Nyx thought for a moment. "I believe I seen a little place just outside the market. It looks rather dingey and run down but, they might have decent food there. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, and quickly looked away. She walked over to the door, and her hand smacked a piece of the frame which was broken. She let out a curse, and ran a blood red fingernail over the spot and zapped it. Not that it would have any effect on the frame but, it made her feel better.
<span style='color:purple'>Remind me not to get you angry</span> He said, watching her zap the doorframe and smiling. One more thing to wonder about this girl.
Nyx heard his words, and felt herself blush. She hadn't realized that he had been watching her. She stammered,"Uh.." She looked at the ground and regained her composure. Once the redness was gone, she turned and looked at him. "So, did you want to go over to the little place I noticed outside the market?"
<span style='color:purple'>Lead the way</span> He said, smiling and toying around with the air, creating a mini tornado in his hand, then crushing it and letting the air spin around for a few seconds.
Nyx watched with a smile on her face. She turned and looked both directions in the alley, and after a moment figured out which direction they should take. She started walking just slow enough that she didn't appear to be in a hurry and kept her eyes partially unfocused, so that she couldn't be accused of staring at anybody. She really didn't feel like having to run again, and had no idea if he flew or not. She watched as they walked, as more little fights broke out around them over prices. She would definately remember to bring her cloak with her next time.
Raizan followed her, his eyes still on the lookout for any of the others who had chased them earlier. It was too easy escaping them, no pendragon was that dumb. He had a bad feeling about them, and his bad feelings were usually right.
Nyx sped up her pace slightly, and then stopped. She whispered,"Did you hear something?" She listened carefully, just as she did when she was at work, and sure enough she heard another dragon besides the two of them breathing. She whispered,"There is someone behind you. I am not apologizing for what I am about to do." She couldn't stand being followed, and not having any idea why. Even if it was because she was an anubi, would have been a good enough reason. She pushed him against the wall, and spun around taking a swing, and once again her aim was dead on. She looked coldly at the dragon, that she had just slammed her fist into his jaw. She eyed him up and down, and in a voice as cold as the look on her face, asked,"<span style='color:red'>Why are you following us</span>?"
<span style='color:purple'>I'd like to know the same thing</span> Raizan said, looking at the dragon. <span style='color:purple'>I remember you, I beat the crap out of you and sent you into the wall next to her</span> He said, hearing something. He wouldn't come after me alone again, which means... Raizan thought, turning around and seeing a few of the anubi haters in front of them. He backed up against nyx, getting into a fighting stance. <span style='color:purple'>Its five on two, seems a little unfair to them doesn't it</span>
Nyx quickly looked at each of the dragons. She grinned over his comment. "Your right it does seem a little unfair to them but, hey thats what makes this fun." She felt his back against his hers. She glanced up and spotted a street light above them. She continued grinning, as she said,"<span style='color:red'>It would be a good idea for all of you to take a step back. If you decide not to, thats fine with me also</span>." She straightened her back and in the next instant, a circle of electricity surrounded them, zapping and slightly burning the other dragons. She said in a calm voice,"<span style='color:red'>I told you so</span>."
Raizan noticed that the dragon he had beat up earlier try the same trick with the dagger again. <span style='color:purple'>You must have a horrible memory</span> He said, stopping the dagger in front of his face again. No one ever learned to pay attention to anyone around them. He always did, just in case he had to fight, and it had payed off, again. The dagger was sent back to its owner, pinning him to the wall by his hair as raizan turned to face the anubi haters. Some of them had started to get up and back away, scared of nyx's control over electricity. He would teach them to fear wind as well. <span style='color:purple'>Just where do you think you are going?</span> He said, a wall of wind appearing behind them, just as a gust hit them from the front and sent them into it, more than likely breaking a bone or two. The wind died down, leaving them on the ground and in much pain as the got up again. Raizan walked up to them, cracking his knuckles as he did so. <span style='color:purple'>This is the part where you run away before I beat the shit out of you.</span>
Nyz grinned as the arden ran away. She stretched. "That was fun. The place I was talking about isn't much further." She looked at him and smiled. She started walking again, enjoying the feel of the electricity running through her veins. She stayed alert, just incase of another run in. She spotted the little run down building, not far ahead of them, and laughed. She watched the dragon who had just ran away, run once more. "Perhaps, he won't bother us again." She approached the door, and suppressed her laughter. She pulled the door open, and stepped aside as several dragons quickly left. She glanced inside, and the dragon behind the counter just shook his head.
Raizan just rolled his eyes as the few in the restaurant ran way, knowing they were no match for them. <span style='color:purple'>They won't bother us again, I think they know better</span> He said, smiling at her and looking around the place, still on alert.
Nyx smiled and stepped inside. She looked around and picked a table, where they would be able to see outside but, not be very easily seen from outside. She walked over to the table and sat down. She picked up the paper menu and scanned it for a moment. She let her eyes drift over to Raizan for a moment, and then back to the menu. She was hoping for something besides a burger but, as she looked at the menu, a burger was the best thing to get here. She motioned for the older dragon, who was trying to hide the fact that he seemed to be watching them, over to the table. "<span style='color:red'>I will take a bacon cheeseburger and a coke</span>." She put down the menu and waited to see what Raizan decided to order.
<span style='color:purple'>I'll have the same</span> He said, his wings stretching themselves out a little. <span style='color:purple'>You never told me you had electrokinesis as one of your trades.</span>
She looked across the table at him, with a slight look of suprise. "Oh well, that is probably because I am used to people just not asking. My other trade is flying. What are your trades?"
<span style='color:purple'>Aerokinesis and Fighting</span> He said, waiting for the food. He was curious about her, she had peaked his intrest unlike many other pendragons, she seemed to have some depth to her, not just the shallow facades everyone put up, himself included sometimes.
Nyx smiled. "I had guessed Fighting, you are quite good at both of them. One of the best that I have seen." She looked down at the table and toyed with the menu. She wasn't one to give out compliments they were far and few between. She wasn't quite sure why this arden, was on of the rare ones to get a compliment but, she had already said the words and wasn't going to take them back. She let out a quick sigh of relief, as the owner brought them thier food. She took a drink of her coke and smiled as the cold carbonation slid down her throat. She picked up her burger and took a bite out of it. She chewed it and swallowed. "The food here is better than I thought it would be."
<span style='color:purple'>Appearences can be deciving</span> He said, starting to eat and smiling at her compliment. <span style='color:purple'>You aren't to bad yourself</span>
Nyx smiled as she finished her burger, and took a drink of her coke. "Yes, they can be decieving. Thank you." She looked at him and felt herself blush again, and she wasn't quite sure why she kept blushing. "Sorry, I am not used to getting compliments." She looked back down at her glass and toyed with it.
<span style='color:purple'>Why not, you deserve them. You are a very talented with electrokinesis</span> He said, smiling at her and watching her blush. She looks cute when shes blushing...huh where did that come from He thought, shaking his head and clearing his thoughts.
