Drak noticed a Pendragon dive deeper under the water and she seemed to be gone a while. He dived into the water and saw the Pendragon go deeper. He followed her, out of curiosity, and saw an underwater cave. A cave in a stream?... Interesting... Drak came up for air, and quickly hurried down, following the other 'Dragon, hoping there was something to explore down there...
Lyra dove back down to have a better look at the cave. It is different to see one in a stream. She then looked behind her and saw that one of the other ‘dragons were following her. She swam up next to it and stuck her head in the entrance. It looked big enough to have room for her to get in. She wasn’t certain if there was some where to get to air in it, but her curiosity got the best of her. She took on final look back before swimming in thinking that she would have enough air to make it back out in time if there was no where to get air in the cave.

Adathiel noticed two pendragons go beneath the surface of the small river. When they didn't come back up, curiousity and a little alarm broke over her. Relinquishing the empty nut shell to the water's current, she swam t'ward the area in which they'd gone under. Her lavender oculars dipped beneath the surface, and viewed them entering a crepuscular expanse. Could that be a cave? The little cobalt painted pendragon raised her head above the surface and grasped two lungfuls o' air. A graceful dive sent her hurtling through the water t'ward the cave, and wings only increased her speed. As she approached Drak, she passed him, twirling in the water with a gleeful grin. She followed Lyra into the entrance, hoping it would lead to an air pocket. She passed Lyra as well, helped along by her streamlined wings. A short distance later she broke the surface and breathed in stale air, giving her cramped lungs what the desired. She held herself above the surface with flapping wings, and waited for Drak and Lyra to catch up. {OOC: Sorry it took me so long to reply ><}

Lyra saw Adathiel swim by her and go into the cave. She used her wings to got a burst of speed to keep up. She was glad for the air went she broke threw the surface of the water. She look at short rest before looking around, she was rocks sticking out her and there. She realized that she would have to be careful not to hit any thing. She also saw some caves leading away from the one they were in. It must be a whole under water system of tunnels. “What do you think this place is?" She asked. She swam around a little getting use to her surroundings and her eyes getting use to the dark. Then remember that there was another pendragon who had started to follow her before. She looked around for him.
Drak saw as another Pendragon swam gracefully past him and eventually even went ahead of the first Pendragon to go underwater. As he got closer to the cave, Drak felt like his breath was going to deplete soon. He hurried a little more and entered the opening that the other two Pendragons had passed through. He finally reached the surface in the cave and took at deep breath. There were several paths branching off from this area. He looked about and saw the two Pendragons who had arrived before him. "Hi, I don't think we've met," Drak said, "My name's Drak. How did you find this cave anyway? I would have never looked for a cave in a river."
Lyra saw the other ‘dragon surface in the cave. “Hello Drak, my name is Lyra." She swam back to the others. “That a weird story. First I saw a segan in the water and I tough it weird to see one in the day so I followed it. It went into this cave then disappeared. This cave’s must go on for miles. Well I never would have tough of looking for a cave in a river but I guess thing just happened. The river was probably a really quit place before we came and there a probably lots of animals who have made a home in here." Lyra decided to stop taking and wait to hear what they think about it.

Character:: Adathiel Telepathy:: { Italics and seperators. } Speech:: "Bold and quotations." Thoughts:: Italics
The tiny feline-like pendragon smiled as first Lyra, and then Drak rose up through the surface of the water near her. She listened intently to Lyra's story, auditives turned alertly t'ward the other female. She accepted it, since there didn't seem to be a better reason. Of course, it was quite odd that there was a cave in a river. And this river wasn't even that big. It was just a water path branded into the center of the jungle. It was also odd, how Adathiel had never found it before. She had been living here in the jungle for over a year, and had taken almost daily trips to the river. With a dainty shrug, she pushed it off to the side of her mind. It didn't matter to her how it got there. No matter how it came to be, it was here now, and that was all that mattered to the young 'dragon. She did have a small opinion, and since she wasn't as timid as she had been when she had run away from home, she decided to try it out on the other two. "Just seems like an underground cave to me. The water probably bored slowly into the bank, leaving this cave, and those tunnels." She blinked at them, and then grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Adathiel. O' course, Lyra already knew that.."

Lyra nodded at what Adathiel had said. “Ya, that would make more sense." She looked out at one of the tunnels wondering how far it could go. Then also got the idea that maybe the tunnels were dug from somewhere else to here.No, that wouldn’t make sense She tough and pushed it out of her mind. “Should we look around or would it not be to safe?" Lyra asked not really knowing what was out there.
Nice to meet you both, said Drak, "as for exploring, I suppose we should. I didn't come here to just look at the inside of a cave. Of course, it will probably be dangerous, but I think three Pendragons can handle themselves more or less, dont you think?" Drak felt water drip from the ceiling, and observed the place more closely by using the fire on his tail. It was somewhat dark, but faintly illuminated by the reflection of light from the water outside. "So, what do you say, should we go?" Drak queried.

Thoughts::[/b] Italics
The small pendragon peered into the dark cave with eyes that seemed to glow in the dim light. A slow smile of excitement crossed her visage, wondering what treasures, or possible horrors, could be hidden within the ever-flickering darkness. The thought of terrifying sights caused a thrilling shiver to run down her spine. This new eagerness for an adventure, even danger, made Adathiel thoughtful. Never before had she wanted to take risks, or an adventure. What had changed? My life. she realized. My whole life has changed. First, dramatically a year ago, and then gradually. The fear I've felt for Father has dimmed, allowing other emotions to take its place. She seemed to be learning new things about herself at every turn. Just now she had learned that she was very perceptive. Or maybe it was just the cave's effect on her. With a graceful shrug, she forgot these thoughts for the time-being. Turning around to face Drak and Lyra, she smiled brightly. "I say we go!"[/b] she told them, excitement shining through her words. "You'd better lead, what with that bright light hanging on the end of your tail and all." she told Drak, grinning playfully. With a thoughtful look, she swam neatly t'ward one of the tunnels, and stretched a paw down cautiously. It touched a shallow sandy bottom that must have been left from the rock that had been here previously. Setting down on all feet, she turned around again. "There's a sandy bottom here that even I can reach. It shouldn't make it too difficult to explore, but watch out for air bubbles. They make deep holes in the sand that are hard to get out of. You two should watch out for dips in the ceiling, or you'll probably bump your head on something."[/b] she added. Those were all the warnings she could think of at the moment, and she stepped off the sandy ledge that led into the tunnel, so Drak could lead. Adathiel would have been happy to lead, but her night vision wasn't so great, and with only the dim light on Drak's tail, she wouldn't be a good leader.

Lyra didn’t know what had come over her but she also wanted to go explore the caves. It was new and different to her after spending all her life training. “I’m right behind you." She said with a smile while swimming to where Adathiel had gone and stepping down on the sand. She wasn’t that small so she just fit when she stood up with her wings tight to her sides. "Ya, it would probably be best if you lead Drak, it gets pretty dark." She looked back at him then back into the darkness. "What do you think is out there?" She asked no one in particular. She herself having no idea what they might find.
OOC: sorry i took so long >.< Drak agreed, "Yeah, I'll go first, but my tail flame isn't that bright... but at least it's something." With that he hurried to the front and put his tail light out in front so that he could see the walls and the places where the were to turn. There was ground the whole time, but the further Drak got, the deeper the water became. Soon Drak was up to his waste in water and he turned back to the two other pendragons to make sure he didn't lose them. Then they got to an intersection, one which lead out of the water, and one which lead into deeper water. Drak stepped into the deeper area, and looked around. "It looks like it's getting deep pretty quick... wanna go this way or the other way out of the water?" No sooner had Drak said this than he was pulled under water. Bewildered and confused, Drak calmed himself down, and looked that what had grabbed him. A huge Cruork was holding on to his leg, and Drak almost died of shock. He had only seen one picture of one, and even then he thought it was fake, but there was no mistaking it. He had never seen a beast like this, and he could only barely see it by the use of the tail's flame. Drak extended his paw out to the surface of the water for help, hoping that the other Pendragon's could help him escape and they could get out of there.

Thoughts:: Italics.
Adathiel was about to reply to Drak's inquiry when she saw him being pulled under water. His paw scraped the surface, a plea for help, before dragged back under again. Her lilac eyes grew wide and fear grew in her. What kind of marine animal was big enough to drag a full grown pendragon beneath the water. Suddenly she wished she hadn't pushed Drak to be the first in line. Drawing a deep breath, the pale-blue female shoved her head under the water, not a difficult task in the deep water. Her eyes widened to their limit when she saw what had Drak in its grasp. She wasn't sure what it was, but it was big, and it looked mean. Raising herself above the water for another breath, she raced t'ward the creature, using wings and paws for speed. She avoided its gaze and swam to its dorsal fin. Sharp fangs and claws sank into the fin in a desperate attempt to make it let go of Drak. Bloody scratches adorned the creature's fin, and her teeth dug deeper, tearing through the skin and muscle tissue. Air was becoming scarce, but her determination wiped out the panic and body signals. Even if she went up for air now, the angry creature would be able to see her and attack. Either way, she would lose her life unless someone intercessed on her part.

Lyra stood and waited for Drak to go forward, when he was a little further ahead he was pulled under by something. She was first hit my shock for a second then remembering all her training she was able to think again. Â She dove under the water that seem to have gotten deeper in front of them. She had a hard time seeing. What she could clearly see though was Drak and Adathiel being pulled around by something that seem to be pretty big. She used her big black wings to get a burst of speed and shoot towards the creature. Â Â She tried to hit it some where around the face of the creature but wasnÂ’t really sure, in hope that it would loosen it grip. She sort of bounced off it in the end. She went up for air and back down as fast and possible. She went at it with her teeth and claws out in front of her. Â Â She tried to dig on in it skin with her claws. She saw some blood in the water and went back up for air. She looked around in a state of panic while looking to see if the other had gotten away.

Blurred orbs followed Lyra's movement slowly. White spots kept moving across her vision, and Adathiel knew she was close to passing out. As Lyra swam t'ward the creature's head, the cobalt painted female pried her jaws loose from its dorsal fin and headed to the surface. Tired and oxygen deprived muscles protested as she moved her legs and wings in a desperate attempt to reach air. No longer were her movements quick and lithe, but now slow and languid. A paw struck air, and Adathiel's cranium followed suit, pulling in the air desperately. With all her body concentrated on pulling in air, she fell under the water again, and rose back up, sputtering and coughing. Pillars propelled her to a sand bank where she crouched, breathing gratefully. Her exhausted body collapsed in the shallows, making her forget Drak and Lyra's peril for a moment. She turned her head and watched, hoped, and prayed for them both to come to the surface alive. Simultaneously, she mentally kicked herself for acting so rashly, for not rationing her energy.
