Seeing the dagger in Jynx's hand, Flayra was in shock and couldn't think of anything to say. "Umm... arrr... nothing I'll just umm... go and see what my umm.... brother's doing." She slowly stood up and slowly walked away to the room Pendzez went to.
Jynx watched her go, confused. She looked down at the weapon in her hands, still sharpening it out of habit. <span style='color:blue'>Oops.</span>
Flayra slowly walked into Pendzez's room and ran to him. "Pendzez she has a dagger." She was in fear, saying those words. ~ Pendzez took a small bag of Gems that he found on his hunts. He turned to Flayra and said, "Now Flayra, there's nothing to be afraid of. She isn't a rogue." He walked past Flayra and walked out of the room. He to the couch and sat down. "Flayra thought you were a rogue with the dagger and all." He held the bag of Gems tightly.
She smiled apologetically. "Sorry, it's just habit. Whenever I get home or when I'm uncomfortable I start sharpening daggers.[COLOR]" She explained, slipping the weapon back into her bag.
Pendzez shifted his eyes to the left then back to Jynx. "Ok." He lifted the bag of gems he collected from his hunts. He slowoly opened the bag to show her.
"Oh, wow." Jynx studied the sparkling gems, wide-eyed. She glanced the same way Pendzez did, curious.
Pendzez reached into the bag and pulled out one of the gems. "Now this here, I found in the Machina Ruins. It's a 'Red Stone'. Some say that its is just a small accident when Alchemists tried to make another stone of great power." He handed the Gem to Jynx so she can examine it.
Jynx took the gem, turning it over as she studied it with a practiced eye. "This is beautiful." She turned it over in her paws, careful not to scratch it with her claws.
"Yes, it's actually a good story." He took the Stone from Jynx. "But that's a story that will have to wait." He placed it on the table the pulled out a another. "And this is a Acrysatlis. A Gem from the Trilok Snow Fields.
"Had help getting this one from a Khellin, Axis Wiles." He looked at Jynx with eyes like emeralds. "He's kind, sort of." He placed the Gem in Jynx's left hand.
"Sort of?" She asked,not really paying attention to the gems any more. She kept stealing glances at Pendzez's face, studying everything about it.
Study Jynx's face, Pendzez saw curiousity. "Well, he's two Khellins in one. The other is Genesis." He looked back at the Gems. "Genesis is more fearful, but he's not all that bad."
"Kind of, but Genesis is 17 and Axis is 15 and Genesis has a different appearance and has different abilities." He explained it in a soft voice.
Jynx tilted her head again, studying him. "That's confusing. So it's two different people in the same body?"
He look at Jynx, "Yes well, Genesis was the test and Axis was the subject for the test. Therefore, making Axis and Genesis share the body. Axis told me that himself."
"Yes, alot of sense." He looked at Jynx like he was going to kiss her again, but he didn't. He looked at the bag and pulled out a Gem that looked like a thorn. "This one is a Diamond Thorn, an ancient treasure of the Adamaint Empire or, as they say it, the Thorn of Pure Love."
Jynx studied the Diamond Thorn, but didn't take it. "Isn't that the gem used in in the Adamaint Empire's marriage ceremonies?" she realized, looking up at Pendzez and blushing a little.
