She trailed the bike, noticing it had stopped a few moments. She saw movement drop into the waters. She regonized the shadowy form. She shook her head and watched as the bike roared to the fallen form. She needed breath now. She took her chances and emerged out of the waters, gasping for air. She jerked her gaze towards Dom and then the fallen Khuyt. She smirked and swam over to Dom and looked to him before slightly getting on the bike.
Dom looked back at her and nodded solemnly. He looked ahead again just in time to see Khuyt leap at the bike and rip the two off it. He mounted the bike again, and spun it around, but istead of charging it into them, he drove off in a spray of water. You just wait Gunslinger! I'll get you yet! He shouted back as he dissappeared into the soggy jungle... Dom got up, and after shaking himself, held out a hand to Rogue. Thanks kid, I really did need your help back there, makes me realise how old I really am... Ha Ha, Grandfather... He left his hand extended, smiling down at her thankfully.
She tilted her head, watching Dom for a few moments, before watching Khuyt leap up. She had no idea what went after that. Except she was thrown back into the waters. She surfaced back up and coughed slightly. She watched Khuyt speed off. She chuckled slightly. "Looks like he doesn't always stay for the finish." She tilted her head as Dom extended his hand towards her. She chuckled and grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. She shrugged slightly and slunked to her haunches. "I've never...been apart of a family before.." She replied as she kept her gaze down at the waters.
Dom chuckled and patted her on the shoulder. Well Rogue, I never had much of a family life either, how bout I adopt you as my grandaughter, ha ha ha... His sentence seemed to be a joke through the way he said it, but his offer was quite real. He was ready to finally start living after so many years where he hadn't been at all...
She titled her head as he patted her on her shoulders. Her eyes widen at his offer. She smiled slightly and rolled her shoulders into a shrug. "You think you are ready to have me as a grandaughter Dom?" She teased, chuckling slightly.
Well, if this is the worst you can do... He said, grinning widely, spreading his arms to the soaked, torn up jungle from The Rider's attacks and debris his bike had kicked up... Then I'm glad to have you as a family member...
She chuckled and shook her head slightly. She half-glanced to him and smirked. "I agree." She replied as she looked out towards the jungle. "What now?"
Dom continued grinning. I guess we find our way out of this wet hellhole, and avoid anything that might be living in the deeps... He scratched his chin, and looked around, as if trying to think of something...
She chuckled and shook her head as she stood up. "That be easy." She winked and leaped into the waters and surfaced up. She smirked and watched him silently and then looked away. "Come on."
Dom smiled. One minute I'm trying to kill you, the next you save my life and become my Grandaughter, strange how things happen hm? He jumped in the water. You know, finally I can call you 'kid' and you can't stop me... Ha Ha Ha...
She chuckled at him and shook her head once more. She smirked. "Don't be silly." She teased as she dove under water and swam a few moments before surfacing back up. "How long can you hold your breath?"
Dom pondered for a moment. I've done some training, but I'm not very aquatic, I'm amazed I've survived this ordeal... I guess my answer is about three minutes? He made sure his hat was firmly on his head, and stretched his neck a bit. What do you have in mind?
She nodded slowly. "I can breathe underwater for a very long time. Not sure exactly how long it is, never really timed myself. We can go under water, its faster. If you run out of breath, tell me." She said before diving underwater once more and waiting slightly.
He shrugged and dived under, taking off his hat and sticking it in the trenchcoat before he did so as to prevent it fluttering away as he swam. He kept close to Rogue, thinking to himself over and over again; "How am I gonna keep this girl in line?..."
She noticed him swimming up beside him. She smiled and kept her eyes forward. She kept insight to any form that should roam underneath. She shook her head. As I said my eyes are accustom to the dark, including underwater. If I see anything I'll tell you/ She replied as she swam at a steady pace.
Dom continued to ponder ways of being a good grandfather. He didn't know how he should go about it, going straight from childhood and teenhood into adulthood in what seemed the blink of an eye. His own grandparents had died years ago, and he had not seen them since he was around 40 himself anyways. He continued to swim on, thinking, before he was brought to the fact that he was almost out of breath. He went up for air, and then, not being able to see for some reason, dived back down, and realised he had lost Rogue, maybe the first person he cared about. He damned himself and searched around frantically...
She had got to thinking to herself aswell. She had wondered what it was like to be apart of a family. A family that cared about you. She had a few friends. Serin and Jahhar. She had not seen them in awhile though. She wondered how they were doing. S he tilted her head lsightly, realizing Dom had surfaced. She blinked and turned around as she watched him search around frantically. She shook her head and swam up to him and touched his side. I told you to tell me when you surface.
He smiled, a few tiny air bubbles slowly drifting up to the surface. He didn't bother to talk, but nodded, and continued to stick close to Rogue, oh he really hated water...
She chuckled and shook her head. She swam beside him. She had no idea how long they had been swimming. She tilted her head, realizing something was out of place. She looked to Dom and nudged him slightly as she surfaced. She tilted her head at the sighting. It seemed different.
Out of Character

Errrr... Do you want me to do something with it?

Dom surfaced, and listened. There were no animal noises, no splashes of creatures getting in or out of the water, nothing. Everything was dead quiet except for the lap of the water against the banks of the small islands formed by small raised patches of jungle. He glanced downwards to the sunken tops of trees proturing metres from his feet as he treaded water, and wondered what could have caused this errie silence that had the animals spooked. He drew a gun underwater and after spinning the chambers and loading a full 7 set of tranquilizer rounds, the waterproof gun was ready for whatever came after him... He swam over to the shore and sat on the bank, silently waving Rogue over with the barrel of his gun...
