Fey watched her not the least bit surprised with her speed.<span style='color:purple'>Something tells me this one could get annoying.</span> He looked the gem over and sighed. <span style='color:purple'>"Well I don't know I would guess we should check the store it came from."</span> He grabbed her by the shoulders and studied the sticker for a moment his difference in height forcing him to crane his neck down. <span style='color:purple'>"Johna's gem emporium. Sounds interesting."</span> He released her with a smirk and twirled around trying to locate it.
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>"Pfft! Books aren't like doing the real thing," she replied, strangely flailing her arms up into the air. She was still babbling about water, for some reason. "Because in real water things you have the danger of drowning, tasting salt water..." She suddenly realised what she had just said. "Er, I'm not really helping, am I?" As for the gem, she couldn't help watching it out of the corner of her eyes, and forgot all about the sticker on her forehead.</span></div></div>
There was a burst of laughter from Fey as he watched her. <span style='color:purple'>"Are you ever normal?"</span> It was a simple question needing a simple answer. One which he was expecting to get. <span style='color:purple'>"I mean are you ever this hyper?"</span> <span style='color:purple'>She's like a hyperactive child.</span> <span style='color:purple'>"No your not helping."</span> There was only one person who could have a chance. Mia. <span style='color:purple'>"I fear drowning, detest the taste of salt water."</span> He did a small whirl looking at the various signs. Fey spotted one that might be useful. "Shopping district." He pointed to it with a smirk. <span style='color:purple'>"This way!"</span> He pushed her in the small of the back towards that direction.
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>"Nope, never, no!" she cried out to him, rubbing the little barcode sticker so it remained on her head. "I love drowning! No, wait..." She thought hard for a moment, pausing her feet, directly in front of Fey, who by now was probably regretting meeting her. Or at least, that was what she thought. He was quite a handsome shade of purple, she noted, but soon her instincts kicked in and she told her psyche off. She didn't want to ruin anything. His poke had a delayed reaction, where it seemed she randomly twitched. "Hey..." she sighed, with a little cheeky glint in her eyes.</span></div></div>
Fey'yore groaned as she stayed where she was for a moment. Fey decided there was going to be only one way for this to work. With a small sigh he picked up the odd Thill hoisting her onto his back. <span style='color:purple'>"This is just temporary."</span> He walked down the street with the rather odd one attached to his back probably squealing with joy. <span style='color:purple'>"Just don't mess with the hair."</span> He called to his living back warmer. His braids were still bound in the blue cord Mia had used a few days earlier.
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>She kicked and screamed a little. No one had ever picked her up like that before, apart from her workmate Alanamsul. "Put me down!" It was actually beginning to really scare her. Her elder sister had hoisted Llina up like this, full of intent to hurt. Her squeal must have been piercing into the ears of the other residents or visitors to Aurius. Tears began spilling down her cheeks and she attempted to huddle into a ball, as she usually did when gravely frightened. Her tail curled between her legs and she cried herself to sleep.</span></div></div>
Fey'yore yelled in pain as her squeals of joy turned out to be very high-pitched screams of horror. Fey's ears started to pop as he tried to carry on. <span style='color:purple'>"Good God I can't take it any more!"</span> He moaned over her screams. As he moaned he knees buckled sending him down to the ground. Fey lifted the scared bundle of fur form his back placing her onto the ground. As he did so the large gem he'd been taking such good care of slipped between his fingers hitting the ground with a single clear note before rolling down the street. <span style='color:purple'>"Nooooo!"</span>
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>The little ball of fluff stood still and shivered, snuffling and muttering to herself to calm her psyche down. She wasn't hyper anymore. She just sat on the ground and stared at the water outside. That always helped.</span></div></div> <span style='color:orange'><span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I'm out of ideas. D:</td></tr></table> </span>
They looked around nervously before glancing at the orb as it rolled down the street. <span style='color:purple'>"Um sorry about that Llina...But could you keep an eye on my shopping for me? When I return you could have something from there as a reward. Pick it now if you want. Something shiny."</span> With that he dropped the bags softly onto the ground beside her and ran off after the orb shouting sorry when ever he bumped into other shoppers. <span style='color:purple'>"Where the hell has it gone?"</span> Fey groaned as he stopped at the bottom of the rise. Fey'yore tried to spot the red twinkle but this was proving difficult when he felt guilty for scaring the little thill. He sat down on a small bench crossing his legs.<span style='color:purple'>"There's only one thing for it."</span> As he closed his eyes and started searching it out with his mind.
<span style='color:orange'><span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Yey! Jem is here!</td></tr></table> </span> <div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>She gave an eager nod, barely making another sound. Slowly the fear would wear off, and she'd be her usual bouncy self again. "Erm, is this yours?" a calm tone wafted around Fey. Glimmering ivory hair, spiked up like some kind of anime character, and a ruby crystal in his hand. "It rolled just by my feet. I didn't want anyone to fall over on it." He let out a strange chuckle. "Although that would be funny."</span></div></div>
Fey'yore was deep in his odd meditations. Fey's mental search was taking a while everywhere his soul looked was blank and empty. <span style='color:purple'>"Where the hell is it?"</span> He grumbled in the halfway realm. Suddenly the shining, glittering gem floated out of nowhere increasing in brightness as it strangely came towards him. <span style='color:purple'>"What the...."</span> Fey almost said before a voice wrenched him from the semi-realm. <span style='color:red'>"Erm, is this yours?"</span> For the split second he was there Fey glimpsed Jem's soul. The love almost blinded him. <span style='color:purple'>"Whoa! Oh...um....no. But I was looking for it."</span> Rubbing his eyes and erasing the tears. Fey'yore smiled at Jem as the astral world evaporated into nothingness. <span style='color:purple'>"Thank you for finding it. I was about to give up."</span> Sighing the last part. He unfolded his legs which clicked now and then. With a flick of his head he moved the braids from his face.
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>The lean Anubi could only make out the squinting this violet Pendragon was doing with his eyes. He offered the male a hand up, but could not understand what could possibly be hurting Fey's eyes. "Are you going to be alright, mate?" the stranger handed the gem back to this new aquaintance. "Heh, gem..." He took a look upwards. "Nice to meet you..." Before turning away, he nearly forgot, and slapped the palm of his hand to his forehead. "Doy! I was going to ask if you'd seen a little female, shorter than me, with bright amber eyes like jewels. Have you?"</span></div></div>
Fey'yore took the gem staring at it. Strange for something to try to hide from him. Fey of all people. After a short while he placed it into his denim short pocket. <span style='color:purple'>"I'm fine...."</span> Lifting himself up with the offered hand. <span style='color:purple'>"Fey'yore by the way. As for the little ball of chaos...she's back up the hill, probably looking at all the shiny things in my shopping since I said she could have something for guarding the bags."</span> Fey'yore looked around for a while before leading the rather gaunt arden up the road smiling. <span style='color:purple'>"I'd steel yourself by the way. She may have gone hyper again..."</span> He saw in the distance Llina sitting on the floor surrounded by some of the objects, noticing the smile even from that far away.
<div style="display:table;margin:0 auto;width:500px;border:1px solid #fff;background: #000 url(http://greywolf.critter.net/images/iron ... mental.jpg) no-repeat top left;"><div style="float:right;width:300px;padding: 10px;border-left:1px solid #000;background-image:url(http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... ges/01.jpg)"><span style='color:red'>The stranger gave an odd snicker. "I'm Jemdtsyjn Todel." He even gave a courteous little bow. He noted the Pendragon's attire as well. "Cool name. And don't worry about the ball of fluff, if it is the one I'm thinking of. I'm sure it's just a lack of sleep." He couldn't hold back a grin. "Reminds me of my girl back home..." Llina wasn't sure what to do with all the shopping. She didn't really need persuading to care for it when there were many shiny things. Her own precious oculi glittered once again with happiness. She'd soon be bouncy and hyper once again...</span></div></div>
Fey smiled and laughed at his comments. <span style='color:purple'>"Me too."</span> Fey'yore ran ahead dreading just how much shopping Llina could have unloaded onto the ground. Fey slipped the orb into his pocket glad at it's tightness. <span style='color:purple'>"So my hyper little friend."</span> Sliding to a stop beside her nearly gasping at the small mess. <span style='color:purple'>"What did you choose?"</span> He noticed that she hadn't looked yet in the small purple bag containing a few pendants one he had a feeling she'd end up liking. Something red and silver.
'I don't know which one to have...' Llina blinked hard. So hard to choose, so hard to choose...if there was a red and black one, she would ask for that one, added with a little 'pretty please'. But a glimmer flickered in her eyes as she caught sight of Jemdtsyjn. Waving madly, the Anubi's thoughts were confirmed. 'Yeah, that's the little ball of fluff I know...'
