1. <font color='#00FF00'>OOC: Thx, oh by the way, is it just me, or has my health gone down. Why oh why??

IC: Avius's smile faded to a frown as he realised he was not as welcome as he had hoped. They're just wary, I mean who wouldn't be he thought to himself I'm so stupid, thinking a group of obviously injured 'dragons would welcome me so easily. I am a fool A hard voice pulled Avius from his reverie.
Hi...Who are you, and what do you want? Said a male dragon, whose faint yellow fur made him seem to glow. Avius recoiled. Without the singed fur and very sorry appearance, this was quite a handsome dragon. This reminded him of his own drab appearance, and he felt a stab of jealousy.
I... I am sorry i jumped you like that, my name is Avius, and I was 'in the area' when I saw you. After many lonely nights travelling I hungered for company. My apologies.
Avius sincerly hoped these dragons were friendly. Not they they held much of a threat, in the state they were in. Suddenly a famous 'dragon's words sprung to mind. <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Appearances can be decieving.</td></tr></table> Avius reminded himself to be wary.</font>

2. <font color='#FDD017'>OOC: Don't know. Someone attacked u probably. Just heal youself, you'll be fine [IMG] (it heppened to me too...) BTW Storm, that's fine. We'll bring you with us [IMG]

IC: The new 'dragon's smile faded, looking crestfallen. "I... I am sorry I jumped you like that, my name is Avius, and I was 'in the area' when I saw you. After many lonely nights travelling I hungered for company. My apologies." The new 'dragons face hardened, and became a mask. Probably thinks we don't want him. Still, can't be to careful... Tajar thought, throwong a glance at the still unconcious blakc 'dragon. "I'm sorry for being so abrupt, Avius. I'm just a bit jumpy. Dangerous times, dangerous weather, you know?" He gave a friendly smile.</font>

3. <font color='#FDD017'>The white 'dragon glanced at the still unconscious black one, not too far away. "I'm sorry for being so abrupt, Avius. I'm just a bit jumpy. Dangerous times, dangerous weather, you know?" The dragon smiled. Avius smiled back.Thes dragons seem pretty friendly after all, I probably just gave them a bit of a fright Is there anything I can do, 'cause you three look pretty worn out... Avius glanced at the black dragon. The white dragon didn't say anything for a few seconds and Avius realised he hadn't heard him, or he was ignoring him. So what happened here anyway? And is there anything I can do to help, you guys look pretty worn out.
Avius hoped there was.</font>

4. <font color='#810541'>OOC: Okay I'm back ^-^ Anyone know what happened to Talonoka? He hasn't seemed to reply in quite a while. Before my last one actually! Wow... anyway, hi Slayer nice to meet you. Happy to see your adding some spice to our thread.  [IMG]

IC: The midnight female suddenly snapped back into reality. Her thoughts had carried her far away from the burnt and smoking field she stood in now. Beside her was the, by now, quite familiar presence of Tajar and in front was a strangly coloured male who was speaking.

So what happened here anyway? And is there anything I can do to help, you guys look pretty worn out.

She looked around the area, still slightly dazed and suddenly realized that her legs hurt in the effort of holding her not so significant weight up. With a sigh she let herself sit. She and Tajar wern't far from the black male who still wasn't concious, but nor were they close enough to be in range of his claws or teeth if he did wake.

Storm looked over the new male, he was deffinetly interesting to look at. His colouring more vibrant than her own. She gathered her wits about her before speaking.

"Worn out? We're lucky to be alive! As for what happened, to put it simply we were hit by a bolt of lightning... What did you say your name was?"

She realized her tone had been a bit agressive towards the younger male, but couldn't bring herself to care about it even though she knew he probably believed her to now be pompous and arrogant. She could feel the beginning of a massive headach beginning to build at the back of her skull and dreaded what it would become. The midnight and gold female winced at what Tajar must have been feeling. He, afterall, had taken the majority of the hit.</font>

5. <font color='#FDD017'>OOC: Welcome back! Sorry I haven't been on, school [IMG] \

IC: Tajar tried to hide a wince as he felt a second wave of pain seewp over his body, causing his leg to burn, and his head to pound. He  tried to focus on what the brown 'dragon was saying, but there seemed to be three of them.
A third wave swept his body, and he barely managed to stay standing.
He heard Storm speak, and tried to speak also, but the words wouldn't come out.

"Yes...worn out...bad...storm...Storm! That's Storm!"

Tajar laughed weakly and deliriously, as his head pounded.

"You're..uhh...

Tajar's world swam, flashing different colours. He staggered forward, trying to stand up, but his legs buckled underneath him, and once again, all went black.</font>

6. <font color='#8D38C9'>(ooc: i am in fact a she, and i was on holiday. sorry for the delay ^_^ welcome to the thread, as well [IMG] )

Akoran stirred a little, then lifted his head.
Pain shot through his body. He gave a screeching howl of terrified pain and lay stiff and still in the soaked grass, eyes wide, barely able to breathe through the shock and agony. He heard voices of 'dragons again, and kicked out in delirious fear.

(ooc: short and sweet... oh well.)</font>

7. <font color='#FDD017'>OOC: Okay, i'm going to do that dream thing again. Tajar can't do much right now in hiscomatose state, so he's going to dream. I'm not sure if this is going to mean anything (prophecy) or if it's going to be plain stupid.

IC: Tajar once again found himself in the large, stone room. He looked around, and saw the black 'dragon only for it to suddenly dissappear. The room seemed to be full of boxes, and old tables.   "Where am I?" Said Tajar, to no-one, his dream-voice echoing off the walls. He walked up to a door, and tryed to push it open. Locked... He thought. He tried another door, which opened before he even touched it. "Huh?" He stepped forward, and the door swung shut, and Tajar heardthe click of it locking. "What the..." He looked around in his new environment. He seemed to be in a long hall, with many passageways branching off it. Now what? He looked for one that led somewhere interesting, but all were long, dark, and he couldn't see the other end. Picking one at random, he walked along cautiously. He stepped through an open archway, into a room full of bizzare looking contraptions. Machina! -where- am I? He thought, pressing his wet nose to the cold metal of a ruined machina. "Where can you find machina inside a building?" He said aloud. "Unless..." He thought of a student from the academy he had once talked to "And in the basement, there are all sorts of strange things. I haven't seen them myself, I obey the rules, but others say they even have machina!". He looked around, once again, at the stone walls. I can't be at the Academy, can I? I've never even been to Swaraj! He then remebered the storm, and falling unconcious again. Ah! I'm dreaming! But it all seems so real...</font>

8. <font color='#00FF00'>ooc: soz i havn't replied for a while. School just got into exam week [IMG] oh well I've always got this site to cheer me up [IMG]

IC: Oh sorry, I'm Avius. He looked over at the white 'dragon and by the raving he's doing, I'm guessing your Storm? If the white dragon hadn't suddenly blacked out, Avius might have smiled, or even laughed. Avius ran over to the white 'dragon, and looked to Storm. That was some bolt of lightning! Suddenly the black 'dragon lying unconscious, wasn't unconscious anymore. He howled out in pain kicking and rolling in pain. Avius didn't know what to do. I should never have landed He thought to himself. Now this is getting scary Avius reached into his mind, and focused. His spirit touched the etermity of Fronima and let it flow through his paws, channeling the power. But it didn't work. Fronima had gone. Avius frowned and tried again. Nothing. His tail flame sputtered and went out. What the!!! Whats wrong with me!!!!! I can't touch Fronima! A tear ran down Avius's snout. He howled in frustration. It was like loosing a loved one. Not that Avius had ever known any. He bowed his head.</font>

9. <font color='#810541'>OOC: Oh sorry Talon! You would think that with a name like 'Storm' I'd become more observant of peoples genders. *sigh* Hope you had a great holiday!
SlaYeR, dont worry about it and good luck with your finals!
Auradio, he he, its not stupid, its just hard to work with. Especially with a characer who is telepathicly impaired. >.< I tried to work with your dream-scape. If it worked out yay if not sorry. ^-^
and to all; I'm sorry about the length of this. I got a bit carried away and I tried to cut it down but it didn't really work... and this whole little blurb isn't helping... I'm going to go back and hide in my dark hole called a "room". *grins*

IC:  It had almost seemed as if things were beginning to take a turn for the better until something decided to crack and then everything came crashing down. Before things could even register in Storm's mind the black male had awoken with a howl of pain and a kick of pure panic and in that same instant Tajar yelled out, delirious and obviously disoriented before taking a few steps and collapsing, into an unconscious heap of fur.

The stranger, who managed to get out his name before Tajar collapsed, ran to the white male before Storm could even take a step. Instead she turned towards the black male, but before she could utter a single word Avius released his own howl of pain and terror and then just stood, shaking, over Tajar. A few tears running down his muzzle.

The female looked at the three surrounding her in a confused daze. She wasn't anything near an empath, but even she could 'feel' the pain rolling off of them in waves. What had happened? Her chest tightened as fear crept into her. "Its my curse... Its happening! Oh god, NO! Not now, please not now. Not to these three. I barely know them! This.... this cant be happening!" Her eyes darted back and forth between the three males, a powerful urge to run came over her and nearly blacked out all other thoughts. She began to drown in her own pool of doubt and fear, fighting for air.

With a noisy breath and a sharp shake of her head she pushed her own fear down, knowing that she was probably the only semi-rational 'dragon for miles at the moment. She took a few stiff steps towards Avius and not-so-softly shoved him with her shoulder and yelled his name, hoping it would snap him out of whatever daze had taken him over. She didn't realized that snapping him out of his thoughts could quite easily cause more harm than good. She had no clue that the male was experiencing so great a heart wrenching loss that would leave all but the coldest of pendragons in a stupor for what could last for days. Her only concern was fixing what she believed may have been caused, indirectly so, by herself.

Taking Avius's place beside Tajar, Storm lay down beside him and tightly closed her eyes. With every once of energy she had in her lanky frame she concentrated on touching his mind with her own. The physical contact hopefully enhancing her meager talent. In her minds eye she could see the fuzzy image of a dark stone room filled with heaps of metal scraps and devices of all sorts. In front of it all was the blurred image of Tajar. She didn't remember walking, but suddenly she was directly behind the male. "Tajar! Are you okay? You have to wake up! I don’t know what is going on here but please wake up! Tajar? Can you hear me? Tajar...?" She could feel her grasp of his mind beginning to slip and the panic within her began to rise again. Her chest tightened to the point where it hurt and breathing started to become difficult.</font>

10. <font color='#8D38C9'>(ooc: hehe, that's okay Storm ^_^ good luck with the finals, Slayer&#33[IMG]

In his sudden frenzy, Akoran caught sight of the white male, who suddenly collapsed with a howl, and the newcomer, who ran over to the white 'dragon and began to shake and sob as though facing death. The blue female shoved the newcomer aside. Anoth spasm of pain wracked Akoran's body and he reared up for a second, the pain in his leg screaming white-hot, then fell forward. Suddenly enraged by paiin and fear, he flung himself forward and felt hizs body crash into the blue female, hearing his leg crack again. He flung his head back and howled, shaking his head as if to say no to the whole world.
WHY? Let me go! Please, release me! What am I doing? PLEASE!</font>

11. <font color='#810541'>The midnight female was jolted out of Tajars mind when her body was pushed aside by the black male. His leg snapped and he too fell, almost landing on her. Storm 'heard' the anguish in the males cry and jerked back involentarily as it ripped through her head. Obviously she was becoming a bit more sensitive to telepathy than she would have ever imagined.

She shook her head, dazed still after being yanked from Tajar's mind after loosing physical contact. In a surprisingly calm voice, far too calm for the panic she felt inside, she placed speech into the males mind and sent a soothing mental image of the calm sea on a sunny day.

<span style='color:navy'>"Who...? Who are you speaking too? What is wrong? Talk to me!"</span>

She hoped her mental powers, frivilous as they were, would be strong enough with him at such a close proximity too herself to get through the barriers he seemed to have up around his mind.</font>

12. <font color='#CC0033'>OOC: Sry I haven't been on, internets been down

IC: Tajar looked around, at the walls. Pehaps I am at the academy.... Suddenly, he felt another 'dragon in his mind, and the dream blurred, and merged with the real world. He saw Storm, her face grief-stricken. He saw the black 'dragon howling, and the new 'dragon weeping on the ground.
Storm? Storm..what's ha.... Suddenly, he felt Storm pulled from his mind, and he sunk back into his dream. However, he was no longer in the Academy. He found himself whirling through the air, through a vortex of shifting shapes and colours. Suddenly, he was back on the hill. All around him was dark, and he alone, was the only form of life. No 'dragons, no animals, not even one plant. All was black, and bare. A great sadness came over him suddenly, and he laid down and wept.  What happened? Why is there nothing? Surely not even the Rapine leave this devastation... He walked forward, and looked around. Suddenly, he felt something, another pendragon! He looked around, and saw something that chilled him to the bone. A body lay rotting behind a rock, yet the dragon seemed half alive. A 'shadow' of the 'dragon was hanging half out, a spirit! Tajar noticed that the spirit-dragon seemed to be fading, and once again Tajar wondered what had happened.

OOC: Ok...that was odd. I think this is in the future, or possible future. Soulsuckers!</font>

13. <font color='#8D38C9'>(OOC: Okay, I haven't been around for while, sorry.

Through his blind terror, somehow Akoran caught a snatch of speech in his mind, asking who he was talking to, and a sudden image of the sea.
Speaking... no-one... sea? He coughed, his entire body shaking.</font>

14. <font color='#810541'><span style='color:sea blue'>"Speaking... no-one... sea?"</span>

Tears of relief ran down Storm face. Tajar was still in his own dingey machina filled world. Avius was still out of it as well, but she had gotten through to the third party member! The black male had finally heard her and to top things off had replied! It was the best thing that she could remember happening in a long long time. Even if he was still boardering on panic, her words had registered, at least to a point and that was all that counted.

<span style='color:navy'>"The sea is calming. Concentrate on it. Calm down. Calm... Now, what is wrong? Your hurt? Where?"</span>

The males body shook with a violent cough. The female stared, eyes wide, in shock. She didn't see any blood which was good, but if the hacking cough was any indication, things wern't going to be getting better any time soon.</font>

15. <font color='#8D38C9'>"It huurrtsss. everywhere..." Akoran coughed again, this time with such a force he folded up and keeled over. He stared up at the black female with despair in his eyes. "It hurtssss... ssso much..."</font>

16. <font color='#810541'>The black 'dragons eyes would be something that haunted Storm's nightmares for years to come. The total loss in them was shocking. The worst bit was that there was next to nothing she could do.

The midnight blue femme wasn't a healer. She didn't know anything about first aid other than perhapes the barest of skills. She took a deep breath, her decision made. Wether it was the correct one or not she would have to wait and see.

<span style='color:navy'>"I know of a few plants that might be able to ease your pain... at least dull it enough that hopefully we can find someone who has some healing ability."</span>

She glanced around at the landscape. There was very little plant life growing the the rocky soil and she doubted her meager plant knowledge would recognise any of the plants she needed. For all she knew they could be sitting beside a plant that would heal the dmage and she wouldn't know it. This, of course, she wasn't about to admit to the injured male.

<span style='color:navy'>"The problem is it may take me awhile to find the plants. Your going to have to stay here for a bit and since we dont know the extent of your injuries you cant move and do not fall asleep! Thats the best idea I have right now. Will you be okay for an hour or so?"</span></font>

17. <font color='#8D38C9'>The scared misery with which the dark female glanced about made dread rise in Akoran's heart as though he'd been stabbed. 'Don't fall asleep...' Suddenly he became aware of how easy it would be to lay back and close his eyes, allow blissful, warm darkness to envelope him and wash around his sore, scratched body.
No! Do not sleep. Do not give in.
"Will you be okay for an hour or so?"
"I... try..." Go to sleeeep... </font>

18. <font color='#CC0033'>OOC: Sorry I havn't been on guys! I feel so bad...

IC: Tajar looked around him, and suddenly, the world blurred, and he found himself back in the Vortex. Suddenly, with a howl, he found himself in the real world again. He jumped up, wincing slightly, but otherwise feeling much stronger. We limped over to Storm's side, and looked at the black 'dragon. "How is he..."</font>

19. <font color='#810541'>OOC: Dont worry about it! I was out of it for awhile too. All that matters now is that your back. Yay!

IC: Storm almost fainted in relief when she heard Tajar's voice beside her.

<span style='color:navy'>"Tajar! Oh thank god your with us again!"</span> Her voice dropped in volume to almost a whisper. "He's not doing so well physically, but mentally is much better. He's still out of it a bit, but is, at least, coherent and speaking." She let her voice rise again to a normal level. <span style='color:navy'>"You said earlier that you had some experience healing. Can you heal him or are the injuries too bad? Either way I'd rather not stay here. That storm came up far to quickly. I think the surrounding mountains make this area a storm creator..."</span>

She turned back to the other male, speaking to both him and Tajar. <span style='color:navy'>"I'm going to look for those plants and scout for a hiding spot. I'm definitely the best off of us all..."</span> The latter comment was said with not just a small amount of guilt.</font>

20. <font color='#CC0033'>"I'll try, I'll try." Tajar walked over the the black 'dragon, and knelt by his side."I'm going to try to heal you, it may feel strange, but try to keep still."

He calmed himself, and let the power build in his paws. The began to glow a gold colour, and this grew to be a hlo of light around Tajar's paws. The light flowed down from his paws, and onto the 'dragon's body. "What's you name, anyway?"</font>
