Muerrin quietly whimpered in self-pity as another bullet hit the pavement with a powerful cracking sound. This wasn't the life she'd signed up for at Janardan Academy! She watched in horror as a gang of well-armed thugs approached ominously, shadows lined up across the street like a fence. They grouped a few meters away, and as Muerrin stood frozen, some negotiations found their leader dead with a bullet through his face and Dom hitting the street hard, running into a dark alley. Relief flooded through her body as the gang followed, leaving the remaining three pendragons in the now-empty lane. When the other femme then demanded "Come on," Muerrin had no trouble moving her legs enough to follow.
Amano remained silent looking on at the whole scene with the elder 'dragon and up coming gang. Despite the numbers he was faced with the old fool took them all on causing a barrage of gunfire to follow after him. Amano shook his head feeling that he didn't owe that pendragon nothing except for an ass whippin for holding a gun in his face. Several thoughts ran through his mind at the moment of the gang members brusting off after the elder 'dragon. He could only shake his head at them as the two females walked off away from the area leaving him behind a bit before he decided to follow. While walking he came up along side Muerrin then reached out his red paw placing it on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" He questioned her gazing into her direction with white pupiled, black eyes.

She was quite surprised that they did. She smirked and shook her head slightly. She ran along them for a few moments, keeping at her own pace. She didn't really care about herself right now. She pinned her ears and narrowed gaze. She looked to Muerrin. "So what were you doing in a town like this?" She questioned.</span>
Muerrin nodded gratefully at Amano's kind gesture, feeling the warmth from his paw seeping into her aching shoulder. His curious eyes troubled her (What a strange mutation, the geneticist in her thought), but she let on no sign. "No, I'm not alright, clearly," she said with an ironic smile, "but I'll be fine. Thank you for asking." To Rogue's question, which was fair but a bit nosy, she simply replied, "I was buying Erythroxylon coca plant for research." She was silently pleased that she'd become calm enough to pronounce the shrub's name, but wasn't exactly in the mood for talking, at the moment.
Dom leaped up the fire escape as another stray bullet pierced his thigh. He struggled on and after spinning around and firing twice, two more gang members fell to the ground with bullets centered between their eyes. The gang snarled even more and chased up after him, until the chase was along the rooftops. He leaped from building to building, getting shot several more times as he ran. Soon he fell, and sat against the edge, with a single gang member left, pointing a shotgun against his chest...
<span style='color:gray'>She tilted her head and nodded slowly. "Heh research? Sounds interesting." She replied as she padded along side of them. She jerked her head and remain frozen as her gaze traveled. She pinned her ears and narrowed her gaze. She growled lowly and with a flick of her ears, a barrel formed around Dom. She snorted and turned away as she padded back along side of Muerrin.</span>
