Orca smiled as she watched Razorback, gathering things for Nal, and then felt a pang of guilt. How long ago was it that this had happened to her? Orca closed her eyes and thought back to the memory for a moment, then blocked it out. She didn't want to remember. For the first time in her life, Orca couldn't think of anything to say.
OOC: ugh, you guys are so much better then me. Nal thought for a moment, maybe something could be gained from here. He had used the last of his money back when he bought the food he had come here with. “This guy doesn’t look like he has much, but there has to be something here of value." Nal would need to take a good look around the cottage to see what was worth taking. “Oh, you have vegetables? I can cook a bit, maybe I could make something before I go."
Razorback looked at Nal suspiciously "Nal do you honestly think that if i let you look around my cottage you wont accualy seal anything? i wasnt born yesterday Besides i have nothing thats worth taking so there but if i do find anything missing i will personaly hunt you down and teach you a lesson got it?" razorback then turned to Ocra and looked her up and down and then said "if you ever need a place to stay for a bit i will be more than glad to give you some accommodation." razorback then checked the roast that was in the oven.
Orca was grinning broadly, having heard the same thought and having been thinking he wouldn't be getting away with taking anything herself; when she found out Razorback knew, too, she couldn't help but grin. But by the time Razorback had looked at her, she was concealing her smile - bearly. How sweet of him! Orca smiled again, but a different kind of smile. Actually, I'm running a bit low on food. If I could stay for dinner, I'll pay you back some day, I promise. She knew her biscuits, though good, were on the verge of going bad, and wouldn't fill her up nearly as good at some real food. ooc| So much better then you how? -is clueless-
OOC: at Rping, there is so much more detail in your posts XP Nal was quite a bit surprised at how quickly Razorback had picked up on his plan, but he tried not to let it show. “What? I don’t know where you would have gotten that idea." Nal then smiled and said “Why would I want to steal from you? All I need is something to eat; and I would be more than happy to cook for you." Nal realized that he had let his plan slip and tried to think happy, misleading thoughts.
& Lanna- Thank you! & Orca- Orca gave Nal a harsh glare when Razorback wasn't looking her way, and spoke to him through her mind. I, personally, can read minds. I don't know about Razorback, but just know that I'll probably catch on if you're planning something. She then looked back to Razorback, intently watching to see what he would do, and not looking at Nal at all, shutting him out of her thoughts. Razorback had been nothing but polite to the both of them, and with more and more bad people lurking around every corner, Orca felt a desire to tell off those who were taking advantage of the nice 'dragons.
"who wants to see the rest of the cottage? its not much but there are 2 levels to this little cottage but i dont mean it goes up it goes underground theres 3 bedrooms and it looks like there was once a girl living in the middle room because of all the little toys and the pink bed kinda give it away dont you think? Anyway im thinking of digging out a few more rooms and turning this place into a B&B and if i do i really could use the extra help so what do you say any of you want to help?? Asked Razorback hoping that Nal and Ocra would say yes then he started to feel something strange in his heart whenever he looked at Ocra but he couldnt quite think of what it was.
Orca, although not at all skilled as a digger, nodded and flashed Razorback a huge smile, then blushed slightly, but it was almost invisible through her maroon fur, and she hoped no one would notice. That sounds great! She was, it seemed, talking about everything Razorback was saying. She finished her coffee, which had been forgotten, and, standing up, started to walk over to the sink. She the proceded to wash it, feeling it was the least she could do.
Nal smiled as he heard Orca's comment in his mind. "You know, its not very polite to listen to what people are thinking." he thought, not knowing if Orca could hear. Nal then turned to Razorback and tried to look as honest as possible. "Shure, I don't see why I can't do that." Nal then tried to close off his mind as best he could. "This will be easy."
Ocra can you please keep an eye on Nal for me? Rzorback had spoken these words into Ocras mind to stop Nal from hearing them "right shall we get to work? its going to be quite a while before we are finished so if you could start to dig out that wall at the end of the undergound corridor i will get the support beams to put up as we dig the tunnel i will be gone for about one hour getting the beams but nce i have them i will start to help you dig is that ok?" Razorback then left the cottage to collect the support beams that was stored in the little shed down the back. OOC: fixed it!
Orca nodded silently to Razorback, and then glared harshly at Nal. Just so you know, you're not very accomplished at blocking your mind. It actually takes practice. You have to - vokc - nevermind. But it's not as easy as you think. And as for me not being polite, you aren't being very polite, either, unless stealing is now acceptable? Orca turned away and walked down to where the tunnel ended. She poked the dirt a few times, and then started digging.
Nal tried hard not to show his frustration. He would keep her out of his mind even if he had to wrap tinfoil around his head. Nal just smiled and tried to look as innocent as possible. “That’s fine." He said to Razorback. “I would love to help you dig."
As Razorback reached the shed door he hesitated as he whent to put his paw on the handle taking a deep breath he opened the door half expecting something ugly to jump out and bite him but nothing did it must have left Razorback thought and he started to gather the support beams he had made himself "right three more to get out and then thats it" as Razorback bent over to pick them up something bit down hard on his tail "FUCK!!! arrrgghhh.... i thought i had gotten rid of all of you bloody Garlocs!!!" Razorback got the support beams and any other things he didnt want to be burnt out of the shed kicked the galoc in the face, shut the shed door and used his tail flame to set the shed on fire shrieks of pian where heard as the shed burnt Razorback thought how did they get in there in the first place? "oh well id better get these support beams back t the cottage and have a look at the damage to my tail" said Razorback muttered to himself as he began to carry the beams back to the cottage his tail was bleeding quite badly.
a n d o u t o f c h a r a c t e r l a n n a I am so sorry you guys! I had a bad case of influenza and my parents wouldn't let me come to the library! a n d i n c h a r a c t e r o r c a Orca smirked at Nal and started digging, then thought she heard a screech of some sort, from far off. She blinked and strained her ears, but she could hear no more. Perhaps she had just been imagining it? Or prehaps Razorback was in trouble? Orca continued her work, ears pricked as she listened intently.
As Razorback carried the beams back to the cottage he was starting to feel drowsy from the large amount of blood he had lost grrr that garloc took a small bite out of my tail he had left the cottage door open so he wouldnt have to put the beams down i have the beams. Can you both give me a hand?he shouted from the stairs an after he had said these words he fainted and fell down the stairs.
Orca cursed magnificently and rushed out to Razorback. She swung of her knapsack and wrapped the wound quickly, streaming curses, then ran to the bathroom to get a cool, wet washcloth, of which she squeezed a couple of drops onto Razorbacks forehead, cradling it in her lap. The beams lie, forgotten, on the ground.
Nal wasn't sure what to do. He diddn't know anything about first aid or medicine. "What should I do?" He asked Orca.
Razorback's eyes opened a tiny bit half expecting to see the beaams to be on top of him but what he saw surprised him it was Ocra putting a wet towel on his head "what happened last thing i remember is calling out for some help with the beams." the he remembered the wound to his tail he held his tail upto his face and looked at the bandage. "ouch"
