Salme felt the small breeze blow past her and she shivered involuntarily. Nothing seemed to be going right, all that could be worse is if it was raining. She rolled her eyes at herself. Maybe it was raining and the tree cover just locked them from it. She looked up, but imediately regretted it. She thought she had seen something as she looked up and she decided it was best to keep her eyes on the ground. At least that way she would be able to see something when it came. Salme almost let out a small weak giggle at Linnet's comment. It was stifled by the gravity of the situation. She nodded in agreement. "You are right, but we have to find out which is the right way." She said weakly and hopelessly. They had, up until now, followed suposedly their own tracks, and guessed in the direction they should travel. Right now a guess seemed as good as anything. Salme felt like collapsing, this was all too stressfull and hard. Suddenly her ears pricked up. She looked over at Linnet. Her face almost extatic with joy. "No...no, wait I hear it too!!!" She started to walked cautiously in the direction of the sounds. She was a bit sceptical, this whole day had been one biig nightmare how could she know it would end? She did not want to pass up this opportunity though so she walked closer nad paused waiting for Linnet to follow. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Hm, maybe some ramaithian forest creature, like a version of a dear was following them for some reason. But either was is fine.</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I’m so sorry for the wait Pirate, I have no good reason on why this took me so long.</td></tr></table> Linnet slowly padded along beside Salme, almost afraid that if they move to quickly they would just end up as lost as before. But Salme seemed to have found the direction the sound was coming from because as they walked the sounds got louder. Linnet didn’t want to get too much ahead of herself but she couldn’t help but hope that they had finally found the way out. They parted through what felt like the thousand fall of trees that day and stepped into the fading light of the evening. Linnet made a drastic display of collapsing to the ground and let out a huge sigh of relief. <span style='color:orange'>“Oh , it felt like we were never going to get out of that place."</span> She then quickly made a scan of the grounds to make sure that they had come out at the right spot. She soon recognized the side of the school, and not far off the end too the path they had started on. It was definitely Janardan, they had made it. As soon as she was about to get back up on her feet she heard a movement in the bushes directly behind them. She was so surprised she let out a shrill scream and spun around to see the thought to have been attacker. Standing in the shadows of the foliage was a small brown creature with hooves and a short snout. Though Linnet had never seen the creature before she had read about them and recognized it as an inth. Her screaming slowly came to a halt.
Salme started to walk faster as the trees parted. They were finaly out or that mess! She hit the open air and let out a cry of releif. "We made it we made it!" She cried, swirling around and around under the light of the sun. She was glad to be out of that nightmare. She turned to rejoice with Linnet but as she did she heard her scream. Salme herself almost let out a cry but saw the beast emerge before she did. She also reconized it as an inth. She froze a moment in fear of the creature. As she recovered she let out a weak laugh that grew stronger. It shook her entire body and she colapsed to the ground with laughter. They had been chased through that forest by a harmless animal. She looked over at Linnet and her laughter slowly subsided. "My that was some adventure." She said with a chuckle.
Linnet scream came to a halt and she too began to giggle. So this was the creature that was causing them such a scare. It seemed so strange how being put in a different situation could make you feel so jumpy and afraid of the smallest thing. She shook her head at herself, which made the sticks and twigs in her hair sway from side to side. She raised her paw to try and remove of few but was un-successful. <span style='color:orange'>“Yeah, well I think I’m going to take a brake from adventures for a while."</span> She spoke with a grin. Even though the experience had been scary, it a strange way looking back on it now it was fun, in an adventurous sort of way. She looked over at Salme. <span style='color:orange'>“I guess we should be getting back. I could really do with a shower ‘bout now."</span> She looked herself over noticing it wasn’t just her hair that now had pieces of woods sticking out here and there and mud covering her paws.
