  1. Dear? That threw Zarkan off the track. He hadn't been called that since.. Scratch that, he had never been called that before... Getting back on track, he said

Hmm.. interesting theory. I've never heard it before. Then again, no offense meant, there aren't many blind pendragons. Maybe you're just intune with the spirit force..

Which was highly likely to Zarkan. He was deeply spiritual, and like to go off and just meditate sometimes.

I'm just a bit curious, what blurred image do you see when you see me?

  2. <span style='color:gray'>
At this question, Xestri's head tilts slightly, pure blue optics resting over the figure before her. Blurred images were often hard to describe - it's a shame no-one else could see them for themselves. Head lifts up and down, as though the petite feline is looking Zarkan up and down, trying to get a good 'look' at him.

"Well, the first thing I noticed, was that you've been blessed with incredible wings - gold in hue, if I'm not mistaken? I can't quite make out their material yet, because that's too detailed for me at the moment, but from what I heard of them flapping - I'm going to guess they're more leathery that feathered? The next noticable thing about you is your coat - a pure, jet black. Very nice. And of course, there's your contrasting blonde hair. But that took a while to work it's way into my blurred image."

She smiles, head tilting once more, looking Zarkan up and down again. She could only imagine what he truely looked like for now. Perhaps her had delicate and intricate markings that she cannot see? Of course, she'd love to be able to see this friendly creature in all his glory, and all his detail - but of course, that would only happen if she were to spend vast amounts of time with him. That wouldn't be too bad though, would it..?

"Ah yes. I've noticed recently that you're in a two-legged form. At first, I just thought you were incredibley tall.. And look at tiny little me, sat here on all fours. I feel as though I should be standing up there with you."

She grins a little, eyes closing, as though she were preparing herself to do something. Unknown to Zarkan, Xestri has both forms. She had taught herself to morph from a quad-like form to a bipedial form, just incase she ever needed to. For emergencies, perhaps? When you're blind, you can never be too careful.. Slowly, she draws back onto her haunches, then rising onto her hind legs to stand. Eyes are still closed, as the lock of hair that rests atop her head grows, twisting and turning to fall down her now much more human back. Long locks are now a deep shade of blue-turquoise, and they rest just above her waist. Forepaws now adorn slender fingers, though her feet still look like the paws of her previous hind legs. Tail looks the same, protruding low, from the bottom of her spine.

Now, a two-legged version of the blind feline stands before Zarkan. Eyes open slowly, her vision directed at the top of his chest, showing that she's consiberably shorter than him. Blue optics lift to meet his eyes, and head tilts slightly with a smile.

"Oooh, I just noticed something. You have pretty blue eyes. A bit like me."

ooc| One of my longer posts.. Hehe. ^^; Lookie at her Anthro picture for a referance if you want.
    </span>

  3. Zarkan was struck dumb by the detail of her description. It was almost one hundred percent accurate. Even a lot of people who can actually see don't describe him half as well...

    Then, she transformed

Although transforming wasn't uncommon, Zarkan never got completely used to it. Seeing a person whom he's always associated an image with, and then seeing that person in a new form always through him off a bit. Maybe it was the transition between forms.... Now that he thought about it, she was pretty in her two-legged form...

Pretty blue eyes? That was a first, Zarkan thought. He had always considered them...
piercing blue eyes... Very useful in a fight, glare at em, scare 'em away...

    Zarkan smiled..

I prefer to call them, 'piercing' blue eyess he said..

(think Kenshin style eyes when hes in Battousai mode..)

  4. <span style='color:gray'>
    "Piercing, eh?"

She smiles gently, with a small chuckle, head tilting lightly, as though she was trying to get a better look at him. Pale, pupil-less optics stare deep into his, nose wrinkling a little.

"Nah.. I still think they're pretty.."

A grin plays about her features, making it obvious that she was teasing him. Though of course, in a friendly manner. She'd never intentionally go about to annoy or offend him, she just hopes that he sees it as a playful tease.</span>

  5. That so.. Zarkan said... He knew she was just teasing him, so he decided to play along

Well, I personally think yours are quite ferocious.. All pale and scary like.. He responded with a smile

Of course, Zarkan thought nothing of the sort. He did actually think her eyes were a bit pretty, but of he wouldn't say that alound.. But they were rather pale. And it might seem scary to some rather scarable pendragons he knew..

But then again, those were people who jumped when a squirrel walked in front of them. No, her eyes weren't scary at all... Maybe, a bit intriguing..

  6. <span style='color:gray'>
The light grin continues to play about her maw, as the game is continued. Of course, she was reasonably aware that her eyes were anything but ferocious - she had sat and stared at her reflection in the lake numerous times, to get a rough image of her appearance. But, some had thought they were indeed scary.. All pale, and a little lifeless at times.

"Ferocious, eh? Well, as long as they don't scare you off, I'm not too bothered what they look like."</span>

  7. Don't worry, they don't scare me.. Zarkan assured her..

Indeed, very few things could scare Zarkan more than what happened to him when he was young. Unless someone got stabbed more than 51 times in front of his eyes... And even then he wouldn't get frightened, because that had already happened to him. Anyway, to carry on the conversation..

Your eyes are more like... Well.. unique. How many pendragons do you know with eye like yours? I bet there are a lot of 'dragons with eyes like mine..

  8. <span style='color:gray'>
"Well, I must admit. I don't know of any others like myself.. And I'm sure you are very unique in your own way, too."

She smiles softly, soon moving to sit upon the soft grass quietly. She kneels at first, the leans greatly towards one side, an arm holding her up. Long, thin tail flickers slightly, before resting curled around her legs. As usual, a light smile plays about her muzzle - it's not often that she doesn't seem happy.</span>

  9. Of course.. I'm unique.. I'm sure no one has the same past as I do..

Zarkan's eyes misted a slight bit as he remembered the past

Then, he shook his head in consternation.. He had to stop moaning about the past. he must look to the future! Even as Zarkan said this in his mind he felt stupid. What a corny phrase... Zarkan glanced down at his claws, flexing them reflexively.. This was his life.. To go out, and kill people for a living. Some life..

So what do you want to do? Zarkan inquired...

  10. <span style='color:gray'>
Delicate head, now alive with a full head of deep blue hair, tilts slightly, Xestri wondering what her new found friend could mean when he speaks about his unique past. Very tempted to ask, she refuses, telling herself that asking about such personaly things would surely scare Zarkan off, or at least annoy or upset him greatly. So, she moves around this temptation, thinking about an answer to the next question. This too, was quite hard to think about, as she was reaaonably overwhelmed by the fact that Zarkan wanted to stay with her. He intended on doing something with her - most would be leaving about now. This made her puzzled, not sure what to answer, due to lack of experience in such a situation.

"Hmm.. I really don't mind. What else is there to do around here but swim?"</span>

  11. Zarkan glanced ruefully at the water... Taking a tentative step towards, he put his foot in... and sprang back out...

Stupid cold water... He didn't even know how to swim... Again, his mind came back to.. Stupid cold water...

Well.... I don't really know how to swim. I spent most of my time in the air.. I think wings are really cumbersome sometimes.. I would love to swim.. but one, the waters is really cold, and two, I don't know how.. he said..

  12. <span style='color:gray'>
Xestri chuckles lightly, the smile that lies within her features looking rather sympathetic. She would have surely killed herself long before now if she hadn't discovered water. It was her delicacy, her temptation, her passion. Though, she had not technically suggested for them to swim, the near thought of it now made her tingle with light pleasure.

"You don't know how to swim? My my, now that won't do."

She rises to her two feet once more, holding a hand out to him. She intended to teach him - and with his wings, it wouldn't be too hard. They would act like extra limbs, letting him move with incredible speed through the crystaline waters of Magi Lake. Even if Xestri was blessed with the gift of flight, she would have probably used it more for swimming purposes then taking to the skies. Hoping that he wouldn't riddle with fear, and instead take her hand, she smiles up to him softly.

"C'mon, I'll teach you. And I'm sure I could do something about the cold.."

She chuckles lightly, refering of course to her elemental socery. She would warm the water until he felt comfortable enough to get in. </span>

  13. "Err.. you sure about that? I don't think fire and water mix and all that..." Zarkan said aloud...

"And won't these wings be a bit cumbersome in the water?"

Zarkan was still a bit afraid of the water. When he was in the Academy, a few of his not so nice "friends" decided to play a "harmless" joke on him. It was a known fact throughout his years there that he never swam. Although at the time, he wasn't quite afraid of water, he merely didn't like it..

However, on that day, his "friends" grabbed his forcefully by the wings, and dunked him under the pond near the academy. They forced his head under, and indeed would've drowned if it was not for an instructor that passed by..

From then, on, Zarkan.. the mighty warrior 'dragon, was afraid of water..

(OOC: Man, I'm making my char weak.. :) )

  14. <span style='color:gray'>
"If you're refering to your tail flame, dear, then I'm sure it'll be fine. If anything happens, I'll protect you.. I can move the water around it, and such, remember?"

She grins a little, hoping to tease him a little more in a friendly way, by saying that she'll protect him. Perhaps his male domincance would feel threated, or something of the sort. Xestri really doesn't understand the mind of the male.. Her hand extends out to him a little further, a few slender fingers brushing against his, trying to encourage him to get in the water with her. If he felt that uncomfortable, and really didn't want to get in, of course she wouldn't force him. It would be a shame though, especially seeing as every inch of her body was itching to get into the cool, crystal water.

"And quite the opposite - your wings will propel yo uthrough the water with ease.. You won't have to move any other limbs - all you'll need to do is flap, and relax.."

She smiles, taking one small step towards him, her hand nudging his once more. Xestri's passion is to swim, but she'd never been swimming with anyone before. If it was so much fun alone, then surely she'd be in heaven with a close friend to swim with? She could teach him how to move within the water, show him the true beauty of the water's depths, watch him swim with those powerful wings of his.. At these thoughts, of course she wants nothing more then to be in the water. Thinking quickly, she smirks a little, throwing another idea into the air - hopefully one that would both tease and appeal to Zarkan. She hads gathered that perhaps he was a fighter, just from his build. A warrior, maybe?

"Maybe you can think of it as Marine training? You'll never know when you need to swim.."</span>

  15. Training? That immediatly sent signals into his head

    1) Training makes you better

    2) Being better means you win

    3) Winning means you don't die

    4) Training is good

Of course, this all happened in a microsecond, and Zarkan clasped Xestri hand a bit tighter..

Taking another tentative step towards the water, he said

    "All right.. You lead.."

  16. <span style='color:gray'>
    ooc| Heehee, I like the way Zarkan's mind works. He's funny. =D

    ic|
The small smile that had smeared itself across Xestri's muzzle suddenly grew. He wanted to swim with her! She could see it in his 'pretty' blue eyes. There they were, inches away from the pure waters that were calling her softly.. Inticing her, begging her to swim.. But no, she had to focus. She had to think of Zarkan - he didn't like water. She had to make sure that he would be comfortable-

Her thoughts were then suddenly interrupted, as she felt the clasping of her hand. Though she was expecting it, there was something about this grasp.. It felt somewhat affectionate to her - but perhaps that just because no-one had ever held her hand before.

But no, he wasn't holding her hand in a matter of words. He had clutched her hand so she could teach him how to swim. Focus, Xestri. Focus. She took a step quietly into the water, leding him in. He was right, it was frightfully cold.. But when she had led him in up to his waist, pale, pupil-less eyes closed gently. After a few moments, the water soon sifted around his waist, getting warmer and warmer slowly. </span>

  17. Her hand was slightly soft to the touch, but yet firm. As she claspeed his hand a bit more firmly, his cheeks went a bit red. He didn't have much interaction with females, for he was a loner. As a matter of fact, he didn't have much interaction with anyone.

As he stepped into the pool, he slowly gained confidence. He was Zarkan, the black knight, the .. He broke off this train of thought quickly..

The water was cool to the skin, a tad bit too cold. Zarkan was becoming slightly uncomfortable, but then it started to warm up. Looking at Xestri with a slightly grateful expression, he kept pace with her into the water...

    "Now what?" he inquired..

  18. <span style='color:gray'>
In all honesty, Xestri had no idea what to do now. Swimming had come so naturally to her, she had never had to teach it before. Pondering for a moment, she glanced to Zarkan, though soon distracted once more, this time by the expression that lay across his face. It looked so grateful, so warm.. After a few mere seconds, she found herself staring at him with pupil-less optics. Shaking her head a little, to regain her concentration, she smiles a little, her cheeks too tringing a little scarlet. What she had noticed, was that his image was quickly becoming clearer to her..

"Well, um.. I think we should get a little deeper, first."

She grins a little, leading him slowly further into the water. It's soon that their intwined hands are submerged in the clear waters.. He's in the Lake now, surely she could let go? Debating silently for a second or two, she chooses not to let go, somewhat savouring the gently linking of their fingers.</span>

  19. Zarkan again blushed when he found her staring at him..

Still locking his fingers with hers, he traveled a bit farther into the water...

Smiling mischeviously and taking a breath, he ducked himself under water, taking her with him. He knew she had gill, so he didn't worry that she would drown or choke or something akin to that

"YES! I'm underwater.. Hmm... seems like I'm not drowning.. Lets try using my wings.."

Extending his wings, he beat down powerfully... maybe a bit too powerfully.. Soaring upwards at extremely fast velocities he was out of the water and airborne for a few seconds, still dragging her behind him.. Letting out a whoop of laughter, he fell back down into the water with a splash..

  20. <span style='color:gray'>
Tugged under the water, a wide smile spreads across Xestri's face. If Zarkan had the chance to see her, he would have noticed how beautiful the water actually made her look. She almost appeared to be a mirage - somewhat blending with the purest of waters. Her slender body sfloating effortlessly, long azure hair flowing wildly around her figure.

Though suddenly, she's pulled out of the water, soon in the air, Before she knew what had happened, she hit the water once more, a large splash surrounding the pair of them. The random flight had shocked her, and when back in the water, she found herself clinging to Zarkan's torso, in some kind of bewildered hug.

Finally realizing that it had just been Zarkan flapping his wings, propelling the pair of them into the air, her whole face twinges a gentle crimson in embarrassment. Continuing to look up at him quietly, arms wrapped around him, she laughs a little. </span>
