  1. What had come over him? Had he just done what thought he had? He couldn't fathom the enormity of it all. But somehow, under the layers of axiety and stress, he felt deeply relieved, strangely calm and somewhat serene as though his words had been on his tongue all along, waiting for the right moment to be said. As though, somehow, it had been the most natural, the most normal thing to do. To ask for her hand in mariage.

As these mixed feelings conflicted in his mind, he kept his cool eyes fixed on hers, awaiting a response. She was defnitely crying now, the tears rolling down her beautiful face. A pang of guilt, had he been to sudden? But no, they were not tears of grief... But of, what was it? Relief, Joy? He dearly hoped so. He didn't have to wait long for a response, and though it was not verbal, it was explicit enough to shatter any doubts or regrets.

His golden-rimmed eyes grew wide as she hugged him in tight but comforting embrace.

    "..Of course I will!"

Eyes still as wide as saucers, Tylael returned the hug, and leaning slightly, he couldn't help but whisper "You will?" . A smile slowly weaved itself into his dark features and soon he was grinning from ear to ear.

"You will?" he said again, louder this time. Tears were once again rolling freely down his cheeks and all he could do was look down at his beloved lovingly.

"Mrs Tapokaj Les..." he tested on his lips.

Remaining in a tight and affectionate embrace, the canine plants a quick kiss on her lover's cheek, tears too, streaming down her face. Within a day or so, she'd found her true love.. And within a mere day or two, not only had they met - they'de arranged marriage and started a family.

"You mean, Mrs Tapokaj Em Yjumda-Les!"

The femme grins lightly, making it clear that she certainly wasn't about to give up her name that easily. She would simply ad her beloved's to the end of it.</span>

  3. Tylael smiled at this, his beloved was certainly not one to be easily pushed around. He had been meaning to add her last name, but unconsciously had said that out loud. Besides, it occured to him, never before had he heard her last name.

"Of course, Mrs Em Yjumda-Les!" he assented gazing at her lovingly.

This was all happening so quickly, never had he ever imagined so many things, good, wonderful things, would happen to him in so little time! They had so much to look forward to... The wedding, the hatching... They'd have to settle down somewhere, he'd have to find a good job...

But before all this, as his stomach was now reminding him, came other things. such as breakfast.

He frowned at this. They had no food. Looking around them he though he recognised what, he hoped, were probably fruit trees. Again, his thoughts wandered as he decided that freshly plucked fruits and the water of the river would be an adequate meal.

"Shall we try and find ourselves some breakfast, Love?"

    "Breakfast sounds fantastic, love."

Hesitating, longing only to stare at her beloved, amber gaze was soon torn away from the handsome green male. It traced over the trees, glancing at the various shapes and colours of foreign fruits. Surely, something up there had to be edible? But, even if it was, how on earth would they get to them? She'd have to watch about her food intake now, too. Eat healthy, and it plenty.

After all, Love, you are eating for two, now..

A smile came to canine lips atthis. Eating for two. She was going to be a mother! The whole situation still hadn't hit her properly.. Although now, every time it came a little closer, the thoughts and images came with a wash of joy - no longer fear.

"D'you recognise any of those fruits?"

I was thinking, maybe we could end this thread soon? And maybe start roleplaying the hatching? </td></tr></table>

"None, Love.", he relpied, his gaze following hers. He approached the tree, and plucked one of the colourful round fruits. Examining it, as if for imperfections, he found none on its purple surface. He didn't know much about botany, or fruits for that matter, but to him it looked like a common plum. Only larger. A lot larger. But it couldn't be poisonous, could it?

Shrugging, he plucked another and handed it to Tapokaj.

"I think these plums are safe enough to eat, but I'll taste mine first, just in case."

He took the tiniest bite, only a nibble, before adding

"They seem quite alright, Love. And delicious, too."

<table class=ooc><tr><td>Meh.. I'm SO sorry for how late this post is. I've been having RL troubles, so it's taken me a while to get back up to date with all my threads.

At this point, all the pair of lover's are going to do is eat, right? So, how about we start the next thread now? I'll PM you the rest now.</td></tr></table>
