  1. "Gregory," called Jahhar to Gregory. "We won't find him here. This is just his profile." Jahhar started chasing Gregory. "If you think he is still alive, we should go to the cliff he fell off of and look for clues." Jahhar was correct in saying that the cloaked dragon wasn't here. However, there was another creature that was in the profile, making sure no one lived to tell what they had seen...

Jahhar looked over his shoulder and spotted a black skeletal-like figure drop from the sky. He recognized it. It looked like the ones he had fought before. They were magical shadow type creatures, supposedly undestroyable. They were made from shadow magic and would attack anyone with a certain curse on them. Obviously, Jahhar and Gregory had cursed themselves by entering this dimension. It opened its mouth filled with hundreds of needle like teeth and let out a high pitched whine. "Um Gregory, we have company and the last time I defeated a group of these guys, I did it by finding a loophole in the curse that was cast on me." Jahhar looked over his shoulder at Gregory, but regretted it, because when he looked back towards the creature, it was right up to him, its cold pitless eyes staring at him. The creature lunged at Jahhar, who narrowly dodged it by leaping over it. It suddenly appeared behind Jahhar and slashed at his back with its long, blackened knifelike claws. Jahhar cringed in pain before backkicking the creature. Jahhar could have kicked a brick wall and never would have known the difference... The creature grabbed Jahhar's foot and threw him. Jahhar slid and almost fell off of the pathway. He was holding onto the edge. The creature walked towards him. Jahhar felt his fingers slipping.

  2. "This entire realm is a disgrace to shadow and nothingness!"

Screamed Gregory as he flew and slammed a shadow charged kick into the chest of the beast. It stumbled back, a large gap in it's chest created by the shadow energy so like it's own, but in seconds it had regenerated. Gregory quickly hoisted Jahhar up with a single hand, and faced down the creature.

"So whats this loophole, because I have a feeling even WITH shadow energy of my own, I won't be able to totally destroy this thing..."

It suddenly charged ahead, and Gregory sent a haymaker to it's jaw. In a flash it had vanished and had mirrored his move from the side, sending a haymaker of it's own into his jaw. Gregory was slammed off the edge, igniting in shadow even as he began his fall to the abyss below...

  3. "I doubt there is one..." murmered Jahhar as he leapt down after Gregory. Jahhar dove so he would gain speed faster than Gregory. He braced himself as he grabbed Gregory's shoulders with both of his hands. He pulled out of the dive and spread his wings. He flew back towards the hole that lead out of the dimension. "If we can escape and reseal the dimension, this thing can't catch us." said Jahhar. As Jahhar was nearly to the top of the edge of the cliff, the shadow creature poked its torso out of the side of the cliff and grabbed Jahhar's legs. Jahhar powered up the augmentations in his arms and threw Gregory onto the cliff. "Get out of here and be ready to close the dimension!" shouted Jahhar. He pulled out the sun katana with his left hand, which quickly heated up. Jahhar could feel the creature crushing the bones in his legs. Jahhar quickly slashed at the creature's arms with the katana. The creature, being made of shadow, was midly affected by the heat and light from the katana, but affected nonetheless. It loosened its grip slightly and Jahhar broke free, flying, this time with adrenaline in his system, towards the exit of the dimension. Hopefully Gregory would get out. The creature appeared in front of Jahhar. Jahhar shouted at the top of his lungs and the katana burned very brightly. Jahhar pointed it ahead of him at the creature and shot through it. He then shot through the portal and into the hideout. Not able to slow down, he hit a wall and fell on his back. He quickly got up and didn't mind the small trickle of silvery red blood running down his forehead. He prepared to close the portal as soon as Gregory got out. His fingers were shaking as he rested them on the keyboard.

  4. Gregory grunted as he landed on the ledge, and then ignited in shadow and began running towards the exit. The creature, it's first target gone, turned to him and let out a howl, before diving at him. Gregory jumped up, planted a boot firmly on it's head, and forced it down onto the path. Unfortunately tactics such as these were not the most effective, and the creature was suddenly on top of him, forcing HIM down into the path.

Gregory suddenly erupted in shadow, the creature decaying and large parts flaking off as the shadow conflicted with it's own. Even so, however, Gregory didn't stop the shadow barrage, and large beams of white black shadow started cutting deep grooves in the surrounding area. Soon the entire realm was beginning to shut down, and fail. Parts of the cliff fell into the abyss, and the creature, as it feebly clawed it's way towards Gregory, was smashed by a large piece of material and slammed down into the depths of the blackness... No doubt it would be back. Slowly the shadow faded, and Gregory, panting, his black fur releasing wisps of energy, began a slow jog towards the entrance. He quickly jumped out and landed beside Jahhar, as a savage howl came from the realm. The creature flipped back onto the beaten, now broken path, and began sprinting for the entrance...

  5. Jahhar pulled the plug on the monitor and it shut down. The portal snapped closed. Jahhar let out a sigh of relief. "Hopfeully we won't be tangling with those anymore..." murmered Jahhar. The pieces to the screen on the monitor flew back into place once the power was no longer connnected to it. Jahhar walked into the lounge area of the hideout. Too bad there was nothing to drink, Jahhar would have loved to refresh himself at this point in time... He sat down in one of the remaining couches before rubbing his eyes. "Gregory... I have a hunch that you are correct about this cloaked dragon still being alive. That cliff near the ruins he fell off of are the Machina Ruins. We should go there next and we might find something or some reason why he didn't die. Jahhar got up off of the couch. "If we do find more of this cloaked dragon, I'm not sure how powerful he is. Its possible that he has grown stronger since the images of his life were made." Jahhar started to leave the hideout. "Before we go, let me inform Kama and Timaro where we are going." Jahhar spoke to Kama, he had caught them just before they entered their friend's academy. Jahhar explained what he had learned about this cloaked dragon.
"Interesting Jahhar. I knew there was something more to that file." He chuckled a bit, "I guess you could say that I was a bit nervous about doing too much with it, I didn't want to start a major chain reaction and have something bad happen." He then regained his serious tone, "Listen up, if that dragon who killed our parents is the one who is after us, we need to be careful. Don't let your guard down, whoever he is, he has already captured Sabata and Sabato. Hopefully they are still alive..."

Kama and Timaro had arrived safely to their friend's academy. It was a small place, in the Vivuli Jungle, but that wasn't what mattered. Their old friend, Tyth, was pleased to see the two Teslos. After they had greeted each other, Tyth asked, "What brings you here."
"Tyth, Timaro and I need to remaster our fighting styles and learn new ones."
Tyth chuckled and started to walk into an area where the three of them could sit down. "Are you discontent with your abilities to engage in battle?"
"Its not that, its just that-"
Tyth cut Kama off, "Prehaps you face an enemy that is too strong for you, prehaps too quick."
    "Exactly."
Tyth nodded. "I understand. Get a good dinner and a good night's rest. Tommorow's training will be... a bit harsh..."
OOC: I'll make the new topic later. Enjoy. Post if you want to but it will be your last for this part.

Gregory trailed behind Jahhar the whole way, his arms crossed and his eyes closed. How he knew where he was going and why he didn't trip was anybodies guess, but one could only tell he was deep in a train of thought.

Disgraceful... They dare use the majesty of shadow to obtain their own ends on a mortal level. How they could come across such power is beyond my guess...

He continued pondering this, following all the way...
