Leuka turned away, ever so slightly disappointed. Alchemy was her passion; her dedication; her obsession. Any mention of it seduced her immediately. And yet her new companion somehow found alchemy worthy of about a thousand other subjects on its side. The pair were professionally incompatible, and Leuka, to keep up politeness, could only think of one rather off-topic question. "WhatÂ’s a transmuter?"
He grinned wide. Most Alchemy is transmutation. nearly all. your hard-pressed to find some that isn't. Transmutation is turning something into something else by changing its shape and constitution of matter. basically, I could change lead into gold. of course, to do so, you need so much lead you lose money... He shrugged it off. He had tried that. He didn't remember. something in the back of his mind was itching to get out. He pushed it away and turned his attention back to Leuka. I'm also a bit of a fighter. comes in handy some times, when you go through Bhim. he said, trailing off. He had never been to bhim, as far as he knew. That thing in the back of his mind woke up again, nagging to get out. He silenced it a second time, and yawned.
Leuka snarled. "I'm an alchemist, and you think I don't know what my own fucking subject means?!" Oh yes, she was very protective of alchemy, and if this guy couldn't pick that up, then he was stupid. She turned away and folded her arms. "I know what transmutation is, but there's no such thing as a bloody... transmuter. God. Boys are so bloody arrogant. You were whimpering and trying to hug me a second ago, but you think you know it all, don't you?"
He simply smiled, listening intently. ...knowing everything would not be very entertaining, would it? if you think of everything at a base, learning and reacting keeps us entertained. He said, slowly, sliding off the branch. I get the feeling you want me to leave... he said, starting to walk down the street, in the knowledge that someone that kind would feel guilt and pity.
"You idiot!" She laughed, feverishly amused. When his vain ass had strutted out of sight, Leuka leapt expertly from the tree and began walking in the opposite direction, hissing to herself; "What an arrogant asshole." She was better off with Dark.
His ears perked up and he turned on his heel, and began jogging. He caught up to her and slowed to match her pace. You were supposed to pity me. have a heart! he said, scowling. He stopped where he was, and dropped his head with a sigh. Sorry! he said, sincerely, before he walked off the road.
