She smiled as he spoke, nodding and watching him go to the couch. "Okay. I'll go get you some blankets." She stepped down the hall, sliding into her herb room and opening the closet door. She pulled clean sheets and a comforter down from one of the shelves there, setting them on her desk and reaching for spare pillows. She'd always, in the back of her mind, thought of Averin coming back when she moved. The herb room had been a very recent re-decoration, because she'd needed the space and had to give up some of the hope that Averin was returning. Not all of it, though; it was where the couch-bed had come into the equation. She always made room for him, and she'd made sure to get the most comfortable one she could find. Stacking four pillows on the comforter and lifting the pile, Alamu stumbled her way back out to the living room, peering around the pile and navigating her way to the couch, putting the pile next to it before plopping down beside the love of her life. "So what would you like to do now? I can set up the bed for you if you want, I'm sure you're tired."
As Averin make himself at home as Alamu told him that she was going to get some blankets for him. He just nodded at her with a pearly white smile just as he acknowledged her before truly relaxing back into the sofa to let his tense muscles rest. While she was away he thought for a moment about what he wanted for their future. Was he really ready to commit himself to this duty and all? Was she ready? These were difficult questions that ran through his mind till she came back. Right now he should just care of what he has right now and plan the future with the one he was in love with. When he saw her stumbling down the hallway bringing a stack of pillows and blankets to him. Averin quickly got up and moved over to her to aid her as much as he could. As they dump the stuff onto one side of the couch just as he plopped down next to it. He let out a sigh just as Alamu sat next to him and muttered about doing something or going to sleep. Letting out a small laugh before turning his attention to her once again with a smile. “I have a request… you have something we can eat for dinner Alamu? I’m more hungry than tired.” Averin asked.
Alamu smiled at the request, rising from her seat. "Of course! I have some Jeka grain, I can mix it in with some Danya and make Nausrullt?" She offered, stepping into the kitchen and opening the cabinets to make sure she had the ingredients she needed. Cooking had become something else she enjoyed, though she went out to eat more often than not. It was rare that she even filled her cabinets, so it was somewhat of a relief that she found the things she was looking for. Setting up her kitchen utensils, she turned on the stove and set to work, soon filling the house with wonderful aromas as she steamed the Jeka, rolling it into a ball in the Danya and putting each one on the stove. It took about fifteen minutes to finish the meal, putting the little balls on two plates with some greens and walking back out to the living room. "Here, this should be alright." She smiled, settling down next to him again and holding out one of the plates.
Averin watched her rise up and head to the kitchen as she asked him if Nausrullt will be good to him. He hasn’t had that dish in a while so with a smile he told her yes. His eyes glanced at Alamu as she went through the cabinets pulling jars out before she actually started to make the meal. Getting up to check on how she was doing this dinner she was cooking. When Alamu put the food into the stove and the sweet aroma of it was inhaled by him; he could help, but let out a “Mmmm” out near her ear. “I missed this meal and what’s better; it’s being made by the love of my life.” He told her with a big grin. Once the meal was done after the fifteen minutes, Averin sat down at the sofa once again as Alamu placed the plate of Nausrullt in front of him. He saw her sit down with a plate of her own, which was nice. Averin slowly started to eat the food. If he didn’t have food in his mouth or embarrassed to, he would moan in delight at the taste of this meal. “Alamu, this is great!” Averin stated with a giant smile on his face.
Alamu giggled as he came up behind her, leaning back against his chest and smiling up at him. "It'll be done soon, and you can enjoy it." She smiled, quickly finishing up and transfering the food to plates before moving into the living room. Alamu blushed at the obviously delighted sounds Averin made, eating her own slowly. She blushed again as he spoke, finishing her plate off with a smile. "Thanks. I didn't do too bad this time, did I?" She remembered when she first started cooking, she'd almost set the house on fire. She was glad she'd gotten better than that in time to impress Averin. Alamu collected the plates as soon as they were done, heading into the kitchen once more to wash them and put them in the cabinets. Then she went back to the couch, settling in next to Averin and leaning her head on his shoulder. "So, what would you like to do now?"
Averin watched her take the plates to the kitchen to clean then before returning to him so she could rest on him. He gave a sweet and lovely smile at her as he stroked her hair through his fingers. “We can go to bed if you want.” He told her before moving to kiss her once again.
Alamu smiled, tilting her head up for the kiss. "Yeah...I am getting a bit tired." She remained curled up beside him for a moment before she sighed, pressing a kiss to his cheek and standing up. "Don't forget to pull out the bed for yourself." She smiled, heading down the hall and turning to wave at him. "Night, Averin. Sleep well." She headed to her room, closing the door gently behind her and quickly changing into her pajamas before crawling into bed. She curled into a little ball under the covers, closing her eyes and falling into a light sleep. She had an early day tomorrow.
