  1. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman came back up on deck, blankets in his hands. He walked over to the others and drapped the blankets over them. He handed Ziarch his.

He walked over to the piratess. He shook his head slightly. "Still unconscious," he muttered to himself. He wrapped her in the last blanket and turned to the others. "Any body have any broken bones or open wounds?" He picked the piratess up. "If you do, follow me."

He headed back toward his cabin.</font>

  2. <font color='#000080'>ooc: bleh, short crappy post... sorry bout that...

ic:  Incendi nodded and made her way back towards the center of the ship.  Eyes glowed softly as the sea melted and returned to its original state.  She glanced around, eying the sky and directed a gust of wind to head them towards Bhim.  Incendi wasn't being helpful for the sake of the others, only so that she could get away from the water as fast as she could for a brief time at the least.</font>

  3. <font color='#000000'>((OOC: Short post, but plot-moving.))

Tyran could only smile as Ziarch thanked him for saving Taydran. "I felt that I had to." It was a rather indirect way of saying that he had a heroic impulse to rescue the younger, but slightly bigger, pendragon.

While he warmed in Incendi's magical flames, and the ship finally lurched forward until it was sailing towards Bhim, he was thinking. What would he do now that he'd become part of the crew, thanks to saving the nioti's life? Maybe he could keep watch for danger or something...

Oh, I can help you with that.

    "What the hell-- who spoke?!"

I did. This is in your mind, Tyran...

The pendragon blinked, obviously confused. Who was it? "What the hell was that voice? Who was it?" He sighed, shook his head, and looked towards the horizon. A determined look came to his face. They were going somewhere. Where was it? That was where the excitement and fear came from.

    "I look forward to it."</font>

  4. <font color='#348781'>Taydran help the remaining crew tie the scattered barrels back where they once were. With a large tug, the rope was tied securely and Taydran was off to his next project. Debris and other things lay strewn across the deck making it look very messy. Grabbing a broom, Taydran went about sweeping the deck. A cheery tune popped into his head and he began to hum it absentmindedly. A gust of wind made the sails billow and they were off to Bhim. Stopping, Taydran leaned on the broom and stared out to the horizon. Only a day into the journey and so many things had happened. His black fur ruffled in the speedy winds and Taydran went back to his work.</font>

  5. <font color='#810541'>OOC: We'll just pretend some time has passed so that Bhim isn't like a days sail from the East Coat Fishing Piers. I just want to get this thing moving again. We've been a bit stalled for the last little bit. If anyone has any problems with this just tell me and I'll change it. I know I kinda just gathered everything up and moved it along without consulting you guys so just yell at me if you dont like this, okay?
Oh, and once we actually arrive in Bhim does anyone know if we need to start a new thread over there or do we just stay in this one?

IC: Finally the ship was clean. It had taken nearly a week to get rid of all the debris. The main mast had been rolled over the edge of the ship, although not before every scrap of line and sail that was still usable was salvaged. The ship really hadn't been in that bad of shape. The biggest job, and the one that was only compleated that morning, was going through all the food stores. As it turned out, the 'Water Dragon' had taken on large amounts of water during the fight with LoneShadow. The salt water had spoiled most of their fresh water and nearly all of their food. Because of this the ship had been put on strict rations for both items.

Tempers were running high. Already 2 'dragons had been confined to their rooms for brawling. Boredom was becoming a major problem for the crew. There were only so many drinking games one could play... especially when one was rationed to a single bottle per 4 days.

Ziarch groaned as his own stomach protested skipping breakfast that morning. He tugged on his line. Not even a nibble. Fishing was one of the activities he supported. Not only did it provide something to do, but it also provided the ship with some much needed food; if the fisher was able to catch anything that is. His mind wandered to his crewmates.
Jarman had turned out to be as good a doctor as he said. He had patched everyone up incredibly well with the limited supplies the 'Water Dragon' could offer.
Taydran was taking the spot of first mate in all seriousness. Ziarch now knew that despite his age, Taydran was surprisingly mature. He had started cleaning the ship right after recovering from his near-death experiance.
Tyran... well he was a bit off an oddball. Ziarch would ocassionally see him mumbling to himself or would watch as numerous expressions crossed over his face, but despite all that Ziarch couldn't help but like the kid.
Incendi was the real puzzle. She had been a huge help since the Kracken, but at the same time remained indifferent or aloof. It was hard to pinpoint, but it was obvious she didn't like being on the ship.

Ziarch reeled in his line and walked to the bow of the ship. On the horizon was a smudge of darkness. It was land. Finally! The trip would have been much quicker if they hadn't lost a mast. Then again it would have been MUCH slower of not for Incendi's conjured northernly wind. A small smile appreared on Ziarch's face.

<span style='color:navy'>"Oie!"</span> He yelled to the crew members who were scattered across the deck. <span style='color:navy'>"Tell the others to gather up what they want to take with them. We'll be in Bhim by nightfall!"</span></font>

  6. <font color='#000080'>OOC: It's good with me. We must keep going forward. And sorry I havn't writen in a long time. Keyboard's been broken. x_x

    IC:
Over that week Linnet had spent time to help repair the ship as much as she could. She also spent time going over the maps that she had brought with her, making sure that they always stayed on course. But there was only so much she could do. Looking at the map a hundred times or more was going to make Brim any closer.

At this point in time Linnet was hit with a idea of how she could be of more help with her bit of magic. She walk along the deck till she found a bucket tied on to the end of a rope. She made sure the rope was strong enough and wouldn’t fall apart then threw it over board.

She watched it fall with her mismatched eyes until it hit the surface of the water with a splash. She waited it to fill to the surface with the seawater before bulling it up back on deck. It was times like this she noticed how much her paw had changed. They were now hard from work that she wasn’t used to but now found as a normal every day chore.

She reached over and pulled the bucket back on deck. She then held her paw over the water and started to concentrated on turning the water un-salted.  She started to separate the little particles in the water and waited till she had them all removed.

She looked down at her work and smiled. With them having to ration water what she really wanted was a drink. She put her head down and drank a mouthful of the great fresh water.
    <span style='color:orange'>“Ziarch! I think I might have found a solution to our water problem."</span>
It was then also that she heard him yell out that they would soon be at Brim. She smiled again. She was looking forward to Brim. Another of the many places she had never been. And also a place she had heard many stories about.

She picked up the pail the rest of the water that was in it and walked over to Ziarch side to get a better view of the black dot in the distance.</font>

  7. <font color='#000080'>Incendi was huddled in a haggard heap, face contorted in a mix of terror and insanity.  she had been staying up on deck at night after discovering that her cabin was leaking.  and it wasn't all that much drier on deck.  the frazzled assassin was of no help, bursting into brief flames everytime she was splashed.  but at least she wasn't burning anything.  occasionally a brave sailor gathered up the courage to ask for some help and she would float some things around and occasionally allow small fish to be cooked on top of her head.  it was almost sad really.  all the tetched assassin and sorcoress did all day was either sit or walk about and twitch, staring balefully at the watery menace below.  but it could be worse.  she could be soaking...

right as thr thought entered her mind a sailor threw a bucket of seawater on her.  she twitched and roared, her panic directing her t attack the cause of her fury instead of running away.  and that was how she found herself, after a week or so at sea, attacking a sailor.</font>

  8. <font color='#000000'>The reason for Tyran's mutterings or expression changes was because of the demon, which he had no clue about it's existance other than its voice in his head. Even then, he wasn't useless, as he had lent a helping paw when nessecary, and often kept an eye out for danger. Today, he was trying a fishing trick that voice had told him to attempt. Even if it doesn't work, you'll be noticed.

Flapping his leathery wings to keep him airborne, Tyran looked over the sea, eyes like a hawk's now that he was searching for a fish. Dang. They must have died in the ice. Shut up. When I tell you to, dive and grab for something. You might get it. A few moments, then...

    NOW!!!

Clapping his wings to his sides, the 'dragon pulled into a dive towards the waters, claws outstretched, ready to grab something, anything. He skimmed the surface, throwing up a trail of foam. After about half a minute, he winged his way up from the surface...

...having caught a fishing hook. Yay.

Disappointed, he landed on deck, and made his wings vanish with a wince. It was then that he heard Linnet's yell, and Ziarch's yell. The fox-sized pendragon's ears perked up instantly. Bhim. He had never been there. He wanted to see more of the world... to answer questions. Personal questions. With a brave intake of breath, he leapt onto the rigging, and began climbing up to the crow's nest. Once there, he looked over the seas with a spyglass that he'd gotten.

    "He's not wrong! It's land, all right!"</font>

  9. <font color='#000000'>During the week, Taydran had tried to eat much less then the rest of the crew for he was smaller and needed less. He had also tried to use his small skill in fishing to catch something but it was no avail. So instead of trying to get some rashions for the crew, he went about cleaning up the ship so it sparkled when they arrived in Bhim. The cabins had been organized and dusted profusely and the halls scrubbed many times over.

Taydran was below deck cleaning up the Galley when he heard the call. A large grin swept across his visage as he dropped his rag and darted upstairs. Skidding across the deck, the sable embued youth came to hang over the rail gazing out at the large land mass dead ahead. J-shaped necklace dangled and glinted in the setting sun. Taydran had been glad he hadn't lost the pendant in his little brush with death. He cherished it with his life. Glancing down at it, he grasped it and swung back onto the deck. He couldn't wait for Bhim.</font>

  10. <font color='#348781'>((ooc: Im back!!!!!!!!!&#33[IMG])

Gejusa had been unconcious throughout the passing week. Shedrifted between dreams, most of them terreble and horrfying. She would not be able to remeamber them, but she would remeamber the fear. She shook and writhed on her bed in her private cabin. She started mumbling, her voice getting louder. Anyone outside might have heard her.

She shook from side to side, almost falling out of her bed. She stopped moving. She was stalk still but for her paw, stroking her arm, the one covered with scars. She opened her mouth like she was screaming but made no sound. She started rocking back and forth again, still stroking her arm. The movement of her stroking paw started to get jerky, her claws flicked out and scraped against her caurse fur. She started to make lines down her arm with her own claws, small trickles of blod ran from her arm.

She suddenly stopped stroking her arm and started to.....swim. Her arms and good leg paddled like her life depended on it. And then in one quick motion she sat up closed her eyes and screamed at the top of her lungs, a surprisingly high pitched sound you would not expect from someone like her.

    "WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!"

She yelled. She sat there for a second, her eyes still screwed shut. She eased her eyes open, a look of sheer terror in them. She looked around her cabin, now feeling the gentle rock of the sea. She remeambered what had happened and the terror drained from her face. She bent down and looked at her leg, it had healed significantly, enough that it was inn no major need of her bandana. She untied it, peeling it away from her wound. She eyed it for a second, there was no way she was puting the  cloth on her head in this state.

She got out of her bad, as she did she remeambered the scream she had made. She did not know why she had done it, but she had been so afraid, of what though? The pain in her leg was so great she did not notice the  small ach of her arm, she blood descuising itself as that of the wound on her leg. She limped to the  door, a look of shame on her face. She was a pirate, pirates did not go off and help others and get nightmares. This ship was doing things to her, these pendragons where.....to kind! It was poisoning her evil little mind!

She shook her head and opened the door. She would stay as hidden as posible. Holding hte red bandana in her paw, she walked to the deck. Just before reaching it she heard Ziarch. Bhim? So that was where they where headed. She had not bothered to get the details apon boarding the ship. She eased her way on board and creapt into a shadow, she was able to walk perfectly, if a little slower than she would have liked with her injured leg. She would have to thank whoever had helped her. Wait a minute no I wont, I am a pirateand there is no way I will thank anyone! An angered look passed her face, but was soon gone. She made her way to the side of the Water Dragon and looked over. She closed her eyes and leaned against the side. She loved the smell of the sea, everything about the wreathing water apealed to her. She leaned heavily against the side, just catching her balance before falling over. She was not quite ready to swim again for some reason.

She saw Tyran, he had just come out of the water, and for that she had noticed him. She had not seen the wings, either because she was not looking for them, or her state of mind just clouded her vision. She found herself wondering why he had been in the water. She stared at him, for lack of anything elce to do. I have really lost it.</font>

  11. <font color='#348781'>((oops double post))</font>

  12. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman headed toward Incendi and the sailor, he didn't want to heal anybody else before they reached Bhim.

He grabbed the sailor out of the way, and pushed him in the opposite direction.

He turned to Incendi and said in a low voice so that she could only hear him. "Go to my room. It's dry and you won't get water dumped on you. You'll stay dry till we reach Bhim and dry land."

Movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention and he turned toward it. It was the pirate, up and out of bed. He shook his head. "I give up with her, she hurts herself, she can deal with it," he muttered to himself. He shot a smile at Incendi before turning to look toward Bhim.</font>

  13. <font color='#000080'>ooc:i haf permission for the snag and drag scene below... so no complaining or i'll eat you for desert with my brains!

Incendi snarled angrily but didn't put up a real fight when her victem was pulled away.  She twitched, tail swishing angrily about.  She paused, ears cocked as she listened to Jarman.  A thought registered in her mind as she agreed.  She could kill him now in his own cabin... she exclaimed loudly.  "My hero!" and ushered him off to his cabin, carefully playing it off as if he was going of his own free will.  a small stilleto was kept hidden out of sight between them and pressed against his ribs.

She whispered for him to hear "Come now, no use trying to get away, lets just go on down to your cabin and see what happens."</font>

  14. <font color='#810541'>Ziarch watched as Incendi and Jarman made their way below deck. His grin faltered slightly at Jarmans sudden stiffness, but ignored the odd sight. He would check up on the doctor a little later on. At the moment Bhim was coming closer and closer and as much as the assassin loved the ocean he wanted nothing more than to set foot on dry land. The sight of the black blob slowly developing features was a beautiful one. He didn't wnat to tear his eyes from it.

A change of any sort would be more than welcome at this point. One could only spend so much time on a 40 foot ship with numerous other individuals without become anxious and jittery. Besides, he wanted his beautiful ship fixed so they could get on their way to the main focus of this trip.

Ziarch sighed and turned from the growing piece of land. He needed to raise the blue and yellow flag that signalled they were a friendly ship and find out where Bhim's harbour was located. He headed below deck as well, towards his cabin. His stomach growled loudly on the way. <span style='color:navy'>Guess I'd better grab some coins as well. I'll trade them for some fresh fruit when we dock. Man, I would kill for a piece of fruit right now.</span></font>

  15. <font color='#348781'>Gejusa noticed Jarman being dragged off in a strange manner. What in the? She thought to herself, but she stayed put for she was loving her spot in the shadow, near the sea. She looked back over the edge and frowned. She waves where not nearly high enough to splash her in the face. She looked around then back at the water, bringing it closer to her to colide with her blackened muzzle. She smiled and let out a sigh.

"Now that is whart Im talkin' bout!"

She said under her breath. She lifted the bandana over the dge of the ship, carrying it with her mind to the ocean surface. She dinked it under, haveing a little trouble keeping hold, but not enough to make her drop it. She shook it around a bit and lifted it back up to her. She facened the bright cloth to her head. She turned to see Ziarch going down below deck. She saw the land growing ever larger, and the empty spot where the flag should be. An evil grin passed her face, it was time to prove she was indeed a pirate, blood thirsty and evil. What she was thinking was not the worst thing under the sun, but it would create havok, whitch was all she wanted. She waited on deck for Ziarch to come back up.</font>

  16. <font color='#728FCE'>OoC: Sorry to post again so um... soon i guess... but nobody's posting... so, yeah, i decided to post again... hope that's alright... i've gotten permission from incendi to do parts of this post...

IC: Jarman stiffened slightly, then rolled his eyes. He allowed Incendi to lead him below deck and to his room.

Once there he asked her "So, why all the fuss?"

He didn't listen to her answer, knowing it had something to do with a letter sent anonymously. One he sent. This was still a game to him. To her, it was now business. Fun.

Not wanting to reveal that little secret yet, he leaned in and kissed Incendi. In the stunned/shocked silence that followed, Jarman ran out of the room and back toward deck.</font>

  17. <font color='#000080'>Linnet watched as the others started to move around and get their things together. She herself was planning on staying with the ‘Water Dragon’ for a least a till the port after this one. Unless they got tired of her and kicked her off. But she found them nice and didn’t think they would do anything like that.

She followed suit and went below deck and into her room. She started to rummage thought a few things she had with her. She finally found a small that giggled as she shook it. It was most of the money she had with her. Enough to get food and maybe a few interesting things if something caught her eyes.

She thought the bag over her shoulder and walked back on deck. She went over to the railing along the side of the ship. Watching as the little dot on the horizon grew and grew.

OOC: As for starting a knew thread in Brim, I think itÂ’s a good idea. Then people can go there separate ways, more people can join and those who want to leave can. And this thread is getting pretty long too.</font>

  18. <font color='#000080'>Incendi caught his thoughts and her eyes widened.  He sent a hit on himself?  How could she get paid?!  SHe stumbled and nearly fell when he kissed her but after a brief second she roared and charged after him, fireballs hurtling every which way.

"You no good bastard!  Get back here!  I'm not through with you yet!  I'm going to gut you and string you up the flag pole by your intestines!  Jarman Zig!"

She was so angry that she wasn't paying that much attention to where she was going or who she was nearly running over in her anger.</font>
