Nelson looked at his feet. "I doubt it will be safe to live in your cave anymore..Especially with the way the rock is crumbling now." Once again, he poked at the mountain's side gently, creating numerous cracks leading from the spot his fingertip touched the so-called 'solid' rock. He shook his head. "Better start moving out now if you want to save your furniture." Man, it was such a perfect cave...
Shakes her head slowly and sighs as she rubs her cheek up against Nelson's cheek. Turns away from him and walks back to Giga looking to the ground as she goes. Licks her lips a bit. "No reason...to go back up after the things that are in the cave, I mean it would be suicide if I was to do it." Stops near Giga and looks up at him from the ground and laughs slightly. Wags her tail slowly and continues to look to him. "Becides...I was looking to find myself somewhere else to call home...I guess...", looks down away from Giga and sighs again in a great deal.
Kae felt both relieved and stupid. Giga was not some big scary monster afterall. He was Rachel's friend and therefore, her friend, right? She could go up to her two friends now, it was quite safe. Wasn't it? But try as she might, she couldn't stop shivering and she could still hear her heart thumping away. She walked up to them, smiling nervously at Giga. But as she got closer, she made sure she avoided his gaze fo she knew that if she were to look at those massive orbs, she would panick again. She overheard Rachel's last words and said, I'm sorry about your cave, Rachel. And then, suddenly she had an idea. Not a brilliat one, but one nevertheless. Hey, Rachel? I was on my way to my Aunt's cave when I met Nelson, she lives an hour or so away. Around where she lives, there are many empty caves, I know that for a fact as I used to go and explore them when I was a Niotie. We have a lake there, too, it belongs to my family but I'm sure my Aunt would be glad to have some company. She only gets to see Kuentin, my cousin, and I, during the holidays. And, if you enjoy hunting, there's a forest nearby too, with many Reyhants and, as far as I al concerned, not dangerous birds.
Rachel smiles as she hears the suggestion from Kae. But frowns and shakes her head slowly looking up at her giantic friend. Ups back up onto his curled tail then from there up onto his backside. Walks along his spiked back then comes to a spot where a spike was missing then sits down. Shakes her head slowly and sighs as she looks to Kae from where she sat. "I'm sorry my dear Kae. It is a very nice offer but I can't take my Giga with me. He is to big for the population and others will see him as a threat." Places a forepaw on one of the long spikes then wraps her human like fingers about it. Feels the warmth of his body rising up beneath her behide and coursing through her being. "I have to go somewhere...away from the rest of the world...somewhere that they couldn't find me and Giga." Laughs a bit as she speaks this then draws back her paw/hand.
Nelson frowned at Rachel and walked away from the side of the mountain, closer to Giga. He didn't want it to cave in on him, or something. "I'm sure we can find someplace for you to live that's nearby." From the beach behind him, a gust of wind blew towards the forest, causing the leaves to sway violently. He pulled his spikey royal blue hair behind his ears and added, "The forest looks quite uninhabited, if you ask me..." He took a few steps towards the forest and stood in front of a decomposing log that lay in a shady area beneath a tree. "You'll still be close to the beach, right? All you'll miss is the magnificent view of the ocean when you wake up in the morning..." Nelson really felt sorry for Rachel and really wanted to help her. After all, she had saved his life a few days back.
Shakes her head again, Rachel dropped down off of Giga's back. Walks over to where Nelson set then kneels down beside him. Places her arm around his neck then leans her head against his looking to the gloomy forest. "I wouldn't want to...be any trouble to anyone about these parts. I mean it would be best for me to leave here and never come back." Closes her eyes slightly and sighs as she does. Draws her head back from Nelson slowly peaking him on the cheek softly with a kiss. Stands back up and stretches slightly looking off without noticing what she looked at. "That is very gracious of you, Nelson. But I'm sorry...I have to think about one other that shouldn't exist in this time and age." Looks back to Nelson and frowns then back to her giant red friend. "He is...to important to me, to just let him go."
Slightly confused, Nelson inquired Rachel about her plans for finding a new home. "But why move so far away when you can move in to someplace right here? If you ask me, it's only going to be this _side_ of the mountain that will collapse, so Giga's secret cavern might just remain intact." He raised his eyebrow, turning his head to the mountain once again.
Rachel walks back to Giga and sits down on the ground beside one of his massive talons then leans back relaxing against him. Giga leans his head down and brushes up against Rachel slightly then flicks his fork-tongue once before lifting his head back up. "Well, the mountain isn't worth savaging, besides...I was looking forward to getting myself an island out at sea. Somewhere that is surrounded by water, somewhere...I can finally relax for a change." Closes her eyes slightly and leans her head back against Giga. Licks her lips a bit and wonders about if such a place existed.
Guess she really doesn't want my advice. She's sure about it. Nelson sighed, and shook his head slowly. "Alright then. I guess I'll just carry on with my exploring around here. I might go check out the swamp, or something. Then I'll have to be back in school, anyways." He smiled slightly, pretty sad he had to leave Rachel alone. It didn't look like she wanted him to stay anyways. Convincing her was impossible. He hoped, at least, that Kae would come with him.
Rachel looked back over her shoulder at her dear friend Nelson then frowns looking at his poor expression. Walks over to him then drops down onto a knee infront of him then gives him a tight hug. Whispers softly into his ear as she does. "You don't have to worry Nelson...once I find a place suitible enough for Giga and I. I will meet up with you again shortly after, so don't worry about me leaving you...for to long." Draws back from hugging him then grins. Winks at Nelson then stands back up. Upon standing up she jumps into the air and comes down upon Giga's back gently then sits down where the missing spike is on his spine. "Goodbye...Nelson! I will see you again really soon! I promise that!" Upon speaking these words Rachel calls out to Giga. Giga roars aloud and spreads his massive wings outward, casting a giantic shadow out over Nelson and Kae. Then with a huge flap of his wings Giga blasts up off the ground then heads out over the sea. Rachel stands from where she sat then waves to the both of them as she vainishes off over the watery oasis. ooc: This is the last post from me, here on this thread. So, until next time?!
ooC: Wow, it's been a long thread. I'll see what Chuya says before posting my last here, in case Kaelarah still wants to hang out with Nelson. biC: He nodded at her and wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace. "It was great meeting you. I hope we meet again." He smiled warmly and waved goodbye as she climbed onto Giga and watched as they flew away and until he lost sight of them on the horizon. Nelson sighed, and looked at Kae. "Soooo...."
OOC: Sorry for being so inactive !!! *slaps head* Izzo, do you want to create a new thread for Kae & Nelson? BIC: Kae felt sad for Rachel too... If it hadn't been for us, she and Giga would have been able to stay here... she thought guiltily. She wished she knew of such an island for her friend, but, sadly, she barely knew anything of Ramath-Lehi's geography. Kae froze when she saw Rachel hug Nelson. She couldn't say why but it made her feel sad and angry. Am I jealous?! she thought suddenly. But why should I? Nelson is just friend, I barely know him ... right? And, anyway what do I care if they love each other? she thought gloomily, still standing a little further away from them. Oh, come off it, you twit. They're just friends.. We're just friends... And you'd better go say goodbye. Wit that she came up to them and hugged Rachel before she took off with Giga. So. Well, if you want to continue exploring on your own, I guess I'll just go to my Aunt's cave... she said painfully. She didn't want to leave him and yet she felt as though she was a burden. She was far from being brave like Rachel... Am I being jealous again?!
ooC: Yeah, I think we should start a new one. This one's old and lengthy. biC: Nelson looked at Kae with wide eyes. He saw that certain glare in her eyes when Rachel had hugged him. He smiled at the thought. Jealous? Ah, he wished. He shrugged the thought off, doubtful. "You don't have to go, do you?" He raised an inquiring eyebrow, hopeful she'd tag along with him. "I do get sort of lonely when..well, when I'm alone." Nelson felt stupid for saying that. Ugh, I have to stop doing that.
