  1. Vlun watched as Tael went up into the air. Vlun had never really been jealous of those that could fly, he had his own qualities, but right then it seemed like it would be bliss to fly over the desert without ever having to even step foot on it. He sighed and started to run, his large hind legs pumping fast. He had always been a good runner, he could go on for hours as long as the course did not go to much up hill. He would never even relize how tired his legs were untill he had stopped to take a break. That was when he would feel the weariness and not be able to start back up again.

He looked up at Tael and Tsuj in the sky, and holding up his paw he gave a "thumbs up" sign.

  2. Tsuj watched carefully as Tael took off. He held the camera tight and excalimed -WHEE!-

  3. A small grin passed over Tael's features as he took a long flap of his wings. Seeing that Vlun was laready running below, he continued his path. This would still take a few hours, and so the 'dragon returned to the game he had been playing earlier. Only this time, he included the others. "I spy with my little eye, something that is.... yellow.

Tael was a little edgy about his camera being held by a child while he was in fligh, but he supposed he cold always just catch it. Hopefully all that training had done something for his manuverability. "And Tsuj'ni, would you mind putting the camera back in my pack? ...Carefully?"

  4. Vlun ran along easily, his feet pounding the sand in large rythimic motions. He looked up at Tael.

"I wonder, could it posibly be...sand?"

He chuckled to himself and continued on, he knew he would have to keep this up for quite a while but he was confident he could do it. He continued the game, thinking of nothing better to do.

    "I spy something blue!"

  5. "Goodness!" Tael said, forcing shock into his voice. "How did he guess that so fast, Tsuj? He took another lazy wingbeat, warm air taking the place of that which had been used. "Hm... Now what's blue out here?" He questioned, still worried over his camera.

  6. Tsuj shrugged happily. He was so happy to finnally be in flight. He put the camera back in Tael's pack then looked up and gasped. He pointed skywards. -Sky!- He said

  7. "Jeez, why didn't I guess that?" Tael said smiling. The flight was really quite enjoyable, but he knew that running was much more exhausting than using wind currents to push yourself along. THey would rest in a little while if Vlun needed it. His camera was safe now tough, that was good. There was still water and food. They should be out of here in no time. The 'dragon peered below him, checking to see if their companion was still on the same course.

((OOC: Hm... we need a plot twist. Scratch that, we need a plot! Any ideas? I've got one but it may push the movement of this thread back even more. So... yeah, ideas?))

  8. ((OOC: O_o Um Vlun could get bit by some snake, for a twist, but as for a plot in general I am beat. I think your idea will have to do, whatever it is.))

Vlun looked up at the two winged pendragons. This was boring, his mind kept floating back to the heat of the sand on his feet, it did not hurt him, he was used to heat, but it was increasingly uncomfortable and the more he thought about it the worse it got. He sighed and looked up, he might need a break soon. He stopped running for a moment, instead of calling out to them to stop he reached behind him and cupped some of the wreathing fire on his back in his hands. He aimed for a spot a ways a head of Tael and threw the small bit of fire. That should get their attention. He smirked. He loved to show off whenever he could, and alway felt proud when he did.

  9. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td><span style='color:gray'>Nope, can't think of a thing. But for now, Tsuj is going to be scared of the fire</span></td></tr></table>

Tsun screamed as the fire burst in front of him. Even though it was far ahead. it still startled him. He backed up and fell off of Tael's back. His wings tightly folded as he didn't exactly know what to do.

  10. ((OOC: Well... now I've totally forgotten what my idea was. O.o Let's just hope this thing evolves on its own until smeone gets a visit from the plot fairy.))

Tael swerved sharply as the weight tumbled from his back. There was no time to regain his balance. The 'dragon turned and swooped down after Tsuj. "Wings!" he sent. "Open your wings!" He dove, his own wings folded in tightly as he raced after the little pendragon. Fo the sake of all things good, would he just open his wings and FLY?! Tael raced, forcing himself to go faster and faster towards the ground.

  11. A horified face passed over Vlun's face. Dang. He thought simply as he saw the small pendragon fall. He started running towards him, as fast as his wearied leg would carry him. They hurt now that he had stopped, but he raced over. He knew he would not be able to make it, they had gotten to far ahead when he had stopped. Sand is soft... His thought was pathetic he knew, he raced towards him. He saw Tael falling from the sky after Tsuj. Hope he makes it to him.

    Fly Tsuj, FLY!!!!

  12. Open his wings? Why, everytime he did that, he was always swept up by a great gust of wind. Fly Tsuj, FLY! Humpf! They knew perfectly well he couldn't. But, it was worth a shot. He popped open his wings. They caught a slight uplift and he soared higher. Tsuj gasped with suprise. Was he, Tsuj Ledshap, actually flying! For the first time, Tsuj could fly with the others who lways mocked him.

  13. A long sigh of relief came from Tael. Swooping low, he continued his flight underneath the little 'dragon, just to be safe. Thank goodness. He glanced down at Vlun and gave a reprimanding glare before looking back up at Tsuj. "Great, Tsuj! That's wonderful! Do you think you can make a landing? We need to go talk with Vlun..."

  14. Vlun stopped and fell down into the sand with relief and imediately wished he hadn't. The tiny particles embended themselves in his face. He sat up and brushed them away and looked up. At leas Tsuj was alright. He didn't think that the little pendragon would get so surprised. Now you've done it....again. He though. He had a knack for situations like this. He looked up once again. This was just what he needed. He stood up from the sand and started walking closer to were the two were flying. Look on the bright side Vlun, the little dude can fly now! This did not seem to cheer him much.

  15. -WHEE!- Tsuj cried happily. He pouted when Tael asked him to make a landing but he tried it anyhow. He angled his wings to the ground slightly and put out his feet. He didn't know however to backwing so he landed on his feet but fell into a tumbling roll.

  16. Tael winced, seeing a little ball of sand and 'dragon go rolling through the sand. He spread his wings fully and took one long, powerful flap, which landed him gracefully. Sand was displaced to either side of him as he trudged over to Vlun. "Very nice. Some day you may find that pride does not always yield positive results..." He glowered, more than slightly upset at what had happened. "Thanks for kicking the kid out of the proverbial nest though."

Tael shook his head and sighed, plopping his rear in the sand and thinking things over.

  17. Vlun watched as Tsuj colided with the sand. He let out a small groan, what had ne gotten himself into, middle of the desert and he had to do something stupid.

"I didn't know he would get scared! Its not my fault."

Vllun said, not willing to let himself be so easily dismised. It was true what Tael said, pride was something that got him in bad positions and in this case worse positions. Vlun glowered. He had had no way of knowing, but he still knew it had been a stupid idea.

  18. "No, you did not know what would happen. I'll give you that. But you did it anyway didn't you?" That's it, Tael was turning into an old man already. He sighed again, glancing over at Tsuj. "Just try to control yourself from now on, Vlun. The strongest 'dragons are the ones who use their heads." At that,he tapped the pendragon before him on his forehead and continued to sit.

"It's alright..." he said at length. "Just be glad he helped himself before something bad happened." At that, Tael stood to shake off some sand and trotted over to Tsuj. "Hey, are you alright? You did great. Maybe once we get out of this desert, I'll teach you how to land." A soft grin replaced the spot where a tight frown had resided only moments ago.

  19. Tsuj shook himself. Spraying the sand that clung to his fur everywhere. He scratched his side and looked up at Tael. -Sand is itchy!- He announced and nodded his head vigiously at the idea of learning to land.

  20. Seemed like a good idea at the time. He mumbled inaudably to himself. Vlun didn't know how to feel, he had won the argument, at least he thought he had and yet he was still being given friendly advice. He shook his head to shake off the feeling and smirked. He looked around, they did not seem to be anywhere different than where they had been when they started. He looked at Tsuj.

    "Good flying."

He said with another smirk. He sat down in the heated sand and laid his head back.
