  1. Gyethym was too far gone to listen to her. He offered an apologetic grunt and lunged into a huge field, seeing a large beast sitting their roaring. He growled, dropping down into a defensive crouch.

  2. Pecratos saw the arden move into a prime spot, and he took the oppuortunity to make a grab for the odd pair of Jaina and her saviour.

  3. Gyethym rolled his shoulders, making an attempt to get Jaina off his back. His eyes never left the creature as he began moving restlessly, flexing his claws after he pulled them away from the thill on his back.

  4. Jaina saw that Gyethym was about to try and kill the Dekastos she asked for help, and in doing so falling the fifty or so feet in altitude that her father hed already brought them up. She hated to doo it, but she had to use her biokenises and prod the little off switch every creature has and hope he really DID fall asleep, and not consider her a threat and push her off her unsteady perch on her fathers back.

  5. Gyethym studied the beast before, in a blinding fast, almost back-breaking move, he twisted his body, kicking away the arden who had a death-grip on him as his instincts completely took over.

  6. "Oh shit," Jaina breathed. She started to launch a fulll mental barrage at gyethym to keep him from killing the poor frightend creature. A second later the Dekasto's fight or flight response took a turn for the latter and it tried to sprint from the clearing.

Jaina's father felt the force of the mental assaul and fought to stay concious...

  7. Gyethym ran after the beast, snarling as he tackled it to the ground and pinned it under him. He bent down, his jaws closing around its throat lightly before he picked up the thill's scent on the creature. Friend, his mind whispered, and he pulled away, backing away from the terrified animal.

  8. *Thank you* she whispered to Gyehtym mentally. She signaled for her father to head back down and pick him up, then unleashing another wave of mental fury at their now visable assailents.

  9. Gyethym nodded at the telepathic message, turning and lunging into the trees. *I'll see you around, Jaina. I have a job to finish* He snapped a few of the assailents' necks as he passed, sending them a warning look; touch her and your dead. They backed off, fleeing into the forest as Gyethym continued on, disappearing into the trees.

  10. Jaina slumped down and started to cry when she touched down. Her father maneged to do the right thing for once then someone else screws up her life instead. She miserably shambled back to her cave, shocked to find a guest already snooping around, luckily Jaina was actully glad to see this one...

  11. Gyethym was too busy scratching a note into the wall with his sharp claws to notice the thill enter behind him; he had seen the sadness in her eyes and couldn't bare it, so he'd come here to explain himself without actually talking to her again; he couldn't stand to see her cry.

Jaina, I have to go for now. I'm still on the job and I need this money. I'll come back, don't worry. You'll see me when you least expect it.

He finished the note, picking the sharps of stone off his claws as he turned. He froze, giving Jaina a guilty look.

  12. She summed up the messege in a glance, then she actully smled at Gyethem. "Don't worry, I only thought that I'd never see you again, that's why I was sad," she stepped forward and hugged the obviously suprised Arden. "But going away notes are best left when you know you wont see the person again before you leave." She winked at him playfuly and stepped back out of the cave to let him think.

OOC: I had actully meant for the cave scene to take place with Alexander Glasswing, but this works even better! Just FYI.

  13. ooc: I meant for the disapearing into the woods to be the end of the thread, after your post. :)

ic: Gyethym stood frozen, all guilt gone as embarrassment took over. He hid the blush rather well as she walked out, shaking his head before running out. As he passed, he gave her a quick, fierce kiss and ran off, shifting back to hunting as he went back to his job.
