Rising to the surface with her, he contemplate what to do now. He wanted to spend time with her, but what did she want to do? "What do you want to do know?" Zarkan inquired Hmm.. maybe go off someplace.. He didn't know..
<span style='color:gray'> "I don't mind. What would you like to do, M'Lord?" Flicking long, deep blue tresses from her face, the tiny droplets of water roll off, like that off a duck's back, not sinking into the icey white fur that rests over her figure. 'Looking' this way and that, Xestri was unsure of what to do now. 'Twould be Zarkan's choice, this time. </span>
"Whatever suits you best, M'Lady.." Zarkan answered in the same way Zarkan didn't really know what to do.. so he said so "I don't really know what to do.. Though spending some time with you would be nice" Zarkan said with a charming smile (Sorry for the crappy post.. I have so much stuff to dol..)
<span style='color:gray'> Xestri appeared a little quieter then usual now, glancing around the area with motionless gaze as gill slits settle. Her fur was light, thin, and kept blowing outwards slightly as the wind caught it. It was completely bone dry now, as the water droplets had slid silently back to the lake, and seemed full of glimmer and volume. Strands of equally dry, yet full hair also blew, following the gentle pattern of the wind. Indeed, the small pendragon feline was near silent now, for no explainable reason. Head turning to Zarkan, she shrugged ever so slightly. She really didn't appear to be in the mood for selecting locations at the moment. "Yeah, we can spend some time together if you like." </span>
Zarkan smiled happily. It had been a long time since he had spend some quality time with anybody, much less anybody he might love.. "Great! Where do you want to go?" Then, a question popped into his head 'By the way, how clearly do you see me now?" Zarkan didn't really know why he asked that, he was just curious. It just seemed that her eyesight got better as they stayed together longer and he was just looking to either confirm or disband that theory..
<span style='color:gray'> "The choice is yours. And, clearer then ever." Smiling quietly, Xestri looks from this to that around the lake - not hoping to spot anything in particular. Indeed, she was simply a curious little thing. Also, 'twas true that the small feline saw Zarkan a lot clearer, noticing a small red cross mark on one side of his face. And now she could see for sure - his eyes were pretty. Not so much piercing, in her opinion.</span>
"Hmm... where to go.." Zarkan pondered that for a moment.. then switched to her eyes "Hm, what do you think makes your eyes see better? How well you know a person, or how much you know a person?" Zarkan was geniuenly curious about her eyes, he was absolutely fascinating. They captivated him, held him enthralled.. He didn't really know why, they just did.. "You have pretty eyes.."
<span style='color:gray'> "The clearness of my visions don't depend on how well I know a person, nor how much I know a person - but merely how much time I spend looking at them. You know, like - the more I look at something, the clearer it becomes, and the more I see." She pauses, and smiles quietly. It appeared that Zarkan was off the subject of what to do next again. ~So easily distracted~, she thought. Returning her thoughts to him, she spoke once more, with a light blush of red hinting her cheeks. Lips curling into a small grin, she teases him. "And thank you. You have pretty eyes, too."</span>
"Pretty....." Zarkan repeated with a smile.. Piercing eyes always served him better in battle, scare 'em before you beat 'em.. Pretty eyes... He hadn't even thought of it before she had mentioned in some time back. Pretty.. He contemplated that..... Then he discarded that idea "Nah, I like 'em piercing" (By the way, you better not die in that hazing ritual in the Academy.. )
<span style='color:gray'> ooc| Don't worry, Xesrtri won't die. She's got gills, remember? (: ic| Head tilted a moment more. It seemed that Zarkan really didn't agree with the idea of his eyes being 'pretty'. He was hell bent on them being 'piercing'.. Hmm. Perhaps they were. Pure blue eyes, nice and strong. With a grin, she sticks her tongue out at him. "Okay, okay. Their piercing."</span>
Zarkan grinned at her childishness and replied "Yay!" with a lopsided grin "Piercing eyes serve better in the military.. You can't have soft eyes..." Zarkan said.. then hardened his eyes to a slits.. "Still pretty?" OOC: Argh.. I'm running out of ideas.. Help me out Claire.. you're the creative one.. I'm.. hm... not creative..
<span style='color:gray'> ooc| Uhh.. Creative ideas.. Okay, I'm a-thinkin'. (: ic| "Indeed, I suppose you would look a bit silly amongst other military members with pretty eyes.. Small feline chuckled gently to herself, unconciously wrapped arms around Zarkan's waist on a protective manner. It seemed that he was very revolved around this military of his, which was a shame - as she had always been one for peace.. Even so, she would not walk in front of the path which called him - she would simply protect him for her own needs to the furthest possible extent. Which in turn, explained her slow wrapping arms, wanting only to hold him close to her for as long as she could. Gazing into 'piercing' blue orbs, tongue is poked out once more when they are hardened to slits. "Definately not pretty. She grins after a 'grossed-out' grimace smears over her maw, playfully teasing him, into thinking that he was now unatractive. Of course though, she found this impossible to actually think, for he was godly attractive in her image.</span>
OOC: :) Just a-wondering.. Is it just me, or are you never on AIM anymore.. Its probably my bad timing but.. BIC: Zarkan felt her arms slowly tighten around his waist, and he did the same to her. Even though they had met scarecly an hour or so (hmm.. how long has this been?), he felt a deep bond to her. He loved the feeling of his hand on her waist, and hugged her tightly to him. He pouted playfully when she said not pretty.. He knew she was just playing with him so he put his eyes back to normalish "Pretty?" OOC: I feel like I'm repeating things I've said.. am I?
<span style='color:gray'> ooc| Nope, I don't think you're repeating yourself.. And yeah, I am on AIM a lot, I think it might be time zones getting in the way, though. ic| Smiling gently, Xestri nods as his eyes return to normal. Resting her head on his chest in a relaxing manner, she laughs lightly. "They are pretty, but I thought you said you didn't want them like that?" She loved spending time with him, especially as they were still half-submerged in water. Indeed, it must've been love at first 'sight', as they had only met not long ago. She'd never felt so close to anyone so fast. In fact, she'd never felt so close to anyone at all..</span>
Zarkan hugged her gently to his chest, smelling her sweet smelling hair with his nose.. Threading her hair through his hands, he thought.. She has nice hair. Sweet, and very soft to the touch.. Obviously, Zarkan's mind liked to wander around.. "Maybe..." Zarkan said before switching to another subject.. "How do you like the Academy?"
<span style='color:gray'> Eyes were closed now, Xestri leaning upon the strong male before her in sheer content. She could feel the strong bond between them deep within hersoul. Could it be love? She was still unsure, as she had never truely felt it before. But, perhaps this was it. The small feline certainly hoped so. "The Acadamy? Oh, it's fine. I don't think anyone truely enjoys it, but hey. It's worth attending."</span>
"I dropped out.. I have mastered my skills there, but they won't let me graduate.. Too young they say.." Zarkan paused for a moment, looking at the sky. Suddenly, strangely, the clouds began to darken, and it began to rain. At first, it was only a sprinkle, and it was almost relaxing. Then, it grew in power. Crashing down, it almost hurt at the amout of rain that was coming "Xestri, we must find shelter!" He said..
<span style='color:gray'> Before the scyth-patterned feline could respond to Zarkan's comment on the Academy, droplets of purest liquid began to fall. At first, 'twas light sprinkle, gentle rain dusting over polar features. But then, without warning, it grew, powerful sheets of storm-like rain throwing itself to the ground. The lake was soon disturbed, the ripple-less water now covered in miniscule cicular patterns. Nodding quickly with a confused look to Zarkan, Xestri gets ready to swim to the edge of the magnificent but now dangerous lake. "Shelter sounds like a plan!"</span>
Clasping her hand in his, he ran along, searching for a tree. He knew Xestri could see a bit, but he wasn't risking the chance that she might stumble into something and fall or something like that.. A bit overprotective of his newfound 'love' he was.. "Found a tree hole. Lets go!" Zarkan said, as he carried Xestri along to the tree hole..
<span style='color:gray'> A tree hole? Indeed, small feline was slightly confused by this term, but she wasn't about to argue. Letting her new 'beloved' drag her along in a protective manner, pupil-less optics try their hardest to focus on the scenery around them. They were moving at speed to get out of the rain, so trees and images were flashing by too fast for Xestri to comprehend. She would simply have to trust Zarkan not to let her run into a tree, or something silly like that.</span>
