She rose her head above the water and shook out her hair. She sighed and slowly back padled to the shore.
Jyhum laid on his back as well, looking up at the sky. "A storm is coming, and a bad one by the looks of it." he said, noticing dark clouds.
Iyoj nodded and swam ashore. she shook out her fur and smoothed it down. <span style='color:orange'>by the wind.. it should be here soon </span> she said as a large gust of wind ruffled her fur. She looked to Jyhum and then back to the clouds rolling over the sky like a raging heard of animals causing dust on the horizon.
"Then lets find some shelter, and fast." He said, getting out of the water and drying himself. "I think that theres a cave over this way." He said, picking up his pack and motioning for her to follow.
Iyoj nodded and followed him. They made there way to a small cave in a rock face facing the oposite side of the water. She sat down neer the entrance and leaned back against the wall. there was graass and moss in the cave to make it comfortable.
"Its starting." Jyhum noted, with a lightning bolt striking just outside the cave a second later. "Lets just hope the water doesn't get too high." he said, seeing the rain coming down in sheets.
She nodded and shuffledd to the middle of the cave. She found a small pit like this.. showing someone had been there before them. She found some twigs and smiled as she started a small fire. She sat back next to it and motioned for Jyhum To come sit.
She smiled and looked into the fire. it was entertaining to watch the flames dance. She sat back against an outlet in the cave wall and watched the fire and the thunder boomed and the lightning flashed through the sky...though she heard none of it. She lookeed to jyhum and smiled sweetly. <span style='color:orange'>so where are you from?</span> She said trying to break the silence.
"I'm from swaraj." he said, leaning against the cave wall. "Where are you from?" <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>ack short post.</td></tr></table>
She chuckled and looked out to the rain. it seemed she had spaced out... <span style='color:orange'> actualy i was born inthis same jungle. dont remember much about life here... My mother was nice but my father was the biggest jerk in the world!</span> She said slamming her hand down into cave ground. Memories swam back into her mind. She could feel the seering pain in her arm again as she held it. She sighed and looked back into the fire.. it seemed to calm her soul.
Jyhum grabbed her arm, looking for any signs of fracturing in it. "Geez, you are lucky. That hit against a cave wall should have broken something." He said, concern in his voice. "...Sorry sorry sorry." he said, noticing what he was doing.
she smiled slgihty and shook her head at his apologies. <span style='color:orange'>hhm.. its okay...</span> She flexed her arm and sunk her head into her hands. <span style='color:orange'>One on these days.. i swear i'll kill him..</span> She said to herself, lifting her head and clenching her paws.
"Calm down, it will do you no good to get angry now. Besides, what did he do to you?" He asked, sitting next to her.
she sighed and turned her head to face him. then lookedd back into the fire. <span style='color:orange'>He... he tryed to distroy my family.. he killeed my mother and trryed to get rid of me as well..</span> She held her shoulder, where a long scar layed. It went from the side of her shoulder to just above her collor bone just beside her neck. <span style='color:orange'>that bastard...</span> She mumbled to herself. <span style='color:orange'>I was only six...</span> She shook her head and turned to Jyhum with a smile. <span style='color:orange'>er. um.. sorry.. didnt mean to ramble on..</span>
"Hold still." He said examining the wound. "It was inflicted with great hate, and it wont heal, unless treated by someone who has great love for you." he said, letting her arm go and sitting back down. "Besides, it shouldn't be hard to find someone like that, you are attractive and you seem real nice and........" He stopped, realizing where he was going with this. "Um, forget it."
she smiled and chuckled. Was he falling for her..? Her day was a bit happier even if the raain poured like a mad beast outside. <span style='color:orange'>dont worry about it..</span> She layed back against the cave wall and closed her eyes. sleep pressed against her eyes.
Jyhum watched the rain fall, letting it relax him. {That was a close one, i have to stop slipping like that.} he thought, keeping watch over the enterance. "However, i ment every word." he whispered, still staring out into the rain.
Her eyes chanced a look at him. she closeed them again adn nodded. <span style='color:orange'>thank you..</span> Her head fell onto her chest as sleep finaly overcame her body. OOC: jujst go to the next day.. im not even suposedd to be on.. XD
