The room around them shone brightly with the morning sun, dancing upon their glistening bodies as they both lay there exhausted. Never had she felt so happy – in only a few weeks he had changed her life. Nykjek gave a little smile, before she fell asleep in the haven of his arms. And the last she remembered was a small kiss before the darkness took over her.

He couldn't ever express how he felt about her, no matter what he did. <span style='color:gray'>Well, I got close last night</span> He whispered to himself, resting his head and nuzzling her neck, inhaling her scent.
Nykjek began to wake, feeling someone nuzzle in to her. she gave a groggy smile, before opening her eyes, still blurred with sleep. <span style='color:red'>"hey..." </span> She whispered huskily, her voice still thick with exhaustion, her maw snuggling into him. <span style='color:red'>"do we need to get up now?"</span> This time while she began to waken slightly she wrapped an arm around his torso, bringing herself closer. She was still warm despite that they weren't under the covers, Safe and warm. She even couldn't remember how long that they had been together, but she didn't care. She loved him, and she hoped she would be with him for the years to come.
<span style='color:gray'>No, we can just lay here.</span> Shiden said, pulling his head away and smiling at her, then giving her a gentle kiss, holding her. He didn't want to get up, but just to lay here with her and forget everything, to relax. He closed his eyes as he slipped his touge into her mouth, playing around with her tounge and feeling his muscles relax.
<span style='color:red'>"good"</span> Nykjek sighed, it had been a while since she had been able to just lie in bed and for once not worry about anything. Plus even still she felt thta same feeling that she got when they first kissed. And as if to prove this she lay there with Shiden, in a loving kiss, fireworks going off in her heart.
Shiden thought of what it would be like from now on. He had to keep this secret, less any of his rivals found out he had a soft spot. He broke the kiss sitting up on the bed and facing away from nykjek. He didn't want her hurt, and the longer she stayed, the more chance. Revol would kill him for this, or more likely, her. <span style='color:gray'>Nykjek, how much do you love me?</span> He inquired, he had to know if she would be alright with this.
Nykjek wore a puzzled look as she noticed some sort of turmoil going on in his mind. She didn't even need to think on what to say... <span style='color:red'>"i'd die for you... that's how much" </span> Her face was serious, she meant what she said. <span style='color:purple'>{i would }</span> She clarified in her mind. But then a question rose in her mind... why on earth was this question popping up suddenly. <span style='color:red'>"why...?" </span> Her voice said cautiously. Trying to understand, why... what was going to happen? What was wrong?
"Because I don't want you hurt." He said, embracing her and kissing her forehead. "People will try to hurt you, and I may not be there to help you." He whispered, holding her tighter and looking into her eyes, showing her what he felt.

He was hiding it, very well.
"I'm in a criminal orginization, and the leader has been a little, psychotic." He said, knowing it was better to tell her the truth. "I left for a little bit after a vision, and i didn't tell him." He said, noting her face. "I gotta go back, and you are gonna have to come. He might want to hurt you, thats why I needed to know." He said, kissing her passionately, one of his hand messing with hair and the other and the other pressing the small of her back.
Nykjek swallowed. <span style='color:red'>"w-when do we go to meet him?"</span> She said her voice small. She had heard of this Revol before. she remembered word of the battle in this place. For now she would take comfort in him. "what s the worst that he'll do?" She paused. <span style='color:red'> "why will he be bothered by me?"</span> It was all she could think of right now... for once she had a feeling of dread. <span style='color:purple'>{Would she die?}</span>
<span style='color:gray'>Soon, the longer we wait, the more chance he won't like this. The worst he can do is kill me.</span> He said, meaning it. The instant he tries anything on you, he dies, I don't care is he is the leader. He's gonna be bothered because you could be used as a hostage against me, thereby undermining my loyalty to him. You won't die, not while I still breathe."
A tiny smile played on her face with his noble words. But... the moment he rose against Revol, all hopes of a normal life would end. <span style='color:red'>"But surely he'll realise the perks... i mean, if anyone did anything to you, i'd be after them. and i wouldn't leave a trace left of them..."</span> Although she said this solemnly, if Revol even thought about trying to hurt Shiden, he would regret it. Or she would try and make him regret it at least. <span style='color:red'>"But if Revol does try and do something to me, don't rescue me... If anything it proves where your loyalty lies."</span> Looks like things weren't as perfect as she had first thought. But, her heart still loved him as much it had before. <span style='color:red'>Shiden, i love you... but, i want to prove my worth to revol by my own accord. And you can't help me do so... i'm sorry"</span> With that she stayed in his arms, seekinbg the comfort she always recieved with him. her hand playing with his fur. Tears in her eyes.
"I understand, but I need to ask you something else before we go." He said, wiping away her tears. "Will you be my mate?" He asked, smiling at her, embracing her with his arms and wings.
Even in this grim situation, a small smile played upon her face. Never had she thought that anyone would ask such a question. <span style='color:red'>Yes... </span> She said, her eyes sparkling. Her voice choking with joy. as she pressed herself into him. <span style='color:red'>i will...</span>
Shiden kissed her, slipping his tounge into her mouth with tears of joy falling from his eyes. His hands went to her back and head, pushing her closer, but holding her as if she was the most fragile thing in ramath. their bodies pressed together and fit perfectly, like to pieces of a puzzle.
