Pendzez nodded in agreement. "Yes it looks like it." He looked down then back to Jynx. Then he felt that a drop of water fell on him. He looked up. The clouds were over head. It started to pour. "Mabye we should get under cover."
Jynx spread her wings over them, blocking the rain. "<span style='color:blue'>There.</span>" She laughed, looking over at him. "<span style='color:blue'>Wings come in handy sometimes, don't you think?</span>" She asked as everyone else in the courtyard ran for cover.
"Yeah." He smiled at her. "My wings have a larger wing span than yours." He spread his over himself and her for cover. "But I still think we need to get under cover."
Jynx carefully folded her wings, shifting closer to him. She peaked out to look at the sky and got hit on the nose with a large drop. She laughed, a soft, tinkling sound. "<span style='color:blue'>Ok. Lead the way.</span>" She slung her bag across her back, again looking curiously at the sky. "<span style='color:blue'>I love the rain. It's so much better than sandstorms.</span>" She said as she got hit again, this time with the drops soaking her fur. She turned back to smile at Pendzez, her gray eyes bright. "<span style='color:blue'>Coming?</span>" She asked cheerfully, her tail swishing back and forth gently.
Pendzez smiled back at her and stood up, covering both her and himself with his wings. "I like the rain too, but it's not good for my tail flame." He wrapped his right arm around the back of Jynx's neck and lead her to cover. They continued to undercover, with little rain soaking them. "Oh, it's a bit cool."
Jynx looked behind him, noting the flickering tail flame. "<span style='color:blue'>Yeah. I forget males have to think about tail flames.</span>" She smiled, cuddling closer. She wrapped her left arm around his waist, turning her face into his side. <span style='color:blue'>He smells even better in the rain</span>, she thought absently. Her ears perked up at the sound of his voice. "<span style='color:blue'>Only a little. You're nice and warm.</span>" She gave him a tired smile.
"Yeah, I can be furry." He laughed. He turned to see the smile she was giving him. "You know, out of all the girls I kissed, your the first."
Jynx smiled, leaning farther into him. "<span style='color:blue'>You're the first boy I've ever kissed.</span>" She said softly, tightening her grip.
With Jynx close to him, they continued for undercover. "Well, lets say those are the things we have in common. Except the boy bit." He carefully wrapped his tail around hers with his tail flame above the tip of her tail so it doesn't burn her tail.
Jynx laughed, winding her tail with his. "<span style='color:blue'>You know, I think we're the only ones smart enough to use our wings to block the rain.</span>" She mused, watching yet another 'dragon race for cover, wings flailing behind him.
He could feel her tail winding around his. He smiled to Jynx, "Yeah well, I guess we're smarter to use wings for rain cover." He look to the path, watching where he was going. They got to cover and folded his wings back, shaking the rain water off.
She sat down with her back to the wall, watching Pendzez shake the water from his wings. She pulled one leg up so that her knee was against her chest, the other one stretched out in front of her. She kept her eyes on him, mostly hidden in the shadow of the wall.
"Arr, much better." He stopped shaking the water of his wings and turned to Jynx, watching her sitting down. He sat beside her, "That was fun." He giggled a bit. I wonder, does she really love or is she just acting along.
Jynx giggled, leaning her head on his chest when he sat beside her. Her eyes closed for a moment before she forced them open again. She sighed, burrying her face in his chest as she closed her eyes again.
I'll take that as a yes. She does. He looked down at her head, burrowing into his chest. He saw her shivering. "Are you cold?"
"<span style='color:blue'>Only a little. More tired, really.</span>" She answered, curling up beside him. She felt herself drifting off. "<span style='color:blue'>Love you, Pendzez.</span>" She murmured as she fell asleep.
He wrapped his right arm around her head. he replied back in a very soft voice, "Love you too, Jynx." He then sat there with her, waiting for her to wake up. If my parents were alive, they would be happy that a found a girl.
She wrapped her arms around him in her sleep, snuggling up to his warmth. She murmured softly, barely loud enough to be heard. "<span style='color:blue'>Mine.</span>" She slept peacefully for a few hours, unwilling to wake up.
Pendzez woke her by rubbing her back lightly. "Dreaming were you?" He let his arm around her back. "Was it about me?"
Jynx opened one eye and looked up before blushing, burrying her face in his fur. "<span style='color:blue'>Maybe.</span>" She mumbled, smiling as she peeked up again. "<span style='color:blue'>I didn't say anything embarrassing, did I?</span>" She asked sheepishly.
