Felgrin stumbled. Both of his legs and his left hand was stunned, making him pretty immobile.
He growled, and buried his claws into the flesh of the nearest 'dragon in surprise. (using the right hand of course)</font>

Meira yelps, and her back legs collapse under her, causing her to sit rather suddenly, as it was her left thigh and hip that had Felgrin's claws imbedded in them. She figured it was the ursidae, but she still had the egg 'round her neck, so she couldn't turn to bite the offending owner of the claws without endangering it.

Kujai, however, decides to take her egg back as Meira yelps, if only to save her child, and let Meira use her sightless fighting training. Slipping the sling off the teen's neck and head, she replaces it onto her own and backs up, turning to find Aiolos, so as not to be mistaken as an attacker by the blind 'dragon.

Free from the worry of harming her niece or nephew now, Meira wheels around as best she can, jaws snapping, hoping to catch a bit of ursidae in them. The fog wasn't affecting her at all, as she couldn't see anyway, so she had little idea that it was a pendragon who had her, and not a wild ramathian animal.</font>

  3. <font color='#000F22'>Felgrin was furious. First he got kicked, then stunned, and now bitten. At least the pain from the bite got rid of the paralyzis.
    <span style='color:#008080'>{Rip them apart and snatch the egg... That´s what I´ll do}</span>
He did not know it himself, but his thought had mistakenly gone out as a telepath.</font>

  4. <font color='#8D38C9'>[*is poken* AHH! Soorryyyy Zevanesss...]

«<span style='color:blue'>Okay, this isn't cool</span>.» she muttered to herself, not only that she couldn't talk, but now she couldn't SEE. Of course, she did still have one advantage: Fauna.

They're like portable flashlights, I swear it.

Anyway, she called out to one of the avians to ask it what was going on, that it could see, up in the sky. It pipped up a few seconds later that a bunch of magic-scales around her where fighting this one who seems to be trying to steal stuff. Of course, avians aren't the smartest bunch, but they get the job done.

She thanked it, and then asked it one more thing...«<span style='color:blue'>Wing sister, can you please gather up a bunch of you, and any other kinds that will not try to eat you, to come and flap this steam away? If not, then just come back and lead me to this new magic-scale trying to steal</span>.»

She somehow heard the flapping the avians wings, as it flew off to complete her request. Now she just had to wait...In hope that the 'dragons don't kill each other untill then. Pff, yea sure, she's hoping that maybe they well kill themselves.</font>

  5. <font color='#000080'>OOC: Eurgh, I twisted my ankle camping. [IMG] It hurts, bloody thing...

BIC: Nafel heard Meira's noise of pain, but also felt her turn around an snap at whatever it was, so she didn't bring her immediate attention to that. What the...? She could have sworn that she had heard a 'dragon 'path, and that made no sense. It had been something about the egg, that much she knew.

    Nurano had heard it too. {What was that? Did you hear it Nafel?}

{Yeah.} She sent the affirmative and began flapping her wings, hoping she didn't stun anything unintentionally. She wanted to fly up and be able to see, much as the avians were doing, unbeknownst to her. However, she couldn't, for fear of hitting one of her friends.

Nurano used the skills available to him. He cast a small spell through thought and color, trying to identify the creatures in the fog. The fog made it hard to see, but he could see several glowing shapes.

One was unfamiliar, and looked to be swiping at what he thought was Meira. He decided to take the chance, and bit at the shape. If it was Aiolos or Kujai, he figured they'd have protection up. It wasn't Nafel or Meira, as they both were shaped differently then what he was looking at, and he would've been able to spot Nafel a mile away. He hoped he would hit, at least enough to wound.</font>

  6. <font color='#000F22'>Felgrin groaned. He was rather weak now, due to the loss of blood. Realizing that he had no chance of getting the egg, he turned around to escape. He made his way through the fog, until he bumped into Haku, and fell. The moment he hit the ground, his spell was significally weakened, making the fog thin as air.</font>

XP )  Free time is mine again (well, not really.. two huge deadlines looming over my head - due this monday.. but I have two full days to finish them since I'm not yet working, so I'm not too worried.. ) and I'm trying not to be lazy. This be good, yes? ^_~;;

Eek.. sorry about your twisted ankle! Hope it's tons better now. *noddle* I sprained mine about two weeks back, hobbled around a bunch for a week until it was alright again. lol. :P

Meira realized immediately the voice she heard was not one of the pendragons around her, not even the new female, and broadcasts vocally quite loudly, <span style='color:#B94B4B'>"It's a pendragon, not the ursidae!"</span>

Aiolos realizes the magic-borne fog was thinning, and due to now being able to see even without it comepletely gone, he silently snarls and waves a paw to clear it completely with a large gust of wind.

Kujai was in a terror of a mood, her two front arms curled protectively around her egg she was busy giving dirty looks to anyone or anything that looked at her. Even inanimate objects, such as the log she was sitting against, got the evil eye from the aggrivated mother-to-be.

Aiolos secure his wife and child were safe, looks to his sister and Nafel and Nurano, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"You all look fine.."</span> he notices Meira's hindquarters, and the gashes in them, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"We should find you a healer, Meira."</span>

She shakes her head in protest, but doesn't get a chance to speak, as Aio had already marched off toward Haku, and the form of a pendragon collapsed at her feet. <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"It's in both your interests not to move a hair until some questions are answered."</span>

Now he was giving them evil eyes, instead of Kujai. But his were slightly more controlled - he was after all a natural debater, he wasn't going to let anger cloud his judgement or thought process.</font>

  8. <font color='#8D38C9'>Haku's eyes flashed in annoyance when the stranger 'dragon ran into her. She had half the mind to kick him aside and ask the Avians to peck him to death, but she somehow controlled herself.

When the large male 'dragon gave her the evil eyes, she knew that she either did what he said, or get torn apart, as she wasn't really a fighter. She flicked her tail in an aggrivated matter, and decided to add in her 2 cents before she got tied in with this fallen one.

«<span style='color:blue'>This isn't what it looks like it is. I have nothing to do with this 'dragon, I only came around to help that Ursidae, as you foolishly bothered it by walking near it's home!</span>»</font>

  9. <font color='#000080'>OOC: Weekend homework sucks monkeys. ^_^ My ankle's better, but now I have a cold, lol.

BIC: Nafel blinkedas the fog cleared. As soon as she located Nurano and Meira, so walked back over to them, not making so much as a sound. She figured that it was a good idea just to let Aiolos handle this, since he was a debater by trade, and was far more imposing than either her or her slim mate. She 'pathed to Meira, so as to not disturb Aiolos.

    {Meira? Are you all right? He didn't damage anything permenant, did he?}

Nurano simply stood, doing his best to look slightly imposing.</font>

  10. <font color='#000F22'>Felgrin groaned loudly, as his tail flame sizzled out into a mere spark. He spitted (or is it spat?) curses, groaned again, and mumbled a bit.
<span style='color:#008080'>"Ergh... Those... wretched 'dragons can take their damned... egg... and... and..."</span> At that point, he lost coinciusness. (is that spelled right?)</font>

  11. <font color='6C6C6C'>\\ OOC: Excube? D'you want the crew to leave Felgrin, so he can follow later on, or should something else happen? (Such as drag him off to where the authorities can haul him off to prison. [IMG] )

    \\ IC

Meira shakes her head just slightly, as she responds to Nafel's telepath, <span style='color:#B94B4B'>{No, I don't think so.. it burns, kinda, but you'd expect that, seeing as I have some holes in my thigh that weren't there a moment ago..}</span> She's joking already? Must be fine. <span style='color:#B94B4B'>{I can walk, so I don't think anything major was severed.. but then, I'm also not a doctor or a healer, so I couldn't say for sure!}</span>

Aiolos looks between the two of them, a mask of serenity hiding the fury within of being attacked in the first place. Even though it wasn't himself that was attacked - rather his family and friends.

Either way, he was not in a good mood. But he controlled himself.

    Barely.

He looks at Haku first. Aio's tone remains even and subdued, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"And how was I to know the ursidae's home was here? Unfortunately, they haven't the intellect to construct a viable written language, not common sense to post signs. If she had attacked me, you can be sure there would be one less ursidae to attack pendragons."</span>

He eyes their fainted assaulter, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"I don't generally go looking for trouble. But when it comes up, I handle it without hesitation."</span> His eyes avert back to Haku, then to Meira, standing behind them, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"How deep?"</span>

Meira knew she was being spoken to, despite her blindness, but avoids the question, <span style='color:#B94B4B'>"I'm fine."</span>

Aiolos nods, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"I'll take that as deep."</span>

Meira smirks and shakes her head.

Kujai, however, was still glaring, giving the evil eye, and would probably be foaming at the mouth, if it weren't for Aiolos blocking her view of Haku and Felgrin.

The egg, on the other hand, was safely wrapped up in all four of Kujai's arms - she'd sat down since last attention was drawn to her. There was no way the egg would be stolen from this irritated mother!

Aiolos glances back at Kujai, then at Nurano and Nafel, assessing their physical health a second time. He turns back to Haku, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"I'll accept that you were here to protect the ursidae.. and I'll accept you have nothing to do with this other.."</span> he glances at Felgrin's form, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"But what were you doing out here to begin with? It's not everyday one finds a pendragon in the middle of nowhere who just happens to be able to save the day."</span>

Kujai mutters in the background, but her spiteful words, still hyped over almost losing her egg, are lost to the wind - thankfully.</font>

  12. <font color='#8D38C9'>Haku nodded, «<span style='color:blue'>The reason why I was around here was because I heard rumors about fauna attacks, and I wanted to find out exactly why this was happening. Of course, my predictions were right, 'dragons have been stepping around their breeding territory.</span>»

She flicked her tail, and sniffed, the cold around here getting to her. «<span style='color:blue'>I found out about what was going on here by the avians. They were quite chatty, and they don't like it when people complain about their singing...</span>» She smirks, and licks her paw.

«<span style='color:blue'>I don't really like causing trouble, I just jumped in front of you to protect the urisdae, not to harm anyone else...</span>»</font>

  13. <font color='6C6C6C'>\\ OOC: I know I'm posting out of turn, but it's only for this... [IMG]

    \\ IC

Kujai's eyes widen in awe that this pendragon would have heard from the avians that she'd been complaining about their singing. Avians could talk?! That means they were capable of revenge..

Paranoia sets in a moment later, and she takes a defensive posture, looking at the tree tops to the noisy featherbrains, protecting her egg, and scared a troop of them would attack at any immediate moment.

Reality (as she knows it) takes back over during the third second, and she goes back to glaring at the ground. Those feather heads were stupid and noisy, and this new comer had just overheard her making mention of their nasty noise making. Avians didn't talk. Much less plan attacks. They just tasted good.. in great enough numbers. Yeah..

Ah, so go the many mood swings of Kujai..</font>

  14. <font color='#000F22'>OOC: Hmm... I dunno. Perhaps he could join them, but still having thoughts about snatching the egg...

IC: At first, Felgrin didn't know where he was. He was hurt, and a lot of foggy shapes where moving around him. When he reagained his senses, he got mad because he had failed. And when a little avian landed right in front of his face and begun to peck his nose, he bit it and begun to eat it alive.</font>

  15. <font color='#8D38C9'>((OOC: Oo;; Was everybody waiting for me? Ahhh....&#33[IMG])

    BIC:

Haku watched, mouth slightly agape, as the male 'dragon slowly began to eat the avian alive. Her senses told her to rip the 'dragon's throat out, as the little avian's cries ran through her mind. With a strong mental push, she closed herself of the horrible feeling of death closing around the avians soul, and she put her hands over her head, whining loudly, and shaking. Of course, having a strong connection with Fuana meant she felt their pain and suffering as well, and the only thing on her mind was the loud screams of the avians mind.</font>

  16. <font color='6C6C6C'>\\ OOC: LOL! No harm, no foul! =D

    \\ IC

Aiolos turns his nose up at Felgrin's messy eating. Seeing Haku's obvious discomfort and pain, he would have swiped the animal from Felgrin's jaws. But the creature was already too far along to save, and it would be best to let the pendragon finish the deed.

<span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"Well. I'll also accept that."</span> Normally, he wouldn't have. But Haku didn't look as if she were lying. Especially considering her reaction to Felgrin's impromptu meal. If she was lying, she was quite the conartist. And as such, perhaps it would be better to keep her along..

More importantly, he would have Felgrin follow, if by nothing else, then under close watch.

Staring down at the feeding Felgrin, Aiolos snorts, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>"Get up."</span> There was no pleasantry accompanying his voice. He wasn't asking.

Aio flicks an ear backward, and decides against asking Kujai to assist. Instead, he addresses Nafel and Nurano, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>{Do either of you know any magic-containment spells? I don't want Felgrin to use his magic, but I have to lead, so I can't put the charm on him.}</span> a pause before he scoffs mentally, <span style='color:#AC0A0A'>{And Kujai's hardly in any state of mind for my asking her to do something to him.}</span> She'd certainly go overboard, if she were given the opportunity to cast magic on Felgrin. Best not tempt her..</font>

  17. <font color='#000080'>OOC: Aah! I'd forgotten about this thread! >.<

    BIC: Nurano could only just make out Aiolos's 'path, and there was no way he could respond. He didn't know any containment spells, but he knew other ways to contain the errant 'dragon. They would require more work, though, and so he didn't want to have to use them just yet. Nafel, however, could and did 'path back. {I do. I can keep a 'dragon enclosed in an area, but the area can't be very big, and I can't hold it forever. Why? Do you want to contain him?}

Nurano kept a trained Spy's eye on the 'dragon. He didn't like the fact that the 'dragon ate the avian alive, but it didn't bother him as much as some of the others. He had come to the same 'too far gone' conclusion as Aiolos, and made no move to help the creature. He was also suspicious that it might've been a ploy to make a sympathetic dragon come near, so that the downed attacker could injure the 'dragon. He did not to be in that situation, so he stayed still while the other 'pathed.</font>

  18. <font color='#ADA96E'>Felgrin got up. He didn't like to take orders, but it was better to obey. A quick glanze at Haku made him snicker.
<span style='color:#008080'>"What's the big deal? Was the feather-freak your sister or something?"</span> He couldn't resist to mock her.

Felgrin looked down at the remains of the avian that was lying in a puddle of blood on the ground. Mumbling some strange words, the cunning male fried the feathery carcass.</font>

  19. <font color='#8D38C9'>[OOC: EEP Oo;;]
    IC:

Haku snarled at him, hackles raised. «Idiot! What did that avian ever do to you? And what if that avian was like my sister? Because that's how the fauna are to me!»

She glared at him, but made no move to actually attack. She knew he could fight, and, well, she couldn't.</font>

  20. <font color='#ADA96E'><span style='color:#008080'>"Bah! How can you see these weak-minded, flying foods as sisters?"</span>

To Felgrin, nature was just one, big lunch box, filled with living steaks. To think what a life in a swamp does to your brain.</font>
