He stood up and started to pack the tent he was under, he wantedc to cross the desert before the day ended.
She stood up, and looks over at him. She says,"Listen Gavin, I am sorry. I haven't meant to seem rude and a pest. At times, I do seem to be both. It appears that you are ready to leave soon. May I walk with you, if I promise to be quiet? Or shall I just leave." She waits for a response.
He packed his tent, "<span style='color:green'>You can come with me if you want, I'm going to try and cross the desert</span>" he looks at the sand "<span style='color:green'>You may have acted rude, but for both of us, I think it was the sun</span>" he didn't want her to feel guilty.
She gives a hopeful smile. She says,"Ok, thank you." She stands up, and looks around. She says,"Can I help with anything?" She thinks to herself, <span style='color:gray'>Well, at least I wasn't told just to go away. Then I would have been stuck wandering around here alone, having no clue which way to go.</span>
"<span style='color:green'>Hmmm</span>" he looked at his stuff, everything was packed "<span style='color:green'>Nope, we just need to get going, and I don't mind if you talk, you don't have to be silent</span>"
She looks around, and says,"Alright. Well, since I don't know which direction to go I am just going to follow you." She listens, and hears nothing around them. She smiles at him.
he ponders for a moment and looks at a compass "<span style='color:green'>West, thats the way i was heading</span>" he said pointing
She looks in the direction, he pointed. She smiles, and starts walking in the direction he pointed. She says,"So, how old are you, if you don't mind me asking? I am 20."
She looks over at him, with a look of awe. She says,"That is cool. I haven't done much traveling. I just tend to wander around, at this point of time. And hope I will find others to talk with."
He smiled "<span style='color:green'>Thats good, me I've been alone alot.....</span>" his voice trailed off
She looks over at him, with a look of curiosity but, doesn't push the subject. If she were meant to know, he would have told her. She says,"Oh I see...."
He pulled his coat closer to him, like it was cold. It just seemed strange that he felt somewhat... cold.
She notices him pull his coat, close around him. She asks, in a quiet voice,"Can I help in any way?" She looks over, at him, watching him quietly.
"<span style='color:green'>Yeah I should be fine, never knew this desert had a canyon</span>" he said
She says,"Oh ok. So, any idea how much further till the other side?" She looks down at the sand, watching the occasional bug, scatter here and there.
