Yin stepped closer to the hatchlings at Thi's gesture and exhaled in appreciative wonder. They sure were cute little things. Her eyes settled almost immedietely on the pastel violet, though she looked at the others, as well, with that same sort of entranced look on her face. The pastel green was also of interest... but, to be fair, she knew, it was only one that she should be keeping her eye on. And that pastel violet took it away without even twitching a wing. "Quite the healthy broods, Thi. Very well bred. The pastel violet's an eye catcher." Yin said with a slight grin. It wasn't really a hint as much as it was a question. Well, sort of.
Stryx nodded eagerly. Yup. As to payment, is there anything in particular you are looking for?
Thi smiled at Stryx. Not entirely except to know that they are going to a good home. Why thank you Yin. She said apreciativley
Yin gave a slight smile, tempted to reach a finger down and run it across the chick's wing, but resisting with effort. After all, this wasn't her bird. At least not yet. Even if she managed to buy it from Thi, it would be a little while yet before it would be ready to come with her. The reason she thought of it as "it" (and would soon refer to it as such) was because she didn't know which gender it was. It was rather young for one to know merely by glance and it was with its siblings. Thus, it would be hard to figure out the gender. Though she was rather sure she knew which it was. And it didn't matter, anyway. She could take in a female or a male to her home. As long as it was that lovely little flitter. "Would you, perhaps, be willing to part with it?" The Sunhawk asked politely, giving another smile to ensure that it didn't seem very uptight of her to ask. She really wasn't good at this interaction. That was Yang's thing, not hers.
Thi smiled and laughed at the Sunhawk's hesitation. No Need to worry Yin. She said. I'm willing to part with all but the tiny albino.
"Would you, then, possibly permit me to buy two of your lovely chicks? The pastel green and the pastel violet... if you don't mind, that is." Yin said with a slight smile, gaining more confidence with the passing of each second. Her heart still rammed itself insistantly against her chest, though, tension throbbing within like a sore thumb. Sometimes she was rather proud of her actions, though - and today was one of those days.
Of course, Yin. Even if I did want them, I would still allow a prestigious breeder such as yourself to take them. Thi smiled. I just have too many Flitters about She admitted
Yin would have blushed, but she stopped herself just in time, giving a half-smile that showed her delight. It might seem as if she was holding back her happiness, but that wasn't the case. She was just restraining her inner turmoil at the words. Delight was definitely one of the emotions running through her head. Her fingers darted to her pocket, where her payment lay, and came up with a Sunhawk medallion, perfectly formed by the hands of a blind Mediator many years ago. It was nothing among the Tribes, but very few outside of them managed to get their hands on such a trinket. It was exchanged between friends of tribal members. The exchange was usually not taken lightly, but the Sunhawk didn't want to explain the significance of this giving, nor did she think that Thi needed to know. The only difference it made was that the Tribal beasts would look twice before doing anything nasty to someone wearing this particular pendant. "Here. This is my payment. If it is acceptable? If you would like more, as it is two chicks, I could offer you more..." The breeder said, voice tapering off. She was quite willing to add to it to own both pastel green and pastel violet.
Thi looked down at the trinket. Her eyes widened. She was very fond of anything someone offered to her. But she had read about these medalions somewhere before. Thi's eyes filled with tears as she took it in her paws. It is fine as payment she said and slipped it over her head. I thank you very much
Noticing the tears, Yin sort of averted her eyes, stuffing her hands rather uncomfortably into her pockets, then removing them. It was one of her bad habits and the tribal female was determined to break it. So she gave a strange little smile, realizing that, perhaps, Thi understood the gravity involved in this transaction, then looked at the chicks again. Two new members to her odd little family. The only problem was that she had to wait. Ah, well, patience was a virtue. She glanced at the other pendragon present - besides her and Thi, that was - and took a sideways step toward the door. "I... er... that is... perhaps I should be going so you two can discuss?" The Sunhawk said, annoyed at her own lack of elegance, but showing only a slight smile that indicated her honest desire to leave them alone so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable in her unneeded presence.
Thi smiled. No need to leave Yin she said. She know felt that herself and Yin had connected in a new way.
