1. Tsuj stuck his tounge out of the side of his mouth in thought before nodding, grabbing the camera, and scaling Tael.

  2. Vlun walked further into the water untill it covered most of his forelegs. He shivered slightly and looked around to see if anyone had noticed. His eyes looked regretfull. Real smart vacation choice. He told himself over and over again.

  3. Tael winced as his camera was wrenched from his fingers and spread his wings so as not to get them wet. There was nothing more uncomfortable than soggy feathers in a desert. After he thought that Tsuj was situated, the 'dragon made his way into the water. It was actually sort of nice after the heat before. Then again, everything in this cave or temple or whatever it was was rather cool. It was nice.

This did not look like a planned pool. More than likely, whatever source all this water was coming from had slowly worked it's way into this place. "Sailing, sailing...." Tael half-sung. Halfway there and he had to tread a little water. He sunk a little lower in the water, but kept allbut Tsuj's paws dry. That meant his camera was safe. It would be best to get across before something happened to it. The way he thought of the thing, you would think it was his child. In a way it was. He loved that camera. And so the other side of the water was approaching quickly.

  4. Thi slowly walked into the water. Being very cold, Thi shivred before diving underneath. Thi swam quickly under the water and when she made it out onto the other side, she shook the excess water out of her fur with one quick, fluid motion

  5. Tsuj held the camera tight and looked down at the water. He stuck his tounge out at it and a creature in the water did the same. Getting angry, he stuck his tounge out again just as the creature in the water decided too. Tsuj stretched a paw out and splashed the water, the creature ran away as Tsuj said "hmph" (Hint: it's Tsuj's reflection.)

  6. Vlun walked further into the water, his eyes closed, trying to not to think of what the deps of the pool might hold. Suddenly he felt something rub against his leg. He stood rigid for a moment, frozen. Then as quick as lightning he sprinted for the opposite shore.

    "AAAHHHH!!!!"

He yelled as he reached the other side. His eyes where wide and he looked back into the water. It may have only been Tael's or even Tsuj's tail, but Vlun did not care. He had was out of the water.

  7. Tael quirked a brow at Vlun and stepped lightly ashore, bending down a bit to let Tsuj off his back. "What is it?" he asked Vlun, holding out a paw to the youngest 'dragon for his camera and other belongings. He threw a glance over his shoulder at the water and looked back to Vlun.

  8. Thi rested a gentle paw on Vlun's shoulder. Tsuj handed back the things. Thi looked at Vlun What is it?

  9. Vlun looked over at Tael, then at Thi and then back at the water.

    "I don......It was nothing."

He sighed and looked at the tunnel ahead of them. Good it did not look like there was more water any time soon. He walked away from the water's edge and continued down the passage, a worried look on his face. It was nothing. He said to himself as he walked. Just your imagination.

Teal frowned but then took back his things. "Thank you, Tsuj. You did a wonderful job." The 'dragon cast a glance back at the water as he swung the straps over his neck. Mentally shaking it off, as well as physically spraying excess water from his coat with three fluid shakes, Tael nodded and waked on forward.

"I think we're just about to hit something more interesting...."

A faint red light was coming from what looked like the end of this tunnel. There was an open archway and crimson reflections of some sort bounced on the floor. Maybe this was the start of the 'temple'.

  11. Tsuj seeing the light, ran ahead of the adults to explore. Turning the corner and into the room, he gasped in suprize. WOW!

  13. Tael's heatbeat quickened along with his pace. Tentative paws wrapped around his camera as he strode over to where Tsuj stood glancing up and into the room before him. Awe and those ame crinsom lights played all over his face.

It was a large room with a high ceiling supported by ancient columns of stone. At one end was a fountain, apparently powered by the same source of running water that they had encounterd before. At the end of the chamber opposite this fountain lay the source of the lights. Two large statues of what could only be pendragons stood guard to some sealed off entrance. The eyes of these 'dragons glowed bright red. Their gaze lit up the entire room with an eerie glow. But what was that? Rubies? Some other form of Fronima based light?

-click! Click click!- Tael snapped pictures of it all, tilting his camera at different angles. After those three he stopped and check his film levels before returning his ggaze to his surroundings. The statues and closed door were particularly captivating.

  14. As thi walked inside, her mouth opened in wonderment. This was amazing. She closed her eyes as tears of happiness flowed. Tsuj held her leg tightly in fear.

  15. Vlun stummbled into the wide open area. His face was imediately swept over by an expretion of pure amazement. "Wow."He said as he made his way passed the others. It was all he could think to say. He walked around the large room, weaving through the columns. He tilted his head upward at the ceiling that disapeared into the darkness. He walked over to the foot of one of the statues and looked up into it's eire gaze. He walked over to the doorway that they guarded and examined it. It was close in and it did not look easily exesable. He turned to the others and grinned. "Now this...THIS is a vacation."

  16. Tael frowned just a bit. Now how were they supposed to get out? He gazed around, not fearful of traps, for if there had been any, Vlun would have CERTAINLY set each and every one of them off. So long as he did not go meddling with that door.

"Now what was this place built for?" he wondered to himself quietly. Tael strode up to the base of the left statue and peered at it for a good long while, looking for any signs of lettering or some hint at it's purpose. Nothing of interest really aside from the fact that it was a giant pendragon with ominous glowing eyes.

Lightly padding over to the door though, proved much more interesting. Some forms around the door seemed reminiscant of ancient Ramanthian, but they still had that odd twist to them. "What was it built for indeed... he mused, trying to interpret what allthose odd little signs meant.

  17. Thi walked in after Tael. Tsuj ran ahead and looked at the giant pendragon. He looked at it's eyes and opened his wings. Flapping them real hard, he managed to get off the ground and to hover near one of it's eyes. Turning around, he held his tail flame near the eye. A rumbling started up.

  18. Vlun looked around, hoping he had not set the rumbling off. He looked up at Tsuj. "What did you do?" He said, a paniked look crossing his face. The floor started to shake and the cieling cracked. He looked around for something that would serve as a shelter. As he did a small peice of rock came tumbling down at him. He jumped out of the way, but was assured now that they needed cover. "Tael, How do we open the door?!" He said, rushing over to his side, for the area beneath the statues and the other columns around the room seemed to be the safest places to hide.

Sorry it took so long.....Must add a little excitement once more. ^^

  19. Well darn, how should he know how to open the door?! Tael ran his paw over the letters, eyes wide with need. " 'Sah aiax uja sah fimpy saf sah tayl...' The... What is this?!" He was panicked. A few pebbles landed near him and he sidesteppe a rock as it tumbled from above him. The words had such an odd spin on them. Nothing was even written the same way. There was not set pattern. It seemed to jump between ancient ramanthian and some other language.

"The fountain of knowledge... has... eyes... enlightenment... light... Two heads are better than one?" Tael's head was spinning, but he acted on the only idea that had popped into his head. Jumping off the top of the stairs, he let his wings open, dodging another piece of rubble as he took flight into the confined little area. "Tsuj!" he shot, rather more sharply than he had meant under the circumstances. "Stay in front of the statue. Use your tailflame in front of his eyes got it?" Tael flapped heavilly in front of the second statue, his own flame blazing.

Something in the eerie glow solidified. Goodness, hopefully this would work! The eyes of the statue were bright, strong, piercing. THe gaze, now that one looked closer, fell on the fountain at the other end of the room. Please, let this work!

  20. Tsuj smiled. He had finnally done something right. He nodded and hovered in front of the statue was Thi dived to take cover with Vlun.
