Adun walked over and hugged her. "I'm sorry I brought it up." He said, wrapping his wings around her.
She looked up at him and smiled "Its nothing I'm fine!" She pretended nothing happened. Rauj looked sorely at both of them she too missed her parents but crying was weak she said nothing.
"Good." He said, giving her a peck on the cheek. "Come on, I don't want to be a frozen 'dragon, lets find some shelter."
"Alkia you alright? You don't look so well." He said, catching up with her and putting his hand on her shoulder.
She looked at him behind dull gray eyes " What are you talking about I feel fine." She said moving away. Rauj looked over her shoulder "You don't look fine, would you like a fide on my back?"
"I'm fine, I'm just worried about her." He said, pointing to alkia. "How did you find us anyways? Kiddbu was killed in the swamps, so how could he have known where to find us? How many other 'dragons were there when he said he would pay 500 gold to the person who killed me?" He asked, walking beside her.
Rauj grinned " This Kiddbu guy is a master of the dark arts, thats how he found you. Plus all the assassins in the black markets know about you." She said forcing Alkia to climb onto her back. "And all this talk of him being dead well, that I can't explain."
"Another day, another insane wacko who wants to kill me, and if this follows the usual path, we will be attacked by the insane wacko when he finds out the assassin didn't do her job." He said, still walking along. "Didn't you recognize alkia when he showed you the picture? One more thing, what is wrong with me proposing to alkia?" He asked, in rapid sucession.
She was getting very annoyed by all his questions and started to growl. Looking back at him she sighed "Its not that anything wrong with you marrying Alkia its just... Shes like a sister to me and its my nature to feel no one is good enough for her." She looked to Alkia who had fallen asleep.
"Sorry if I'm annoying you, but I have to know about this. I need to know when and where kiddbu will attack, because I don't want her hurt. I have used some of my soul for her, and I would use it all if I was given the choice between saving her and myself. I'm a master of the soul. I can use it to heal or hurt." He said, looking at alkia. "I understand how you feel. I feel that she's too good for me sometimes, like I don't deserve such a wonderful mate."
She looked to the clouded sky she couldn't see the postion of the sun which worried her. Scaning the tundra ahead she saw a small cave "I see something over there." she said to Adun.
"Good, because I think a freak blizzard is coming on." He said, noticing the clouds. "We better hurry." He said, walking faster.
Her enormous bluk moved towards the cave careful not to drop the sleeping Alkia. Looking back at Adun she grinned "So, tell me about yourself where are you from?"
"I'm from bihm, and I'm 17, same age as alkia." He said, answering in a polite tone. "My parents are dead, but unlike most, I will never see them again. The rapine got them, on earth. I was 6 when they left. Its been 11 years, and now that i think about it, today is that same day they left." He said, staring ahead. "I grew up alone, no friends or family. I was sick of bhim, so i went into the wilderness, and lived there for 10 years. Training, thinking, learning, everything i could do in order to make myself stronger. Then I met alkia in the gyuakatsu swamps, kiddbu had given her a deep gash in her arm, and she had fainted. I took her back to my camp, and she gace me the attitude i usually give people. [I don't need any help, I'm fine.] Then kiddbu came. We fought, and i was busted up badly. He had her pinned, and just before he was about to do something, I stabbed him with the tanastlasei strike. He crumbled into dust." He said, entering the cave. "I'll tell you more later, but right now I think she needs to be warmed up."
At first she said nothing trying to take in all that she heard. Letting Alkia slide onto the floor she gathered sticks from inside the cave. Grabing Adun by the tail she lit the sticks on fire. She sighed and slid to the floor letting her fur warm up.
Adun walked over to alkia and gathered her up in his arms. {She's so beautiful when she's sleeping.} He thought, looking at the other 'dragon in his arms.
OOC: Last post for the day. Rauj looked to them and then back outside it was grtting dark she needed to leave now or risk Adun and Alkia safety. getting up she ran for the mouth of the cave. But to late the moon was taking it course she was begining to change...
"Rauj, are you okay?" He asked, looking up from alkia. {Alkia, is there some reason that rauj would have to get up if the moon was full?} He thought to her, nuzzling her neck.
OOC:Ok, this is really the last post. Alkia awoke slowly to the site of Rauj shifting. She sat bolt up "Oh, no not tonight." Pain shot through her body as she crupled into a ball. Long claws and fangs juted from her gums and fingers a roar exploded from her mouth. {No, no not tonight please!} She thought rolling aropund in pain.
