Averin blushed even more. “When… When we were young… we… we liked each other…" Averin swallowed hard. “I thought those feelings were gone, when you disappeared when I first rescued you in Chrysalis Cannon… but… those feelings came back when… when we met at Magi Lake…" Averin swallowed hard again. “My… my emotions are fluttering when I’m around. I guess what I’m saying is that I like you." Averin blushed deeper than before.
Alamu blushed too, looking down. "I...I had a feeling...when I remembered you." She looked up at him for a moment. "I...I like you too, Averin." She smiled.
Averin blushed a deep red; he looked up at Alamu and smiled. “I have something more to tell you…" Averin look down, but had the smile on his face. “I thought… I was the last of my family, but I was wrong…" Averin gazed off towards Alamu. “Alamu, I have an aunt in Watani…"
Averin started to tear up, but he had a smile on his face. This is the first time I had ever been completely happy after the event in Chrysalis Cannon. He leaned his head on to AlamuÂ’s head.
Averin looked up at the time. Five minutes till class then to the dorm… Should… Averin puzzled on the question that was in his mind and other things. “Alamu… It’s almost time to have class and I was wondering…" Averin stared deeply in his thought then snapped out of it. “Would you like to come over to my dorm after class, if you don’t mind I mean?"
Alamu turned, thinking for a moment befoe she smiled at Averin. "Sure. I should get going; the Professor gets mad when we're late." Alamu smiled and got up, waving as she picked up her bag, running toward the building. "Meet you here after class!" She called.
Averin smiled at Alamu. “True…" Averin went and grabbed his things. He followed Alamu towards the building. A couple of hours past while he was in class, now he’s in the spot where Alamu and he were to meet. I wonder what’s taking her. Averin sat down with his eyes closed.
Alamu walked across campus, feeling embarrassed; she was lost. Hmm... She caught sight of Averin across the courtyard and ran, ducking through the tangled mob of people between them. Noticing his eyes were closed, she skidded to a stop a few feet away rather than tackling him as she had meant to do. "Sorry I'm late, I...um...got lost." She admitted, blushing.
Averin’s eyes opened and saw Alamu in front of him. “It’s no problem; anyways, ready to go?" Averin got up. “Or are you going to make this area into a memory?" He smiled at Alamu.
She smiled. "No, I'm ready to go." She moved a little closer, hoping he didn't notice. "Lead the way." She smiled again, watching him.
