doing out here? you should be in the cave there, I can walk, lets get back into that cave, he said, testing his wings a bit,
Come on, Del huffed, scooping Thi up and flapping his wings as hard as possible,

18. The Beast was quickly closing the gap, and snapped it's jaws at Del and Thi, just as they flew out of range within the cave. I'll kill you all! I'll devour your souls along with your flesh! The Beast screamed at them, still clawing as far as it could towards them. It knew it had lost the element of surprise, and the only way to get them now was to somehow reach them or flush them out. It suddenly had an idea, and backed away from the entrance, still clearly in view. AHAHAHA! You pitiful mortals might be able to fit into small places, like rodents... But even rodents need to breathe... It said, and it's muscles convulsed, puring a cloud of purplish black dark energy towards the cave entrance. The cloud drifted lazily around, entering the cave and the surrounding forest, and animals were soon dropping out of the trees from the unatural poison. The cloud would soon reach them, and The Beast was still pumping out more and more dark energy, suffocating the entire area. Even the trees withered and died where they stood, and there was soon a lrage circle of death clearly visible from the air. The Beast's back suddenly split open and a pair of tattered, leathery wings sprouted, and The Beast used them to fan the haze towards the cave. It doubted any of them could hold their breath for long...

19. Thi collapsed against Del's chest in releif as he woke up. She held him tightly as he flew them to the cave. As the beast pumped poison into the cave. She tried to hold her breath as she sobbed in releif and grasped Del's body.

20. Xela felt the drool drop onto her shoulder and then suddenly she was slammed into the cave by Bri. She looked up and saw the beast heading towards them, as well as a thick cloud of acid. Bri pulled Xela to her paws and they waited for Del and Thi. Bri opened her large wings and began to push the posion with the wind gusts from her wings so that the other would have a little more time to figure out what to do.

As Bri flapped her overlarge wings she noticed and felt the faint smell of something burning and realized her beautiful golden wing feathers were being singed by the sulfuric cloud. She shrieked but kept going.

Xela looked at This and Del and then said

What should we do? BRi can't hold the cloud of for very long!
