Her windpipe completely shut, Eve felt a scream come up her chest, but stopped in her throat. She writhed violently and began clawing the sides of her assailant as hard as she could, contorting herself to be able to reach her. As soon as Serria's claws jabbed into the sides of her neck, Eve knew that was the last straw. In a vain attempt to escape, she pulled her paw back and with all her force, reached up to her assailant's face and jabbed her in the eye with a finger. It was her last chance.
Serria immediately pulled away, her eye suffering little to no damage from Eve's desparate attempt to blind her. As she released her claws from Eve's neck blood gushed out like a water fountain of blood. Hmph! Trying to blind me, desparate fool, don't even bother doing anything else. Your dead now. No one will save you now.
Despite the blood gushing from her neck, Serria had not ruptured any major blood vessels and Eve took this opportunity to put her entire force into rolling away from underneath her. She scrambled to her feet and pressed her paw to her neck to stop the bleeding. Eve blinked repeatedly as tears welled in her eyes from both fear and pain. But soon, she put her paw back to the ground, the bleeding having completely ceased, and began to snarl, though weakly, at Serria. "Listen, dear. You're much too cocky. But I _will_ fight you to the death..." And with those few fateful words, Eve lunged for her, ready to tear her apart, no matter what it took.
Serria sent another dark orb her way, then quickly getting out of the way. Don't you call me dear missy. Her tail lashed, her white tail flame burning fiercly
In an instant, Eve dodged away from the orb. She sighed as it hit a tree behind her. "Listen, DEAR, you'll have to do better than that. Come attack me - That's the only way to actually hurt me," she said with a taunting voice. "You're not...scared, are you?" Eve was becoming confident that she could win this.
Serria's eyes flashed. Scared? Pitiful child. I can see the fear in your eyes. You know you are going to die, why do you prolong it? Its going to happen anyway dear, all you are doing is defending. If you keep up like this you will soon be nothing but a memory to the wind. No one else. A grin framed her face. or did you actually think anyone actually cared for you? foolish child. If anyone did care, wouldn't they have come by now? What do you think you are fighting for? For people to suffer your existance? Please child you are just an annoying little insect waiting to be squashed! and with that, she dived at Eve, her claws ready to go in for the kill.
In the midst of all the day's terror, submerged in insults, scolding, and physical pain, Eve just crumbled on the spot, as if giving up on continuing to defend herself. She allowed Serria to pounce upon her. She was just so exhausted and sick of trying. "You know what? Fine..."
Serria's claws once again dug into Eve's neck. Now that's a good girl. It's about time you just gave in. Say bye bye now. She released her bloodstained claws from Eves neck, along with waves of blood.
