"I'm not sure, a little after noon I guess," Drak said. He wasn't really sure what time his last class had ended, so he could only guess the time. It seemed as if Diable needed to go to a class soon, but Drak didn't want to ask him so he wouldn't seem nosy. Hopefully Diable didn't have to leave when they had just met.
"Alright. Thanks. I have a class in an hour then." He lounged on the tree and said, "I need to eat lunch. I'm going to my locker, but I'll be right back." Diable jumped off the tree and ambled lazily for the doors that led inside.
Nafel, tagged, twists in the the air, turning in a summersault so that she's pointing up, and takes off. She shots narrowly past the tree. Looking for Nae, she sees her about 10 feet up and 20 feet away. She takes off after her. She comes up from behind and tags the tip of her draconian wing. "You're it!
...Or so she thought. Naedalya wasn't about to let herself be tagged just yet. As Nafel closed in on her and reached for her wing, Nae literally let herself free-fall by closing her wings slightly. With Nafel out of the way, Nae took flight once again in mid-air and flew away from underneath Nafel. "You missed me!!" she added, and then spun into a loop. She was now flying back toward Nafel. "But here, I'll make it easier on you." She reduced her flight to a lazy glide, still flying straight into Nafel's direction. She readied herself, closing in quickly. At the last second, instead of free-falling, she brought herself up with one enormous push of her wings, and immediately zigzagged away from above Nafel. But Nae was quite aware that Nafel's going to be on her tail quite soon.
As Diable went to get his lunch, Drak took this time to look over his notes some more. He then realized he was a little hungry as well, and took out his lunch from the bag he was carrying and munched on it silently. As crumbs fell over his books and papers, he looked back at the doors that Diable had entered, checking to see if he was back yet. At that moment, he remembered Nae. Did Nae go to this school too? If so, Drak decided he might as well give her a visit as well.
Diable walked back out of the school gingerly with his bag on his back. He returned to the tree where Drak was also eating his lunch and sat across from him, in the sun. Pulling some books and his lunch from his bag, he set his bag beside him, one textbook in his lap and his lunch, a hastily prepared chunk of semi-raw meat stuck between bread, in his right pand. He took a bite, and found the page he was last at and began reading, munching on his lunch slowly, his eyes gazing back and forth across the page. He was reading some book about poisons or something.
Nafel does another midair summersault, shooting after Nae. Grinning, she reaches out with a final push of her wings and taps the tip of Nae's tail. "I gotchya now!" she immediatly veers downward, gliding close to the ground and zigzagging among the trunks, her small size giving her an advantage.
As Drak scarfed on his lunch, he noticed Diable making his way back to the tree. He had just finished gulping down the remainder of his meal when Diable sat down. Drak pulled out a book he had gotten from the library, and opened it to a page that decribed several healing spells and tips on how to endure several spells at once before becoming exhausted. After Diable had situated himself, and started reading a book, Drak decided he should ask about Nae. "Hey Diable," Drak said, "Does Nae happen to go to this school too? It's been a while since I've seen her as well."
Feeling, on the tip of her tail, Nafel's swipe, she immediately twirls around, diving for the ground. Her long, streamlined form got her back right behind Nafel in no time, keeping her paws close to her body since Nafel had come so near the ground. She kept her wings slightly folded as she zigzagged between the trees, and closed in on Nafel once again. The cluster of trees ended, and they were once again flying in an open area. Now, Nae picked up speed, and from right above Nafel, she swiped a paw at her shoulder. "Tag!" She stopped in midair, then twirled upwards, keeping her eye on Nafel. --- "She sure does. I wonder where she is right now.." But his question was answered as Diable noticed her zigzagging in between trees, pursuing another Pendragon. "There she is right now," he said, pointing, taking another bite of his sandwich.
Drak looked at the flying figures swerving and dodging past one another. He thought that he recognized one of them as Nae, but it was kind of hard to tell due to the distance and they were like blurs than anything. He did not want to disturb Nae, so he decided that he would search for her some other time in school. No point in disturbing the apparent fun she was having. "So, what have you been up to since you left Ajita?" asked Drak, trying to pass the time until his next class.
"Well, Naedalya and I signed up for classes since then..today's our first day. And you?" He turned a page in his book, returning attention to it, but keeping his attention at Drak as well.
Just as Nae was about to tag her, Nafel twists out of the way, missing her paw by a hair. In consequence, she stubs her toe on the tree. "Didn't catch me!" she cries. The stree wound doesn't seem to harm her much, as she goes shooting up and too the right, where her small size gives her an advantage among the treetops.
"Well, I haven't been to Ajita since then..." Drak said, remembering what had transpired and looked down at where Tagryan had slashed him, which was now fully healed and he had no scar, "I transferred to Janardan from another school I was going to before, so I haven't been here very long either. So, what classes are you taking? I'm only taking Ramathian and Healing, so I have lots free time until I decide to take another class."
Naedalya followed Nafel into the treetops. All the dry twigs hit her face and wings violently, so instead, she flew right above the branches, hoping Nafel is unaware of her location because her field of vision probably didn't extend this far back. In practically no time at all, she was flying above her back, so she reached out, put her paw through the twigs, and swiped Nafel's back. "Gotcha!" --- "Oh, that's interesting. Actually, Naedalya and I took the same classes. We both decided on extending our Aerobatics knowledge, so we took that, along with fighting and poisons."
"I should have taken fighting too now that I think about it," said Drak, "I need some sort of defense besides magic. Maybe I'll enroll in a fighting class later on. Anyway, how much longer are you planning to stay in school?"
Nafel feels the touch on her back and realises that she won't be able to fly up. She clears the twigs with no problem, but she loses time. After clearing the tree, she soars up. She approaches Nae from behind, she's still in open air. She tries not to make any sound, lest her shadow be noticed. She reaches out and nearly grabs Nae's tail, but misses.
"The fighting class is quite a good workout, I'd suggest it. Hm..I think I'll be staying here for a while. What else could I be doing?" Diable turned to look at the clock on the wall above the entrance. He still had 15 minutes. He completed reading a chapter on poisons, and put the book back into his bag. --- Naedalya saw Nafel coming up behind her and had moved her tail just in time. "Woah..good one," she said between her fast breaths, "You almost had me there." She then took a steep dive for the ground, barely missing a collision with Nafel. She then zigzagged back upwards, now finding herself behind Nafel, keeping her distance.
Nafel does a neat summersault in the air, ending in a direction facing Nae. She taps her head and immediatly soars down in a deep dive. She comes up at the last minute at yells "Your turn!" She makes a pinpoint turn and starts flying up, but still behind Nae. She nearly hits the building, and begins to fly in front of Nae to avoid collision.
Out of Character Just one thing that I've been warned about in the past. You aren't allowed to powerplay or godmode. In this case, it isn't much at all, but just so you know, you can't decide what happens to the other person's character - in this case, Nafel tapping Naedalya on the head without giving her the chance to dodge.. You can write attempted or tried before these actions so that the other player can decided if they want the other character to inflict something on their own. But I'll take it for the last time. Thanks a lot. I'm just bringing this up because I was warned about this too, but by a moderator, and I don't want it to happen to you too. ^^; Back in Character With Nafel now in front of her, Nae lunged at her, once again zigzagging behind her, this time, her arms extended, reaching for Nafel. As they passed the building, she was pretty shocked to see the lunch hour almost over. With a final burst of energy, she picked up ever more speed and dove for Nafel, swiping at her back.
OOC // Thanks! Sorry, I didn't remember >.< BIC // Nafel twists, but not fast enough. She is barely swiped on the shoulder blade, but touched nontheless. She yells "I'm gonna get you!" and swoops around to see the clock. She doesn't have much time left, and calling to Nae, she asks "Hey, my lunch hour is almost up! Do you want to stop playing, I've gotta go in soon?" she hovers, waiting for a reply.
