Mist slowly lowered herself down to the floor and started to put on the equipment that Soeli had laid out for them. She had also never worn it before but soon got them on all the right ways after having a few problems with getting it around her wings. She just used her telekinesis to get them over her wings. She then took off with a few strokes with her feathery wings and nodded to Anezka and Soeli to show she was ready. She was looking forward to how all this of going to turn out.
Soeli made sure to speak slowly now, as her students hovered diligently in front of her. Her wings flapped violently behind her, yet her body seemed to float in the air. Their movement was fluid and constant. "Alright. We've got our sparring gear on, so let's get straight to it. Dive for eachother, taking swipes at each other's chests and sides. Don't scratch eachother's eyes out, alright?" She moved back, and hovered right beside the wall effortlessly. Soeli would tell them what not to do as soon as they started.
Laz trotted into the large room to see that the fighting class had already begun. Guess it's probably my fault for being late, he thought good-naturedly. When he looked to the center of the room, though, his good spirit faded away somewhat. They were... flying. For a moment, the male 'dragon just stood, watching their graceful aerial combat. The femmes up there were quite good; without the heavy sparring gear he thought that they might be even better. Their wings didn't seem to hinder them, he mused. They kept them out of the way while they did dives and strikes and defensive moves... Heaving a gusty sigh, Laz walked with considerably less spring to his step, up to the benches. He took a seat next to the other 'dragon that was there, but didn't think to greet him as he was lost in his own thoughts. Never before had not having wings been such a burden. I wonder if they'll even let me fight, he wondered, with a touch of anger. The schedule didn't say anything about aerial sparring... just plain old fighting and sparring. With a frown, Laz wished for the first time that he had wings. He sat with a dusky cloud of unpleasent thoughts floating about his head for some time, until he noticed Darkwolf sitting beside him intent upon the beautiful airborne combat going on above them. Blinking, he said quietly (so as not to disturb the fighters) "'Lo... Are you waiting too?" he said as he looked the other male over. To be honest, the 'dragon didn't seem to be the social type, really. He also seemed to be lean, and a fighter. Laz wondered if perhaps he was an assasin. In any case, Laz thought, I think I should like to see him fight.
Falcon ran in right after laz, and tripped on the mats. This place is more like a maze than a school... what do they think I am? a mouse? He stood up and looked around at the class that had already started. "Hey teach, what are we doing right now?"
