Shadow had been packing his wound full of the clay like dirt that tyhe forest was abundant in. Only when he began to cover it in the thick grass did he hear the howl from a well reconised enemy. shit... Was what he whispere3d under his breath, then realisation hit his gidy and weakened mind, Veaji was out there, ill and unprotected. Shadow jumped from thr bushes with a sudden grace bowling over many of the enemy. He scooped up veaji and with a weary sigh took off from the ground confusing the creatures to no end. One did make a last attempt for his flesh as he cleare3d their heads, leaving his ankles bleeding out causing him to land with a thud on his back - after a carefull and twisted manuvore to ensure he didn't crush his dear friend. Hastily he summoned a fire golem to distract them while he roused veaji from her sudden faint-like trance.
At least Veaji was fighting to stay concious. At least for now. She heard Shadow thud down beside her and the growl of many of the dark creatures. True, her vision was bluring and it was of no help to her. But her ears were still their alert selves. Raising her sword again, she made a blind thrust in the air and succeded in stabbing a creature. It gave out an agonised howl and retreated. She could hear it cowardly running away. Giving out a small smile, she grouped the little bits of energy she still have left and created another invisible blast of wave which knocked the whole party down again. Shadow? she called faintly, but yet loud enough for Shadow to hear. I can't see clearly... how many more are left?
only a few... he lied there was at least six left. Veaji was slowly losing it and He was bleeding again. The fire golem was keeping the creatures away for now, it wasn't the strongest of summons though. Veaji i need to pick you up and fly... he started i know you dont like it, but its so we can get out of here, we're nearly in town. Just then a flash of flames burst out as the golem died, in haste shadow cast another spell, ice spikes surrounded them. It would do till he could figure out what to do. Out of Character

ahh short, i'm dead in the head my dear :(

Pick her up and fly? No, no. She detest flying. She wouldn't even want to sprout wings if she could. She tried to shake her head but only managed to close her eyes. She knew now that she was in a serious case. She could feel the heat in now as the temperature in her body rises. Irritation settled in her heart. Why wouldn't Shadow just leave her here to die? Wouldn't it be better? She wouldn't be a burden to him and he wouldn't be someone close to her, only to leave her in the future. She should have repented long ago when she was in her village. She shouldn't have left Pwa. But what a horrible life she was living. She liked the way she was after Pwa. Alone and independant... and always in trouble. She tried to say 'no' again but to only feel herself fall. Shadow, just leave me she telepathed to him before unconciousness begin to engulf her.
Shadows' jaw dropped at Veaji, Leave her?! Now that was absurd! No bloody way, Veaji! He growled at her, scooping her up once more in his arms, He mumbled a small healing spell hoping it would help her last longer, seeing as he was going to walk. And with a flick of his tail the ice melted. He stared down what he saw to be the alpha of the group, none would attack them with out her silent signal. Teeth bared in full vampire form, His eyes locked with the hungry feline as She flicked her ears flat against her head,Shadow watched as its steel gaze, looked away. They had won. shadow turned towards the exit of the place, it only being a few metres away. And seeing the town he smiled, And deftly made way into the town. Behind them, unknown to shadow followed the Alpha of the pack, Alone for some reason.
