He looked to her and smiled, "Well, when I go Treasure Hunting in the Tmu Desert, I'll have somewhere to go when a sandstorm comes around."
"<span style='color:blue'>Yeah.</span>" Jynx smiled and then thought of something. "<span style='color:blue'>Oh!</span>" She jumped up, grabbing her backpack and started rummaging through it, placing various items on the ground beside her as she searched.
"<span style='color:blue'>Hang on. I know it's in here somewhere...</span>" She frowned as she searched, trying to find the case. She tossed a long, slender box wrapped in cloth over her shoulder without realizing it, turning the bag inside out.
Jynx glanced back at him and grinned before she tackled him, landing in a tangled heap where they'd been sitting. "<span style='color:blue'>That's it! Thanks</span>." Sh carefully untangled herself, unwrapping the cloth. When she opened the case, it revealed five gems with strange symbols on them sitting in a row, all attached to a thin silver chain. She turned toward him, holding the box out. "<span style='color:blue'>Pick one.</span>"
"Umm... well there are 5 gems with symbols. Fire, Water, Ice, Electric, and Gravity. So I choose Fire." He reached in in and took the Gem with the Fire Symbol.
Jynx smiled at him. "<span style='color:blue'>You have to be wearing that if you want to be able to find the cave. It will also protect you on your way there. And since you chose Fire, it'll be even stronger since it'll draw on your fire powers to create the customary shield.</span>" She explained, grinning.
"Ok." He put the gem with his Sol Pendent that was on the table. He placed the gem carefully next to the Pendent, not knowing the gem and the Pendent was made with the same magic. "What are you going to do with the other ones?"
"<span style='color:blue'>I have more than one because I was hoping to make more than one friend. I'll just keep them until later.</span>" Jynx replied, re-wrapping the case and sliding it into her backpack.
Pendzez nodded. "Well I'm sure you'll make more friends." He comforted her with talk. "And besides, how hard can it be."
"<span style='color:blue'>Not that hard, if you aren't on a time limit</span>." Jynx laughed, smiling as she sat in front of him.
Jynx laughed. "<span style='color:blue'>No, I put myself on a time limit. He went away for a while, and he would be back in a couple weeks. I didn't want him to wory, so I wanted to be back about a week before he came home.</span>" She explained.
"Oh Well, umm... That's umm... cool." He tried to think of what to say. Putting herself on a time limit? Woo, Pendzez thought. "So umm... Would you like a drink or something."
"<span style='color:blue'>No, I'm fine. Thank you.</span>" She noticed his discomfort and smiled brightly. "<span style='color:blue'>Don't let me bother you. Go ahead and do whatever you usually do when you come home.</span>"
"Well, I try to make objects from the stones and gems I collect from my treasure hunting job." He stood up and walked past the table that the Fire Gem and his Sol Crest was on. ~ Flayra walked out of her room and saw Pendzez walked by her. He went to the couch Jynx was on and sat beside her. "So, where did you find my brother?"
Jynx watched Pendzez until Flayra came and sat beside her. "<span style='color:blue'>I met him down in the courtyard.</span>" She answered, pulling the case out again. "<span style='color:blue'>Here. You should have one of these, too.</span>" She smiled.
Seeing four gems in a row, Flayra was amazed by there sparkle. "Hmm, I'll pick the Ice Gem." She reached in and pulled out the Ice Gem out of the case.
Jynx put the case away, smiling at Flayra. "<span style='color:blue'>So what's up?</span>" She asked, pulling out her dagger and a wetstone. She began sharpening the weapon quietly, listening to the soft sounds in the dorm.
