Zengeis eyed Julia, just starting to realize how innocent she must be. "Smoke... like, cigarettes?" as he spoke he fished out a single cig from the carton in his back pocket, holding it up so she could see it.
Julia hopped off her bed and smoothed out her dress. Then she walked over to him and looked at it closley. She reached up to grab it. "You said you smoke it? Does that involve flames?"she asked with a stare.
"Yeah... you set the end on fire, then inhale the smoke. It's addictive though..." he trailed off bitterly, already feeling the craving kick in now that he had set eyes on the cig. He let Julia take the cigarettte, but watched her carefully, wonder what she was going to do with it.
Julia eyed it rather close. She sniffed it and gave it back to him. "It smells like the peace-pipes my father would sell....but not as strong of a scent..." She went back to her suitcase and brought one out. It had markings all over in ancient Ramathian and was long and sleek. The end where one would put a tobacco leaf or any other kind of substance within to smoke smelled like it was barley used. She brought it to him. "Here...."
Zengeis tucked the cigarette into one of his armbelts for later, although he'd be sure not to light up anywhere near their room. "Peace-pipes, eh? Mind if I take a closer look?" he asked, reaching out towards the pipe. His tongue receeded back into his maw, until only the double tips were barely visible, just peeking out from under his lips.
Julia handed him the Peace-pipe. "you can have it." She watched him as she handed it to him. 'Daddy said I should give it to a friend.....In our family, thats a tradtion to give to people who help us...."
"Oh..." Zen replied, carefully accepting the pipe. "Thanks, it's really nice." he murmured, eyeing the forgein markings scribed onto its sides. "Just a tick!" he grunted, rolling off the end of his bed and jerking open the lowermost drawer in his dresser. He rummaged around, moving aside his cd collection, and abundance of accessories to get at what he was looking for. With a small noise of triumph, he pulled out a small stuffed animal. He held it up, slowing it to Julia. It was a dragon plushie -the real type of dragon, the mythical ones- made of neon yellow velvety material, complete with a comically tiny pair of silver silk wings. Its stitched mouth was turned up into a silly grin; the small green glass eyes set under a horned brow. The back of the toy was striped with black, almost tiger-like markings. Zen's only regret was that the plushie smelled faintly like his cigarette smoke, thanks to it's long period of being kept in his drawers. "Here. You gave me something, now I give you this. I made it m'self a while ago." he smiled, "I never really played with it that much."
her eyes light up with excitment as she takes the plushie. "Wow....this is so nice..." She hugs the new doll real tight. A big smile upon her face. As large as the one that she had when she had been on the elevator. 'Does he have a name?"
"Nope, guess you get to name him." Zengeis grinned widely. For some reason, seeing Julia smile like that gave Zen a warm, fuzzy feeling in the pit of his stomach; it felt nice. "I make stuff like him all the time, s'how I make my pocket money." he said, tucking the peace-pipe into the same drawer he had gotten the plushie from.
She looked at the doll hard for a moment then smiled again. "His name is Little Zengels." she smiled up at him holding the Little Zengels close and tightly. Out of Character

OH MY GOD! SHORT POST! Yay! *does a Lil' dance*

Zengeis grinned, laughing quietly. This kid was just too cute. "Glad yeh like him, he's one of my favs that I've made so far." he yawned, flopping down on his back. "So whatcha here to learn, other than the basics?" he inquired, curious to just what the little kids trades were.
"um.." she put her hand in the pocket of her dress and fiddled around in it. soon she pulled out a peice of paper and read it aloud. "Fighting, Basic.....and um...P-Pyroki-kin-eesus, basic." she looked up at him. 'Whats Pyrokineesus?" Out of Character

i mispelled those on purpose...she is supposed to say them all little kid cutey like.
