Eka thought about cards for a minute, it could work; she would just have to do a quick clean job. She got up from the desk and removed the many different objects that where sitting around taking up room. Most where either put under the desk or on the top of shelves.
<span style='color:green'>“I think there should be enough room for us here."</span>

She then pulled up another chair so that there were three chairs around the table, enough for the three of them. <span style='color:green'>“Do you guys know any good games?"</span> She looked at the other two, she hadn’t played card for a long time and she would have to rack her memory to try and remember some old games.

  2. Tesreail hauled himself to his feet. "Uhm, I know a few card games, but just stuff like War, Go Fish, Crazy Eights; things like that." He grabbed a chair and plonked down into it. "It's been a while since I've had time to play, but I think I can remember most of the rules to them."

He leaned back in the chair, and smiled widely at the other to 'dragons. It was awesome to have someone to talk to for once, even better to be hanging out with a couple of people who were actually nice to him.

"So do either of you have any other family here at the academy?" he said, "Besides Hiei anyways." He added, looking to Kailea.

<table class=ooc><tr><td> sry i didnt have time too.. and i wanted to post cuz everyone was waiting for me so.. sry.. </td></tr></table>

Kailea looked up and jumped of the bed. she walked over to the table. she streched and yawned. she looked up at the other two and shrugged. <span style='color:gray'>i know the game he knows. i dont know many more.</span> kailea shrugged. <span style='color:gray'>and i dont have any other family besides Hiei. </span> she said shaking her head.

  4. Eka shook her head.<span style='color:green'>“No, no other family."</span> She did have friends here though, they made her feel happy. They took the place of her family when she was here.

She took a seat at the table. She thought about the games Tes had said.<span style='color:green'>IÂ’ve heard of two of those but not War. How do you play that?"</span>

She had never heard that as a game and she hoped it wasnÂ’t anything violent. But then again what could you do to hurt someone with a deck of cards?

  5. Tesreail blinked. He was slightly surprised that she didn't know how to play, but he kept it to himself. "War is a pretty easy game to play. You shuffle the deck, then deal everyone an equal number of cards, or has close to even as you can get. You don't look at the cards you get, or show anyone else."

He paused for a moment to catch his breath before continuing. "You shuffle the hand you were delt, then place your pile face down infront of you. Everyone takes one card at the same time and flips it over so the value shows. The player with the hight value card gets to take the other person's cards. The object of the game is to win all of the other player's cards."

"Interested in playing it?" he asked, fiddling with one of his necklaces.

  6. Kailea nodded in agreement with Tesreail. <span style='color:gray'>and the first person out of cards loses. then the others play and the person in the end with all the cards wins</span> she thought if there were any more rules. <span style='color:gray'>its alot like real war...</span> she said realising it. she shook her head and tryed to push bad memories from her mind. Kailea looked at the other two. <span style='color:gray'>would you like to play? or play something else?</span> she asked. she didn't care what they played as long as it would take away her worry of what her brother would say when he found out she skipped a class... not for the first time that is..

  7. Eka nodded taking in all the rules, it seemed fairly simple, yet all based on luck. It didn’t really seem like you needed any type of ‘smart’ way to be good at it. But she was interested.
    <span style='color:green'>“Sure I’ll play. If that’s okay with you two."</span>

She looked over at Kailea who had brought the cards out, thinking that she would be the one to deal them out. She was pretty sure that she knew all the rules, but then her mind got thinking.
<span style='color:green'>“What happens if two ‘dragons have the same card?"</span>

To her it seem like a fairly well thought out question.

  8. "I'd love to play, it's been forever since I played it," said Tesreail, "Usually I'm stuck playing Solitaire or crap like that." Tes continued to mess around with his jewelry, he was starting to feel shy again, his temporairy burst of courage was beginning to wear off.

"Uh, the two 'dragon's with the same card place three cards face down infront of them, then pull another from their hand, and flip it. Whoever wins that round gets all the cards that were placed down." Tes said, glancing at the door out of the corner of his good eye.

  9. kailea nodded. <span style='color:gray'>yeah.. so the highest card is the ace. </span> kailea shuffled the cards and dealt out the cards. one had an extra card but that was ok. she took her pile and put them infront of her. She took the first card and waited for the others. <span style='color:gray'>this is going to be realy fun</span> she thought. kailea thought about what her brother would say when he found out she missed class. She shook her head and tryed not to think about it.

    <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry for the wait. DidnÂ’t see the replies.</td></tr></table>

Eka nodded taking in the rest of the rules. It all made sense in her head. She pick on the small deck in front of her as she saw Kailea do. Using her other paw she pushed some hair out of the way of her eyes. If she couldnÂ’t see the other cards it would be a bother. She didnÂ’t notice Tes looking at the door.

She then reached over and picked up the card on top of her deck. Took it between her figures and placed it face down in front of her. She frowned seeing that it was only a four. She was pretty sure that either of them would pull a higher card out of there deck. She looked over at the other too, waiting.

  11. Tesreail hunkered down in his chair. Drawing his knees up to his chest and resting his feet on the edge of his chair. Meticulously lineing his cards up into a neat pile. He placed his pile of cards infront of him, and took the top one. He groaned softly,

"Damnit..." he whispered, placing his card face up infront of him. Hopefully he his luck wouldn't be like this the whole time, or he was screwed...

"Your move." he muttered to Kailea. Tes could feel a small wave of paranoia and fear building up in his gut, but he wasn't sure if it was from the card he drew, or the situation. He picked at a tiny stain on the desk, staring down at his pile of cards, silently willing them to be higher than two's. His eye slowly migrated back to the door. How mad would they be if he left now? Would they be mad at all? He mentally kicked himself. He had gotten this far, he just had to calm himself down.

  12. kailea put her pile infront of her and drew a card. she looked at it and layed it down. it was a three. she shrugged. she smiled at Eka. <span style='color:gray'> oh you win. this round. </span> she chuckled and pushed the three cards towards Eka. she blew her hair from her face and flicked her tail. <span style='color:gray'>its good to play cards again. my brother never has time...</span> she smiled and sighed. she looked at the other and waited for the next turn.

  13. Eka was really surprised when she saw they both had a card lower then hers, she smiled. Then pulled the cards towards her, she then realized she didn’t know what to do with them. <span style='color:green'>“Do I add these to my deck or do I put them in a different pile?"</span>

Not wanting to slow the game down any bit she drew the next card that was now on top of her starting and placed it down in front of her. Her smile stayed as she looked down at an eight. Maybe her luck was changing.

  14. "Put them aside for now, you'll pick 'em up later." Tesreail sniffed and drew his next card. He slowly flipped his card face up, peeking carefully at the value. He breathed a small sigh of releif and tossed the card into the middle.

"Ten." he said simply, idly picking the table again. Unable to contain himself, he carefully turned up the corner of the next card in his pile, curious to what the value was. He smiled dispite himself when he saw what it was. He cautiously glanced at the other players, hopeing he hadn't be seen.

  15. Kailea sighed and peeked the corner of her card up so she could see it. she smield and put her card down. she pointed to Tes.. <span style='color:gray'>WAR!! haha!</span> her grin spread from ear to ear. she was having lots of fun. she put down three cards and looked at her card.. it was high.. but not that high.. she sighed. <span style='color:gray'>oh no.. a jack...</span> she looked at Tes, then at Eka. She layed her card on the table under her paw, waiting for Tes's move.

  16. Eka slide the cars into there own new pile beside her just like he had said. She then watched the other two lay out there three cards as the prepared for war. Finally some excitement, she thought to herself. Even if she wasnÂ’t part of it. She looked at KaileaÂ’s jack, she thought that she stood a fairly good chance. At least it was one higher then that ten in front of them both.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry for the short post, i'm feeling kinda blank</td></tr></table>

Tesreail chewed his lip, if he lost that ace he was screwed... With blank silence he delt out three cards, then flipped over a fourth. A rush of releif washed over him like a warm blanket.
"King." He squeaked, followed by a large sigh of releif. Without bothering to check what cards he had won, he quickly gathered up the cards, shuffling them into a neatish stack and adding them to his side pile.

  18. Kailea sighed and laughed. she smiled as he took the cards. <span style='color:gray'>lucky... </span> she giggled and grabbed another card. she turned it up so she could see. <span style='color:gray'>bummer... kinda low..</span> she put down her card and moaned. <span style='color:gray'>oh well... a nine.. middle card..</span> she looked at the others and yawned. she didnt feel tired..

<table class=ooc><tr><td> Yeah all the post are getting pretty short. I hope you donÂ’t mind me moving it a long a little bit. Might finish it up in the next few days.</td></tr></table>

They played the card game for about a whole half hour it didnÂ’t look like any one was about to win any time soon, the game could go on forever. Eka looked over at the clock hanging above the bed on the other side of the room. During the game she had stopped paying attention to the time and was surprised to see how late it was. There was 5 minutes until the bell would ring for lunch.
<span style='color:green'>“Woah, I didn’t think that it was that late. We’d better get ready for lunch."</span>

She pushed back her chair and put all her cards at that moment into one small deck and handed them back to Kailea. She then stretched her arms from sitting down for so long, it wasnÂ’t like her. She liked to move around a lot more.
