1. The diseased Teslos began to recover, but nothing was immediate.

The assassin growled at Revol, but through his half crushed windpipe, it sounded like a wheeze of some sort. The assassin closed his eyes and he was warped to where Kama was lying and Kama was warped into Revol's hands, being strangled instead of the assassin.
"Why do you kill your own?" mocked the assassin in a menacing voice, "Besides, if you killed me, it would kill Jahhar. I have a symbiotic bond with him." he finished, pointing at Jahhar who was gasping as if someone had just tried to strangle him.
"He's a mesemer," spoke Timaro who had gotten strength enough to stand. "He distorts our attacks so we kill ourselves when we try to kill him."
The assassin didn't say anything to that, he just grinned mischieviously.

From a hill 30 meters away, a small army of dragons watched the fight. A scout ran back to a dragon clothed as if he was a high ranking officer.
"Commander Stephan, the fight appears to be over. It seems the call for reinforcments was too late. Yet, there are 11 dragons fighting against Darius the assassin."
"Darius?" replied Stephan, "don't call him an assassin. He is a coward, he couldn't fist fight for his life." He drew a silver blade, "you wait here with the men. I have a score to settle with Darius."
"Sir, you shouldn't go, we can send other men instead. If you destroyed Darius and then the other 11 dragons attacked yo-"
"Listen, Darius has destroyed enough of my armies. He is mine to kill!" replied Stephan swiftly. The scout didn't argue, but he prepared the army to be ready to fight if things worsened.
When Stephan was no more than 5 meters from Darius, he shouted at him, "Darius, what are you doing out in the open? You know that I was going to kill you when I saw your face." Darius turned to face Stephan with a surprised look on his face. He stepped back from Stephan who kept walking towards Darius. Stephan was no more than 3 feet from Darius when Darius spoke, "If you kill me, you'll kill him," he pointed at Jahhar, "and he could be a very powerful ally, but not if he's d-"
Stephan swung the sword at the gap between Darius and Jahhar and a crackling could be heard as the invisible symboitic bond was broken. Stephan then turned and swung his sword at Darius who jumped back before moving his arms to cast a spell, but nothing happened.
"This sword's presence keep anyone from casting magic, so don't play games with me Darius." spoke Stephan coldly as he walked towards Darius again, in a slow manner as if he had all the time in the world to catch Darius. Darius shouted in surprised before he turned and started running from Stephan. Stephan drew a throwing knife and threw it at Darius. It sunk into Darius' back and Darius fell over, but got up and started to stagger away. Darius didn't go far before Stephan threw a chain at Darius' feet which bonded them together. Darius collapsed onto the ground and turned to watch Stephan continue to approach. Darius whimpered as he tried to crawl away by using his hands.
"You vile creature," growled Stephan as he walked over to where Darius was uselessly crawling around in the sand. Blood trickled from Darius' back as he kept trying to crawl. Stephan jumped in front of him and looked down apon him.
"You will die the way you lived your life, like a lowly coward, like an animal."
"STEPHAN, NO, PLEASE, DON'T KILL M-"

Those were the last words Darius heard before Stephan walked away from the corpse, wipping the blood off of his sword and putting it away. Stephan's army had followed him to the fight area, so Stephan walked over to them, taking no notice of "The Lost" or the Teslos. Maybe his thoughts were consumed over his victory of killing Darius....

2. Revol moved as soon as Darius had fallen, ripping his broadsword from the thong attaching it to his waist and pressing it lightly into Stephan's back.

"Who are you, are you with Shaelus?"

He still wasn't sure who the hell this person was, but if he had killed Darius...

"Commander, I'm sure they aren't our enemies, he saved Jahhar, if he hadn't intervened, his "magic" would have been the end of us..."

Revol shot him a glare and Sanders fell silent, his combat walker taking a few steps backwards in surprise. None of the team could remember when Revol had assumed the full role of Commander, the last time being the battle against the rapine on Earth, but they knew better than to cross him while he was in this mindset, for he had killed his own soldiers before when they failed to follow orders...

"High Priest Jepaj, use your chaos magic to destroy the body, Hunt, absorb this 'Darius' soul. Sanders, I want a full scan of every newcomer within the past half hour, we're still in the dark here, I the only true enemy I know about in this universe, is Shaelus himself."

He paused, as if collecting his thoughts, and then pressed his broadsword deeper into Stephan's back, growling low, making sure to be as threatening as possible.

"Now, as for you, I can see you're a Commander like myself, but I havent been able to figure out if you're with Shaelus or not. If you are, it would be an easy job to finish you right now. Or I could take you as a host and search through your mind... It's your choice, Truth Or Death..."

The rest of his team, having done their assigned jobs, formed up behind him, smart military salutes and weapons holstered... Hopefully the Teslos wouldn't do anything stupid...

3. The army all pointed their guns at Revol. Stephan raised his hand and motioned them to point their guns elswhere.
"If Shaleus is your enemy, I am the last dragon you want to kill." spoke Stephan. "I see you are rebels against Shaleus' rule, just like the Red Core army. I've been leading this army for 10 years, but the war has been going on for 31 years." Stephan walked out from under the sword and it sliced his back, but he didn't seem to mind. He turned to face Revol. "My tactics and strategies have been the victory of the Red Core army against many of Shaleus' armies. For about 9 years after I took command, we started winning and defeating Shaleus... pushing him back. Now... things have become hopeless. Shaleus has released a combot more powerful than anything anyone has seen before. No one knows how to destroy it." Stephan pointed at the lake of metal. "That lake of metal you see is not natural. It is the result of the destruction of our base by Shaleus' combot. It alone can destroy an entire dimension. Its just a matter of time for it to get to all of the bases. My armies don't have the resources it takes to create one of these machines. Even if we did, it would take at least 30 years to contruct. Shaleus had been working on this combot since the beginning of our war with him. This machine.... its armor is nearly impposible to scratch and any damage it does receive is repaired quickly....."

Stephan went on to explain more about the Red Core army and the master combot. The Teslos listened intently, but also with dread.

When Stephan finished explaining, he spoke on a different topic.
"We have a chance to defeat Shaleus. We recently developed a clone virus. Its a virus that spreads through DNA types and was made specificially for destroying clones. We want to spread this virus to Shaleus' main factories. Then, when Shaleus ships his new supply of weapons to all of his clones, they will be struck dead in a matter of minutes. Shaleus himself though... He is much more powerful than any of his clones. The virus wouldn't harm him at all. You most likely destroyed one of his clones on your own dimension, but that was nothing compared to what he really is..."

"We can worry about the real Shaleus later." spoke Jahhar, "for now, lets go infect the weapon factories."

Stephan smiled, "That is exactly where we were going to go as soon as we reinforced this base. Not much to reinforce now though..."

Kama spoke up, "Is there anything else aside from what you have mentioned that we should watch for?"

Stephan gave a concerned look. "The beast.... Its Shaleus' latest bodyguard. A creature like noneother. Its tail has a terrible blade that cuts opposers in half. Only one dragon has gotten into Shaleus' bios' to read about this creature briefly. The creature is called... X..."

4. Out of Character

Wow, thats shocking, now where did you find out about X? Har Har, oh boy, well the mission just got a hell of alot harder with him in there... Camouflage Gene, Infestation Properties, Three Acid Glands... I hope the Teslos know what their doin... :D

Revol placed his broadsword back on the thong at his side, and then turned to Stephan. Casually igniting his flamethrowers and checking his suits systems, he finally issued some orders, a bit more confident now that he had some allies, and maybe even troops to command...

"I'm glad theres still someone alive in this dimension who opposes Shaelus. Is this world, this version of Ramath-Lehi, his home base? It will make things alot easier if we can quickly wipe him out here and now."

Still waiting for the answer, he turned to his team, after doing a quick mind sweep of Stephan, and learning that he spoke the truth, and harboured some dark secrets...

"Sanders, I want you to take a sample of that virus, see if you can upgrade it, make it more potent, give any new prototype you can make to Stephan, and try and mass produce it, I'm betting Shaelus relies heavily on combots and clone soldiers. You know the new warp technology we were testing a little ways back?"

Sanders tapped a few keys inside his walker, and then nodded.

"Yes Sir, I assume we're about to take it on a test run?"

Revol smiled,

"Of course, rig something up, send a message for some Drones, I don't want to risk any men here. Try to get our best tech, get a Sidewinder, some Hulks, maybe a few MK-70s... And Send the Prototype Tyrant Drone."

Sanders looked shocked.

"We're... Going to risk the Tyrant?..."

There wasn't even an argument.

"No, we're going to field test it, and I want to see how well it fares against Shaelus' tech."

Sanders immediately sent the message and within minutes had a large area cleared and prepped for a trans dimensional warp. Four large pillars surrounded the area, all eerily pulsing with blue energy.

"Sir, we're ready for the warp, I hope this works, otherwise hell itselfs going to drop down on us."

Revol nodded, and gave the go ahead, before turning to the rest of his team.

"Gregory, Hunt, you get to work on repairing the base, Jepaj, Clear any debris that blocks sightlines or doesn't provide cover for friendly troops. Sanders, try and hurry that warp up, Shaelus could attack at any minute."

Gregory and Hunt tuned into the rhythm of the universe and began reforming the molecules of the base, cleaning up the molten pool and slowly shaping it into a large castlelike structure. Four walls, one main structure in the inside of the building, and several simple guns turrets and cover points at specific places. A large trench also spanned the outside walls, set right into the metal itself. By the time they were finished, it was a perfect base, made entirely out of metal itself. the shining exterior would hinder enemy vision, and allow the defenders to snipe away at any incoming enemies before they got within firing range. The only main problem was an aerial assault, and that could simply be averted using one of the large spike chain guns Gregory and Hunt had created on the four corners of the wall, that fired solid steel spikes at supersonic speeds. Hunt always was a genius with weapons. When all was said and done, all that remained was the warp, and so far it was going along smoothly. In a large blue glow, the Sidewinder had already warped in, and had slithered off to the side, and the Hulks were almost complete. When they had finished, and the MK-70s had warped in, the final Drone warped in, a massive structure, bristling with every weapons system imaginable, and almost on par with Shaelus new combot. The Prototype XZ-75 Tyrant... It finished successfully warping in, and then immediately cloaked, as several nuclear reactors, all carefully shielded to avoid detection, began powering the extremely long lasting cloaking device, along with the weapons systems.

"We're ready, Teslos, Stephan, lets go plant that virus..."

5. OOC: I was considering starting part IV, but I'm going to just keep it as part III instead.
BIC:
Stephan nodded. "I'll leave my army here to assist in holding the base. It won't be long before its attacked once Shaleus sees it. Let's go."
The Teslos nodded and showed their readiness. Stephan lead the way. It was him, the Teslos, and all of "The Lost" who planned to follow.

Back at Shaleus' HQ, men were typing in computer teminals. One of them got a call. He connected and listened for a while before nodding his head.
"Guys, Shaleus has ordered another attack on sector 905. The base has rebirthed itself through a group known as "The Lost". Just as well, he has found commander Stephan, a group of siblings known as the Teslos, and some of "The Lost" to coming towards our main weapons factory. Their intent is unknown, but we must be ready for anything." spoke the dragon who received the call. He went on to instruct the other dragons to get two armies set up and moving. One for the rebirthed base and the other for the virus implanting group...

At the rebirthed base, Stephan's right hand man assumed control. He still thought it was risky for Stephan to wander off with some strangers before their trust had been earned. But... they were at war and they didn't have much time left before Shaleus finished off the rest of the Red Core army; especially with his new combot...
Sirus was the name of Stephan's right hand man. He ordered troops to secure the base. He knew it wouldn't be long before another army arrived to demolish this base again.

Before the Red Core army had all set up its equippment, Sirus spotted Shaleus' army moving over a barren hill 30 meters away. Shaleus clearly wanted this base destroyed, as he had sent two clones as well as a legion of 100 troops. Sirus knew that the clones Shaleus sent into battle were usually not protected by crystals of immortality, but they were still as hard as could be to take down... Sirus also noted that the master combot hadn't come with the army. It was probably waiting to be teleported into the battle in the middle of it.

Sirus' army consisted of 150 men. His army outnumbered Shaleus' army which was unusual and rare. Something didn't seem right. Shaleus was planning something, he could have easily afforded to send more than 100 men to demolish a base...
"OPEN FIRE ON LEFT CLONE." Shouted Sirus.
laser blasts rained down apon that single target. The clone, however, was simply blocking the shots with metallic plates on the palms of his hands. Some of the shots came back and smoked a few of Sirus' men.
"GET SOME ARTILLERLY FIRE ON HIM." ordered Sirus. The army was no more than 15 meters away and kept approaching. None of the enemy's army fired a shot. A rocket was launched towards the clone, but exploded in midair by some magic of the clone. This quick distraction, however, was enough to let a laser sneak through and get to the clone. The shot went right through the clone and it was then that Sirus realized what was going on.
"USE EMP GRENADES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FORT!" shouted Sirus. His men quickly hurled grenades over the other side and the emp blasts shorted the cloaking devices of the real army on the other side of the base. The real army was already drilling through the main doors to the base and had just broken through the doors when the grenades landed. The other army had been a hologram projection to distract the troops on the base while the real army had been cloaked and using silenced drills to carve their way into the base. The real army consisted of 500 men and 3 clones who all came pouring into the base as soon as the metallic door was drilled through.
"Let him play with fire...." murmered Sirus as he gave hand signs to silently motion the troops as they all cloaked themselves and moved up against the walls of the base. They drew their steel swords which would be more useful than guns for a close range battle inside of the base.
The 3 clones motioned the army to surround the base. They were confident that they could take care of the inside of the base without any troops.
The army outside of the base had to now deal with the army of robots "The Lost" had conjured now that they were uncloaked. The army was pinned up against the base and were firing from the trenches at the robots. They obviously had no clue about "The Lost's" cloaked drone. It would be deadly to them...
Inside of the base, the clones walked quietly through the halls. Men attempted to jump out at them but were struck dead...

Stephan arrived at the main HQ. He and the Teslos were cloaked. "The Lost" who had come along were also presumable cloaked as well. Stephan walked up to the side of the main weapons factory. It contained all of the materials that were used to make the weapons. If this base was infected, it would spread to all of the other weapon factories. Stephan pulled out a small tool and carved a circle on the side of the base. The middle of the circle vanished, making a way into the base. through the hole could be seen the inside of the base. Stephan wondered where the resistance force was as he walked into the hole. It was like walking into a spider's web, as a bladed tail swung down and took off Stephan's head....

6. Revol moved instantly, although saddened by Stephans sudden demise, he quickly reached out a powered gauntlet and latched onto the tail, yanking it down and slamming it into the wall nearby. The creature hissed viciously, and leapt forwards, it's segmented tail coming off with gushes of fluid in Revol's grasp.

"Everyone, plant the virus!, Jahhar, I'll need the help of your augmentations, MOVE IT!"

He had just finished when a pair of claws raked against the front of his armor, scoring deep grooves in the already battered worn material. The next thing Revol knew, the front of his armor was also covered in a clear liquid, that was burning away the very armor itself. Sending a quick kick to X' monstorous hanging needle fang filled jaw, he backed off, igniting his flamethrowers and scouring the beast with two jets of superheated blue flame. At once it vanished in a swirl of air, and clattering could be heard along the walls and in the rafter as the charred carapace escaped out of the flames reach. Revol caught a glimpse of the monster as it leaped up into safety, noting it had already regrown it's tail...

"Jahhar, you still with me?..."

Sander took control of his squad, hoping to hell that the Teslos would listen to him if need be. Quickly darting off, his walker sending off sparks occasionally as it scraped against the sides of the narrow containers, he soon was halted with a problem. His walker crouched behind a large container, as Sanders thought up a plan on how to destroy the mechanized plasma autogun and the repair leech blocking the way through a pair of large cargo doors.

"Gregory, you think it has a detector built in?"

Gregory looked it over.

"Yeah, Shaelus wouldn't be stupid enough to let cloaked units through, of course he knows the level of our cloaking tech..."

Sanders paused a moment more, before turning to the Teslos.

"Cloaking is out of the question, do any of you have any ideas? Don't forget, whatever damage the autogun takes, we take as well, before that repair leech is destroyed..."

Back at the base, the Hulks were fighting fairly well, being full on offensive types, and bearing no cloaking devices in favor of more weaponry. The Hulks had assembled near the main building within the walls, firing every weapon they had at any enemies to come through the gates and not be cut down by Sirus' men. The Sidewinder had taken to burrowing among the troops outside, staying deep enough to avoid any penetrating fire and lashing up it's rotating "Lock Jaws" whenever the coast was clear enough. The Tyrant however, was being the most useful of all. Staying at it's maximum range, almost a mile and a half, the heavily cloaked and guarded Drone unleashed salvo after salvo of missiles, rockets, small nuclear armaments, and energy weapons of all types at the invading army, annihilating it from the side, well away from the base. No one would be able to see what damage it caused as all it's fired ammunition was carefuly cloaked or fired to look as if it had come from the base... So far it looked as if the defenders would be able to prevail...

7. Sabata glanced around.
"I'll distract the machine. The rest of you, run past it." Spoke Sabata in a hushed voice. He ran in front of the gun turret and flipped up onto a bar. He used the bar to flip himself up near the roof of the building. The plasma turret was aiming here and there to try to get a lock on Sabata, but that would be tricky since Sabata was an acrobat...

Kama, Timaro, and Sabato each grabbed a vial filled with the virus from Stephan's corpse before they ran past the turret and repair leach. The three of them came to an intersection.
"Split up." spoke Kama, as he ran to the left and Timaro followed. Sabato would rather have not gone alone, but he had no choice as he ran to the right.

Jahhar watched the creature in awe, yet horror. He qcuikly moved at Revol's instructions and began to power up his augmentations. Auraron meditated and got a feel for the winds of this new area. He was obviously unafraid of the beast. Jahhar's augmentations were powered up 50% of the way when X lunged at him and tried to tackle Jahhar. Jahhar rolled on his back and used his legs to kick X over him. X left behind a present for Jahhar though.... Jahhar quickly pulled off his shirt which was covered in acid and threw it to th ground. Within seconds, the simple garments had deteriorated into nothing. Jahhar looked over towards X. X ran over to the side of the building and scurried up it. Jahhar extended his claws and followed X. Jahhar watched X get over the side of the building. Jahhar soon reached the top and peared around on the rooftop. X wasn't in sight... Jahhar suddenly heard a whipping sound to his left and he focused his attention that way. He saw nothing, but when he looked foward again, he peered into the face of X who pushed him off the side of the building. Jahhar fell 15 feet down the building and landed on the ground in much pain and agony. X lunged down right beside Jahhar but decided not to waste any time infecting Jahhar until the others were taken care of. X turned his attention to Revol and lunged at him. He grabbed the lower portion of Revol's torso with his feet and the upper portion of Revol's torso with his hands. X's tail was poised over his head like a snake waiting to strike...

Sabato was fortunate as he found his way into the supply room where the materials were being stored. He threw the vial onto a stack of boxes and watched the liquid flow over the boxes. The clones would be destroyed soon enough...

Timaro and Kama made their way down into a dark basement. The place had many corpses with holes in their lower backs. There was a stench as well... Kama lead the way to the back of the basement. There was a dragon groaning and chained to the wall. The dragon spotted Kama and Timaro.
"Hey, guys, HELP ME... PLEASE!" shouted the dragon.
Kama approached him cautiously.
"What happened?" questioned Timaro.
"It was th-that thing. Yea, X, that monster. Shaleus found him and hired him not to long ago. All he wanted were live dragons. Nobody knew why. But I know. Heheheh...." the dragon had clearly gone mad. Kama quickly pulled out a small recorded and started recording.
"What has Shaleus done?" asked Timaro.
"He has betrayed us all. That's right, he doesn't care about us anymore. That is why he is slowly giving us to the creature... X... You know what the creature does?" asked the dragon with a crazy grin on his face, "He impl-" The dragon started screaming in pain. Kama and Timaro stepped back and watched in horror as a small creature slowly, but surely came out from the dragon's lower back. Timaro quickly set it on fire before she had gotten a good look at it. She gave Kama a grave look.
"What are we going to do?"
Kama had regained his composure somewhat. "Start a coup..." he pulled out the memory disc that contained the video clip of what he had just recorded...

Back at the mettalic base, most of the enemies troops had been killed. Only 200 remained. 100 of Sirus' troops were left and not one of the clones had been scratched yet. Sirus stopped breathing as a clone walked by him. He took a chance and moved as quickly as he could to stab the clone in its heart. He coincidentally attacked at the same time as another dragon. Their combined attack was enough and Sirus' blade pierced the clone's chest. The clone staggered and held his chest before glaring at Sirus and falling over dead. Sirus grinned and was pleased with himself, but that was the last thing he ever did as another clone snuck up behind him and took his head off...

Shaleus' master combot appeared on the scene by this time and the AI used magnets to locate "The Lost's" robot camping out a few miles from the base. The master combot walked up behind the other robot and spoke briefly.
"Surrender, this fight is over..."

8. Revol staggered backwards.

"Jahhar, you alright!?"

He didn't realise how badly Jahhar might be hurt, and busied himself with grabbing X by his hanging jaw, the needle fangs tearing the flesh they were connected to and scraping against the armored fingers of his powered gauntlets as Revol ripped the beast over his head, remembering to seal his visor in case any acid came his way. Immortal enough he might be, but if his host was blinded, unless he felt like creating his own spectral body or taking another host, he would stay blind. He finished the throw with a grunt, and X slammed against the hard concrete floor, several long, narrow, razor sharp fangs clattering down to the ground around him. Revol took the chance, and bolted over to Jahhar, leaning over him and checking him over, even as X gathered himself off the floor, hissing malevolently as a few new needle fang stubs began growing back...

The Tyrant didn't waste time. As soon as the ultimatum was issued, it turned, decloaking to save energy, and activating all medium and short range weapons.

By Order Of "The Lost" You Are Hereby Ordered To Surrender Or Withdraw All Remaining Troops. Failure To Comply With These Demands Will Result In Immediate Termination. You Have 20 Seconds To Comply.

The massive supercomputer controlling the Tyrant issued these demands as programmed, but in reality was prepping it's weapons and mobility systems, as it's programming dictated that almost 75% of ultimatums were disregarded and combat insued...

The Hulks finally changed tactics. Activating a slew of close combat and widespread damage weapons, such as energy blades, flamethrowers, shockwave generators, and electric guns. They advanced, quickly cutting off the entryway and allowing the deceased Sirus' troops to retake the walls and fire down upon their enemies. A pair of Hulks fell however, their heavily bolstered armor finally buckling under wave after wave of attacks, but in the end it turned out for the good, as they blocked off the entrance, and forced the attackers to spread out and use one of the other 3 exits... But the battle was far from won... And as for the last clone... The Sidewinder was currently going to handle that problem by unburrowing beneath it and having it's "Lock Jaws" tear the copy to bits...

Sanders nodded, and quickly moved to crush the autogun, his walker's seldom used small mechanical arms underneath the cockpit tearing both the repair leech and the autogun itself entirely from the wall. Sanders made sure to crush them both beneath a pair of heavy mechanized legs, and then him and the rest of the team followed through the door. They took the path following Timaro, but stopped dead in the entrance when they saw the bodies.

"That... Creature... It's multiplying?... I'm reading trace amounts of... Unknown biomatter... In all these corpses... And all of the biomatter... leads to that grate..."

He motioned inside his cockpit to a grate on the far wall. The metal bars were melted and twisted, and echoing growls could be heard, along with the clanging of... Something... Against the metal of the ventilation ducts."

"Those things, they're converging through the air ducts on Jahhar and the Commander's position! Even now several have somehow vanished from my scanners after exiting the vents!"

Up above, the group of tiny X' newborns began filtering out of the various air duct grates and vanishing as they tried out their camouflage genes for the first time, effectively evading everything but the trained naked eye. X had called them to itself... His newborn swarm...

9. The pilot of the combot laughed to himself. Surrender would be the last thing he did.
"I don't think you realize what you are battling." spoke the pilot through the combot. He aimed his main gun at the base and fired at fourth power.

When the dust had cleared, a few straggling troops had remained and the hulks and other robots left were damaged. The base was partially destroyed, but some of it still remained. The clone had managed to put up barriers and stay alive as well. "Taking you out is like destroying a small pest." spoke the pilot as he moved the combot and used its clawed hand to cleanly cut off the left shoulder of the Tyrant.

Sabata jumped down after the repair leech and gun turret had been taken out. He ran over to where Jahhar was lying and knelt down beside Jahhar. He needed no explanation had he saw that Jahhar's rib cage had been damaged from a fall. Sabata looked towards where X and his spawn were gathering. He couldn't fight the thing, but he could try to protect Jahhar. Sabata looked up at Revol.
"You take care of that thing. I'll keep Jahhar safe."
Sabata grabbed Jahhar by his arms and started pulling him into the base where he would be safe.

X didn't care. He would take care of both Sabata and Jahhar after he had finished off Revol. However, he didn't mind his children helped themselves to a quick snack... The small creatures swarmed to where Sabata and Jahhar where. X refocused his attention to Revol. He whipped his tail and layed a deep gash on Revol's chest before spewing acid into the wound. Assuming that the attack would distract Revol, X quickly camoflauged himself and ran up the side of th building again and surveyed the battle from the roof of the building. It had been a while since X had found such durable "toys"...

Kama and Timaro started running out of the basement. They both knew that they needed to act quickly to start the coup. The control building wasn't too far away from where the factory was. The two Teslos ran by some guards.
"Hey, you need a pass to be here. HEY, GET BACK!" shouted the guards at them.
Kama and Timaro kept running. They ran to the main entrance but security had already blocked it off.
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" shouted some security guards.
Kama and Timaro where in a long hallway. Guards were behind them and in front of them. They both flew up to the top of the building and smashed through a window. They were both cut up, but could still fly as they flew to the communications building. They flew into the main building and smashed through another window. This time, though, Kama had grabbed his katana and cut through the glash to break it so the two of them didn't have to hurt themselves again.

Kama quickly ushered the fearful dragons running the room into a corner while Timaro took the disc and pushed it into a drive in one of th computers. She transmitted the video to play everywhere in every dimension that had Shaleus' troops...

10. Revol grunted, as his chest armor finally buckled under the force of the acid and his chest took a deep gash, triggering even his dead nerve cells and sending spasms of pain through Revol's dead host and his spirit itself.

"You bastard..."

Revol muttered, and then in a spray of molecules detatched from his armor, leaving the battered, bulky piece of hardware behind. After reforming his body, carefully healing over the wound, he moved the molecules of his eyeballs out of the way, and stared directly at X, watching his bright blood red silhouette against the light blue and white background with his soul vision, spectral eyesight that let him see the world in varying hues of blue and white that focused mainly on the spirits within it, letting him see things that most eyes couldn't. Watching the red form with it's dangling red tail and monstorous blood red fang filled jaw, he pondered his next plan of action, and quickly created a pair of fireballs in his hands, swirling orbs of orange-red.

"Jahhar's no use to me in this condition, I forgot he was only mortal for a second there, get him out of here, try to find me a fresh dead soldier without many wounds, because I'm sure I won't get out of this fight with a body... And my spirit starts decaying if I leave it out in the open air for too long. You got me Sabata?"

He relayed the commands quickly, and then whipped the two balls of fire at X' newborn swarm, incinerating several of the soft shelled creatures as the intense flame burned them to a crisp.

"You gonna follow my orders or what?"

The Tyrant Recoiled, and activated it's stolen technology, along with it's normal repair systems. Energy diverted from the cloaking systems drew up minerals from the rock, and soon the sheared off arm had been reattached, although the connection materials made the area slightly weaker than the original armor.

Failure To Comply With The Demands And Your Attack Labels You As An Enemy. Target Shall Be Eliminated.

The Tyrant moved forward, and suprising for it's size, moved in a combonation of fluid motions, hacking large pieces of armor and weaponry from the master combot as if it was paper.

Pilot Of The Master Combot, As Per Orders Of Commander Revol, And Under My Own Discretion As Pilot Of This Machine, I Have Deemed You Unworthy Of Living, And You Will Be Destroyed Along With Your Machine.

The voice over the coms link was cruel and hard, the voice of a perfect mindless monotone soldier. Before the pre-recorded message by the Tyrant's A.I. had finished it's final warning, the one inside the machine had decided to kill the combot, no matter the cost.

The base was in bad shape. The Sidewinder had been fairly safe as the clone's barrier had meerly deflected it back underground. Several more of the Hulks had been crippled or destroyed as well, leaving 7 functional and 9 unoperable. Unless the Tyrant's pilot succeeded in destroying the Master combot and joining the battle at the base once more, things would wind up badly...

Sanders sent out orders almost as fast as Revol did, not pausing to explain anything.

"Hunt, you and I will head upstairs to help out the Commander, Gregory, you trail those two Teslos, they'll probably get themselves into some trouble, whatever they're doing... Follow silently, only appear if you have to, cloak as much as possible. If you desperately have to in order to help us succeed in this mission, I give permission for you to kill them, I know Revol would give the same order. They are our allies however, I hope it doesn't come to that. Come on Hunt, we have to hurry, the Commander might already be overwhelmed, and there aren't many hosts nearby..."

Gregory bolted after Kama and Timaro, cloaking, planning to silently trial them as ordered, and Hunt and Sanders headed upstairs, immediately pouring round after round into the hordes of X' newborns that appeared in their path, dropping out of ventilation system exits, peering around corners, and leaping from the shadows. By the time they reached Revol, they were both panting, their hosts pushed to the limit, but still functioning. There would need to be some serious molecular therapy after this, but at least the odds for Revol's, Jahhar's, and Sabata's survival had increased...

11. Sabata kept moving Jahhar's body until he moved it behind some barrels in the factory. He then quickly started running towards some noise which sounded like the shouts of dragons. He started sneaking slightly as he neared the security guards scrambling to get to Kama and Timaro. He grabbed one in the back of the security group and silently strangled him. He drug the body over to the hole in the factory. Revol presumably saw the corpse. Sabata ran back over to Jahhar grabbing and throwing a few spawn that had tried to attack Jahhar's body.

A blue beam was fired from the master combot's torso at the Tyrant. Metal vanished from the tyrant and the master combot began to look normal again as if it had never been attacked.
"Fool..." muttered the pilot inside of the combot. Just thne, he got a message relay from the main HQ. He set the AI in control of the combot and watched the video. It showed the same graphic image that Kama and Timaro had seen. The pilot cringed in horror and heard those words about Shaleus betraying his own army. The pilot shouted in horror.

At the same time, in barracks in many different dimensions, thousand of soldiers stood to their feet and began yelling in anger at Shaleus for betraying them after watching the video on hologram projectors. They all began equipping their weapons and moving into portals to go to the dimension where Shaleus was. They wanted him dead...

The rest of the army attacking the mettalic base was dead. The pilot in the master combot began walking back to where Shaleus was. He was going to kill that necromancer. It all made sense now...

Shaleus watched, somewhat in horror as his army began opposing him. He quickly sent mental messages to all of his clones to come to his main HQ asap. within seconds, an army of 1000 clones had appeared in the main HQ, they killed anyone who wasn't a clone of Shaleus and secured the HQ.

X also recieved the link. He called to his spawn which quickly jumped onto him and those who couldn't get onto him followed him as he raced to where Shaleus was. X walked past the army of clones who accepted him as an ally.

Kama watched from the com tower as clones gathered around a large building and massacred any troops which came near it. He watched X walk thruogh the army and enter the HQ.

X entered Shaleus' office. Shaleus remained calm as he spoke.
"My army has rebelled, but its no matter. My clones and your children can take over all of the dimension in the entire multiverse. We aren't holding back anymore. Send forth your children as I send forth my clones."
X seemed to agree with this notion. Shaleus finished.
"Please, leave me in peace. You may guard my door if you wish. I have calculations to make of where I should disperse my clone army..."
X left the office and waited outside. A few of his spawn ran around the office playfully wrestling about. Even though everything was under control, Shaleus was still extremely annoyed with whoever showed that video. He was annoyed that he had lost his army.
"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" he shouted at one of X's spawn, killing it dead in its tracks. The creature squealed as it turned black and died.

X heard the noise and roared. He slammed open the door to Shaleus' office.
"X, guard the door, I already told you, I ha-" Shaleus stood up as X walked over to his desk and tore open a heavily locked door.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" shouted Shaleus, enraged.
X didn't stall as he whipped Shaleus' crystal of immortality with his tail and it shattered.
"WHA-" Shaleus suddenly stopped speaking and cowered in fear as X rose to his full height and stared down apon the evil dragon.

X walked away from the pool of blood, snarling as he called his children to himself.

The clones fighting inside and outside of the HQ sensed their master's death. They all walked up to Shaleus' office and saw X and the cut up corpse of Shaleus. They all raised their hands and summoned dark magic. X roared in fury before firing acid at them all, melting 100's before they got a chance to attack. He whipped his tail towards another row of clones, cutting them cleanly in half. The clones stood no chance... X was on fire in his fury...

Kama watched the clones pouring into the HQ. "What could be going on?" he spoke aloud...

12. Revol was both confused and relieved. X and the mass of red that was his swarm of children had retreated, but at what cost? And what the hell was happening at the base? And at Shaelus HQ?!

"Someone give me a fucking status report, NOW!"

He shrieked the question over both his coms link and his mental link, causing his team to cringe as the mental surge startled them. Gregory almost decloaked where he was by accident but soon regained his composure and informed him of the Teslos' actions.

"Good job Gregory, keep trailing them, stay hidden. Sanders, where the hell is our army?"

Sanders brought up a screen on his Walker's computer, and then quickly hacked into Shaelus satellites and got a birds eye image on the situation.

"Our Tyrant's been damaged, Jikos Is currently discreetly repairing his mech using materials from the inner working of the Master Combot, he's weakening it just in case the pilot of the thing decides to turn against us after backstabbing Shaelus. I'm giving him the command to stay on standby. I've also sent for more troops, again, just in case. Several entire legions of Hydra Drones are currently warping in on the opposite side of the planet, along with our Specialist Team, the same one who recently fought at th desert base, who is going to command the Black Gauntlets, the army we used at the Bhim incident. The General has been complaining of a need for action for some time now. Everything should finish transport and rendevouz with our army, helping out our army. Everythings fine Commander, Jikos will assume command from here on out, alright? Take a break, we have to do some reconstruction work once you transfer into the body Sabata brought. You'll have to enter stasis for now, we can't pull off anything risky here, its unknown terrain."

Revol seemed to realise Sander's words were logical, and nodded, transfering in a spray of spectral energy and scattered molecules. The former body reverted to the body of an elderly man, with a large burnt flesh wound and slash on his chest. Revol seemed to tune out after his body had resumed his normal appearance, and Sanders began work reshaping and healing over the molecules, checking everything over. If they lost Revol now, it would be devastating. Hunt took Revol's armor off to the side, and began repairing it, taking elements from the surrounding factory to fix and bolster the powered armor's defenses and durability. Luckily the correct materials were simply lying around in large containers, high grade metals made for armor and weapons...

Jikos Telaka. The "Dark Rift Apprentice". He used to be a human, that was before he died. "The Lost" found him wandering aimlessly through fromina, apparently lost, and soon recovered the entirety of his soul, giving him simple powers of molecular manipulation and the ability to conjure rifts, strangely enough, always colored pure black. He created simple bodies for himself out of surrounding matter, and soon proved himself to be quite skilled as a pilot, in every type of machine he was introduced to. Now he commanded the Tyrant, being a favorite of Revol, although his history was pointless as he died there and then.

You Bastard! You think you can try and trash my machine and get away?!

It happened instantly. The Tyrant, in one fluid motion, leaped after the combot, and two powerful arms locked around the other mech, beginning to crush it's armor, and internal components. Jikos strained, hauling his controls back until the motion controls snapped off in his golem's hands and the combot's armor buckled.

See if you like this bitch!

Jikos screeched at the other pilot, and smashed open the glass to his right. Slamming his rock fist down onto the red button underneath, the Tyrant began glowing with a bright white and black light, before it imploded and exploded at the same time, it's nuclear and spiritual reactor cores going critical at the exact same moment. The combot was wiped out, the explosion ripping it to tiny pieces, and the implosion drawing the same pieces back in, into a chain reaction combustion that sent every piece to hell and back, until nothing much was left save shattered atoms... Jikos and the combot's pilot were both gone as well, the reaction sending one of the last human souls into oblivion...

The Hulks, managed to silently retreat, the fallen ones self destrucitng to avoid discovery and technology retrieval. They soon reached the rendevouz point where hordes upon hores of Hydra drones, 4 legged spiderlike walkers with gun platforms atop them, swarmed the wasteland, totally blocking the ground from view from the air...

X moved like greased lightening, proving too much for the clones to handle. His children began swarming them as well, legs and waists soon ebing devoured by the multiples of hanging jaws... Acid spewed and claws and tail blades raked, as where three clawed feet were used like raptor's claws, all three slightly curved transparent claws hooking through flesh easily...

13. Amidst the chaos, Auraron had all this time, been meditating. For a good reason too...
Auraron's eyes suddenly snapped open and he slowly stood up from his sitting position. He slowly turned to look towards the main HQ where X battled the hordes of clones.

Sabato had found Sabata and Jahhar at this point and watched Auraron with interest. Kama and Timaro had also grown quiet, as they sensed something coming... Even X and the clone army seemed to slow their fighting, as they too sensed a major energy spike. Clouds formed in the skies as far as the eye could see...

Auraron raised his hands above his head and suddenly brought them down. Balls of hail the size of washing machines came hurling down apon the HQ. Windows were shattered, ice spilled everywhere inside and on the HQ. Auraron's eyes slowly faded into a grey as this occured. The hail over th HQ worsened to th extent that the building began to start creaking and groaning under the stress of the hail.

It wasn't long before it began to collapse. The building crumbled and became no more than a pile of rubble. Then, the hail stopped.

Dead bodies of the clones could be seen in the rubble. Only one life form had survived... X...

The creature rose to its feet before snarling at Auraron, who was 100 feet away.
"Leave..." whispered Auraron. Surprisingly enough, the winds carried his voice and even X could hear it. X clearly had no intentions of leaving alone the one who destroyed his entire swarm. It began to wakl towards Auraron.
"LEAVE!" shouted Auraron. His voice echoed and lightning struck down apon the creature many times. When the electricity storm had subsided, X was laying on the ground, a smoking, smoldering piece of flesh. Still alive, amazingly...

X got up and started running towards Auraron, refreshing its body as it did so.
"OUT OF MY SIGHT!" boomed Auraron's voice as he shoved the air around X and smashed the creature deep into a stony plateau which crumbled onto it. Auraron raised his hands and slowly let them down. As he did so, a tornado that formed a point at the end (having no eye) slowly dropped down to where X was. Whil this happened, Auraron used the winds to pick up a vial of poison from his belt and smash it into the deadly tornado which soon after, turned a rich purple.

Auraron knew that death awaited the creature, as the tornado would break it into many pieces. Each piece would be covered in the deadly poison which would disintigrate them into nothinging ness. It happened in an instant, as the tornado quickly dropped down but stopped, inches from the creature.
"Auraron, I have plans. Do not destroy the creature. Stop now." spoke a voice mentally to Auraron.

Auraron let out what sounded like a sigh and the storm halted, the clouds were all blown away and it seemed as if there never was a storm aside from the rubble...

X, crawled out of the rubble and skittered away, but Auraron paid no attention. His job was finished...

14. "Auraron you idiot!"

Came a scream from behind him, and a powered arm hit him from behind, knocking him to the ground.

"We could have captured and questioned that thing! I could have possessed it at least and taken a look through his memories! Now Shaelus is dead, whatever the hell that thing was is gone, and all the clones are wiped out! Theres no way we'll ever find out the truth behind these matters!"

Revol was furious, going as far as to raise the surrounding molecules in agitation. The world close by twisted and warped for a moment, before Revol calmed down, and regained his composure.

Sanders, Hunt, Gregory, Khuyt, Everyone get over here now. Khuyt, do you have it yet?

Yes Sir, I have it, I made sure to shield it with chaos magic as well. Don't worry, I'm heading there now.

Don't dare forget 'High Priest', what you carry is the only reason we came here. Hide it well, make sure the Teslos don't catch sight of it, especially Auraron, I'm guessing his silence means he has his own set of objectives here as well...

Yes Commander...

Sanders strode up, with Gregory and Hunt hanging onto the side of his cockpit.

"Sanders, Have Jikos, The Hulks, and the Sidewinder meet up with us, abandon the base. I also want the rest of our troops here as well. Have the Hydras secure the area and rebuild as much as they can from our recorded satellite bead."

Sanders followed his orders, but found something amiss.

"Sir, I can't seem to reach Jikos, all contact with him or the Tyrant has been lost..."

Revol swore.

"Went and got himself killed most likely... Damn! We needed the Tyrant! Sanders, can we get the pre-prototype here?"

Sanders nodded, but looked uneasy.

"We can try, but it's not quite as heavily armed as the prototype, and it lacks several of the special functions we built in, it might not be able to harness the power of..."

Revol cut him short by drawing his thumb across his neck.

"Yes Sir..."

Sanders replied solemnly. The entire series of short events were very suspicious, and if "The Lost" had hoped to hide everything from the Teslos, they had failed... Maybe it was a sinister plot, or the final trump card to totally defeat an enemy, anything could happen...

15. Auraron stood to his feet and looked at Revol. He didn't glare, but his eyes seemed to show a mixture of resentment and gloom as Revol clearly didn't trust Auraron's plan. It was no matter, all things would be revealed in their own time...

Sabato spoke, "Do you think we should find a Red Core base and give them a report?"
Kama shook his head, "They may think we assassinated their commanders and are luring them into a trap. We should head home."
With that, Kama lead his siblings to a small building that had survived the destruction of the skirmish. Luck was on his side, as Kama spotted a dimension portal. Of course, Shaleus had built many of them so he could transport his army quickly. Kama pushed in the coordinates for the home dimension of he and his siblings. Once finished, he walked through the freshly opened portal and found himself back in the middle of the Vivuli Jungle. "So nice to be home," spoke Kama aloud as most all of his siblings soon appeared behind him.

Auraron waited back in Shaleus' dimension by the portal. He didn't stand suspiciously, but he had to make a quick trip after "The Lost" had left...

OOC: things are coming to an end, hence the short post; have fun =P (I've got another post after yours unless you decide to move into something deeper...)

16. Revol, knowing there was no possible way for Auraron to hear their mental link, began disscussing in detail what his team were planning.

Sanders, you IDIOT! If they ever found out our plans, they'd turn against us in an instant. We have to play the role of the good guys as long as possible. Shaelus was just a pitiful attempt, of course both you and I know it wasn't a bother to take him out, but if anybody ever finds out that we stole the "you know what" from him, we'd have not only the military from at least four different dimensions on our asses, but the entirety of Ramath-Lehi as well. We can NOT risk this, alright?

Sanders nodded a final time, before tapping a few keys on his keyboard.

"Sir, we should head to the T'Chak Base, this little operation was a good distraction to do a large scale troop resupply. We've almost won the front, and these troops can and WILL turn the tides in our favor."

Revol nodded, waving him off, along with Hunt and Gregory. Turning to Khuyt, he began having a mental conversation of his own, being very, very careful to not let anything leak out to any lesser minds.

Alright Jepaj, lets see it, I want to make sure you took the right one. I doubt even Shaelus ever knew what it truly was...

Khuyt drew out an object from a container of his bike, wrapped in elegant blue silk. Revol accepted it, and then slowly unwrapped it. a faint red glow from within the silk gradually dissapated as the chaos magic was exposed to the open air, and eventually a large stone cube with various fine designs was left held in Revol's hands.

"Perfect..."

He muttered, and hurried to wisk the cube away into the inner workings of his armor...

Sanders saw Auraron left behind, and casually approached him, needing to convince him to take off so he could call in the troops and send them off to T'Chak.

"Auraron? Havent you left yet? I need to do some investigating on recent coordinates on this portal, and until everyone takes off, I can't correctly discover the true warp callibrations."

His voice was calm and serene, his pure white pupils staring down at the elder Teslo in sincerity... Hunt and Gregory stood off to the sides...

17. "Everyone has their own secret to tend to..." murmered Auraron. He conjured short bursts of air to dial in the coordinates to where he needed to go next. He also had conjured a thick layer of air around the speaker of the control panel so it was silent while the numbers where dialed in. He made no movements and the dialing by the wind was unnoticable.

Kama looked over his siblings back in the Vivuli. He was questioning himself where Auraron might have wandered off to.
"Let's go without him. He always has some mysterious business to tend to." spoke Sabato in a sarcastic tone, waving his hands when he said "mysterious".
Kama nodded and led his siblings to the nearest hideout where they all found themselves a place to rest, as they hadn't done so in a long time...

Auraron had a sincere look on his face when he spoke to Sanders. "I hope your operations goes well... friend." Whether or not he was sincere was impossible to tell, as vampires have perfect charisma...

Right before Auraron walked through the portal, he summoned a gust of wind which hit all of the numbers on the control panel after he walked through the portal. The air around the speaker dissapated and many beeps could suddenly be heard. Finding Auraron at this point would be near impossible...

Auraron walked out the other side of a portal into a giant palace made of ice. Strangely enough, there were giant torches on the sides of the long hallway which Auraron walked into. Yet, these torches didn't melt their torchbearers which were made of ice.

Archons lined the hallway which Auraron walked down. They each were well equipped with mystical weapons, only thought to exist in fairy tales. Even though the archons were creatures of the light, their face was almost frightening in a way.

As Auraron reached the end of the hallway, he stopped and waited. A voice spoke and echoed through the hallway.
"You have succeeded in causing the destruction of Shaleus. I would have destroyed him myself, but I needed to let your siblings cause his downfall to see if they were as strong as I thought they were. I will tell you when to return to me and I will inform you of the second step and what you should do. 'The Lost' are both allies and enemies of yours. Don't form any close friendships with them as your brother, Jahhar, has already done. His relationship will be his downfall. Never forget, I'm always watching. Do not make mistakes... You may leave."
Auraron nodded before turning to exit out of the portal which would take him back to the hideout in the Vivuli. Even he needed some rest...

OOC: do what you will; if I need to post once more, I will do so; I believe this is, for the most part, the end

18. Out of Character

Done And Done! :D

Revol waved Jepaj after Sanders and the others, before beginning a short run to some cover behind a large patch of rubble.

"Commander Revol, Serial Number Seven, Seven, Five, Five."

There was a large flash of red light, and a rift appeared, allowing Revol to leap into it, and it closed with a large crack behind him...

"You've brought them both?"

"You Think?"

"No Need To Get Irritated With Me Revol, I'm Only Trying To Help Here..."

"I Know Mase, But It's Hard To Keep Going On Like This, Day After Day, Reversing Things, Tricking People, Causing Hundreds Of Thousands Of Deaths In Dimensions I've Never Even Heard Of... I Think This Is Going To Be It. I Want You To Combine The Twisted Core With The Crystal Heart..."

"Are You Ser-"

"Deadly Serious Mase, Please, just do it, I'll be back in a day to collect the finished product. Don't forget, it's useless to everyone but a spirit like myself. And of course, my team and I are the only spirites in this sorry state aren't we?"

"In all my years, in all the universes, you're the only ones..."

"I Don't want to be the only ones Mase... I'm sick of having to steal bodies and kill people to fuel my undead self..."

"Go Revol, I'll Have It Done In An Hour..."

"Thanks Mase..."

"Get Out Of Here!"

Revol didn't wait, the black and red lights shone everywhere, and Revol was through a rift before he could look back...

Sanders quickly oversaw thw troop transfer, and then ordered in a squad of X-5 Spider Drones, And a Gyro, "Just In Case." Of course, in his line of work, usually whatever resupplies you took, you ended up exhausting...
