Tsuj ran to Thi and Thi snatched him up. She hoped the creature hadn't heard her exclimation. All she could do was hope that either Vlun or Tael would find a way out. Thi placed Tsuj on the ground. She began to walk slowly over to the enomours monster standing before them.

The beast grunted low in its throat before letting out a loud -Aawwwrrr!!!- It was a growl, a gurgle, a roar, all at once. Tael had never seen something like this. Crud, he didn't know how to fight. Katrina had always tried to teach him, but no, he had to be all pacifist about it. He wished that he had learned more of those techniques she'd tried so hard to show him. Perhaps there was some way to lure it over there? Some way.... Tael couldn't finish his thought, a loud sneeze issuing from his nose. That couldn't have been good. The reptile turned it's head and roared again. -Aawwwrrrr!!- It became more direct, quicker in pace, headed straight for Tael. Oh thes! Tael could do nothing but tremble there at the fountain. The 'thing' stampeded toward him, seeming to ignore the others. THES THES THES!
Tsuj's eyes became red as he raised a paw at the reptile and spit out a phrase as though it was venom <span style='color:purple'>Bela panym vli emsy sha uej!</span> The reptile flew into the air and all the way to the celing as Tsuj's eyes returned to normal color and his tiny body collapsed on the ground.
Vlun watched as the creature went for Tael and then seemed to defy gravity and leap into the air. It went all the way to the ceiling and as suspended there. Then he heard a small thud of something falling. He looked toward it and saw Tsuj. Just then the creature let out another blood curtling cry and started to fall towards them at an alarming rate. Vlun raced over to where Tsuj was and picked him up and caried him to the small creavice that the closed door still provided. Vlun had no time to think, it was like his body was on auto pilot. Suddenly the creature was infront of him and the ground shook violently, cracks spreading out across the floor. A deafening crash sounded in his large ears. "How do we get it in there?" Vlun shouted, disregarding the already broken silence.
Tael shook off the feeling of death and flapped his wings to get himself airborn. Landing near Vlun, he shot a quick glance at Tsuj. That nioti would be something one day.... No time for such thoughts now though. The 'dragon's eyes zipped around the room. He was responsible for them, all of them, and he had frozen. He could not allow that to happen again. Couldn't. Tael's heart thumped unnaturaly against his chest as his mind raced to formulate a plan. "I'll lure him in there." he said simply, watching as the beast slowly attempted to rise to it's feet. It was not all that intelligent from all Tael could gather. That would be to their advantage. All Vlun had to do was chase the thing over towards the fountain. The opening was big enough. "You know pyrokenesis. Think you can force it towards the fountain?" The eldest of the group looked at Tsuj's little body again. What would have happened if Tsuj hadn't been there? There was no doubt, that little pendragon had saved his live. Now he had to do the same for him. For all of them. Now all he had to do was wait for Vlun to agree to his part of the plan.
Thi watched as the beastly creature flew towards the celing and saw Tsuj collapse on the ground. As the reptile landed with a thud, Thi ran before him and tried to lure him towards the fountain. The creature saw her and began to give chase.
Vlun would have grinned at the chance to show off his abilities but the situation made him do otherwise. He hesitated a mement but at length answered. "Yeah, I can try...." Just then he noticed the creature turn and chace Thi. Vlun jumped into action and yelled and screamed at the creature, trying to get it to notice him. He was sweating from fear. This was such an aventurous situation, something he was not used to. But he had to keep Thi from harm. Just then he decided to put Tael's plan to work. He reached behind him and and gathered two lrge fire balls in his paws. They where not big enough to seriously hurt a creature that size, but they served his purpose. With a mighty toss he sent one flying at the creatures head and the other at it's torso. Both hit their marks and the sound of birning flesh filled his ears. The fireballs dissapeared but the wounds they made remained. The creature roared in pain and Vlun took the opportinuty. Closing his eyes and consentrating all his strength, he conjured two more fireballs in his paws. They grew and grew the more he stayed in his meditative state. The grew so large that they would have burned him had he not controlled them enough to bend their influence away from himself. They grew increadibly large until they were molded into one, an energy ball slightly larger than a beach ball. He opened his eyes and looked at the creature. Though this flameing mass was still not enough to kill, or seriously main the creature it would certainly influence it enough for their purposes.
-AWWWAAAARRRR!!!- The creature fell to its side and flashed rather large teeth. Oh, this was not going as Tael had hoped at all. Everyone was in danger. Tael had extremely little control over the situation. He did not have time to think though, and he too threw himself into action, charging ahead of the reptilian thing and hopefully getting it towards that fountain. What he would do if his plan failed? If getting the beast into the hole didn't work? No time to think of that now. In a fit of rage and frustration, the monster took a swipe at Tael with a front leg. A blow from that thing could break most every bone in his body. Thank goodness the attack fell just inches away from the 'dragon's right side. The gust of wind created was enough to make him lose his balance, just for a moment. The beast seemed to be pondering whether to go after Tael or fight Vlun off. Round little burns covered that one side of the guardian beast, testament to Vlun's attempts. But now they needed to convince the thing to get over to the fountain, and Tael had to manage that without anyone getting hurt. He had already failed Tsuj, poor thing...
Thi watched Vlun and Tael fight of the reptilian creature chasing her. Tsuj woke up with a moan and Thi ran to him, scooping him up.
Vlun could see Tael trying to atract the beast's attention. In a moment he relized what he was doing. He was attracting attention to himself. Valiant as he might have been a mement ago, the consequences of his actions only now fully hit him. He stood still and willed the creature to noticed Tael. It was not an all together selfish thought, the creature chasing someone would get it to the hole faster than him trying to force it. At this thought an idea formed in his head. "Tael, Thi, You two can try to get it to the entrance, once its close enough I can try and force it inside." He said, wondering if they would go along with it. They would be in more danger than he would, but then again they could always fly away. Plus he could not keep up a barage of fireballs very long.
Had the situation not been so immediate, Tael would have rolled his eyes. For a journalist, he really must have poor communication skills... "Can do." With that sorted out, he opened his wings wide and flapped them once or twice in hopes of antagonizing the beast. -Aawwaar!- Turning, the thing took a few lumbering steps towards him, and towards the fountain. Now if he could time this right without getting anyone else hurt... Tael stepped backwards slowly, luring the thing along. He shot a glance to Thi, assuring himself that everyone would get out of here just fine.
Thi caught his eyes and with a re-assuring nod, began to inch towards the exit with the half-consious Tsuj in her arms.
Vlun walked silently behind the creature. He did not want to atract it's attention until the right time, doing so could mean one or more of their lives. He held the two balls of flame infront of him, ready at any given moment to fling them into the creature's face. This would be their only shot, or so he thought, and they had better get it right. He shivered at this thought. He watched Tael and Thi, waiting for their signal.
Tael took one last look at the three of them. "I would feel much better if Tsuj were in a safe location..." She could not move away now though. Moving away would draw the beast's attention. "Alright, I'm going to go for it. 3... 2... 1!" The 'dragon let his wings spread wide and bounded back towards the fountain, egging the thing on. It did not need much persuasion though as it took its lumbering yet swift steps towards Tael. Just a few feet more, now if he could get out of the way at just the right moment things would be fine. Thi and Tsuj were relatively safe. The monster seemed to have a one track mind and devoted most of its attention to this new chase. Perfect. The opening was right there. It was all up to Vlun to make this work right.
Tsuj opened his eyes and looked at the giant beast but he didn't scream <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I'm so sorry. I'm really sad today. All of my posts are gonna be short</td></tr></table>
Vlun followed, sweat beads dripping from his brow, not only because of their situation, but the heat of the flames so near to him where starting to have their toll. He waited untill Tael was in place. Every moment he thought about going in to action but waited one more second just incase. Finaly he decided it was the right time. Without hesitation he flung one of the flaming masses at the creature. It hit right below the creature's neck and it yelled aloud in pain and surprise. It turned to look at Vlun and as it did the other fire ball contacted with it's face. It screamed again, an ear splitting sound. It took a couple steps back and teatered on the edge of the opening. Vlun huriedly conjured up another ball of flame, not as large as the others but large enough for it's purpose. He flung it at the creature, a little off target but still connecting. The creature stepped back once more and lost balance. It fell backward into the opening with a loud roar and ground wrenching thud.
As the monstor fell with a splash and a thud, it reached out and took a swipe at Tael who had just not been able to get out of the way fast enough. The 'dragon wasn't seriously injuerd, hardly hurt at all, but he slid backwards as a result, nearly falling down the pit as well. He hung there at the edge, lifting himself up with some difficulty as the fountain lowered again to rest in it's original place.A sigh of relief came hrom his mouth as Tael brushed off his legs and shook out his wings. The light in the eyes of the satues at the opposite side of the room flickered and went out. The large heavy stone door rose as the funtain sank, a foul, stale air spilling out into the room.
Vlun almost had no time to enjoy the fact that they had actualy pulled this thing off. Just as the door was opening he let out a weak yell of pain, as his head exploded with a massive headache. He took a sharp intake of breath and his face wrenched up in pain. "My head!" He said through clenched teeth as the pain continued. He knew it would go on for a while, but that did not stop him from wining about it. Just then the stench from the next room wafted up to him. He coughed slightly and turned to Tael. "What is that stench!?" Vlun said, still clutching his aching head. Whatever it was, it had to be better than fishzilla.
