  1. <font color='#000080'>Incnedi tilted her head slightly and smirked at the nioti's attampts to melt the waters.  She let him try knowing full well that no matter how much he melted them they would merely freeze back.  As for the fishes... she cared not for them.  Stupid things swimming in the damnded waters deserved to die if they didn't know to swim away or futher down.  The storm was slowing now, growing calmer even as she watched, snow drifting gently down as her eyes glittered with nostalgia.  Home... home had been like this, frozen over... only much more so.  Perhaps one day, Jesaisa willing, she would return.  Though of course she would not know any of the younger generation.

She glanced down at the refreezing waters, forehead furrowing slightly as she saw the two in the water.  Well they had better get out soon, Incendi did not especially wish to keep a small circle open in the ice but she would if they remained down too long.  the master sorcoress paced slightly on the ship, a tracery of frost feathers spreading below every step she took.  she watched the kraken, and then she concentrated, increasing the ice around it, building up solid ice walls to freeze its flesh and entrap it.  pesky thing...</font>

  2. <font color='#810541'>His mind registered one thing and one thing only; LoneShadow. Nothing else registered. Nothing else mattered enough to register! Teal eyes burned with a feverish need for blood. His body quacked with the need, ached for it, and protested when it was not satisfied. Only the want to understand stopped the silver, blood stained hand from closing entirely around LoneShadows thin neck.

The low growl was replaced by laughter. <span style='color:navy'>"Do you really believe that I would accept any of that crap, LoneShadow? Do I appear to be as big a fool as that! You act so self ritious and innocent, yet you threaten this ship and all its occupants. Going even so far as to call up a creature of the dark! And still you say you would never kill."</span> He shook his head, uncomprehending. The teal eyes going soft for but a second before hardening again into the emotionless eyes of a killer.

<span style='color:navy'>"You're the fool LoneShadow. Nothing more than an ignorant fool with power, and you know what? Fools like you are the most dangerous because they all to often do not realize how stupid they and their actions are. I feel nothing but pity for your 'clan'. Having to be led by you... I guess that makes them as stupid as you yourself are wouldn't it? What a waste."

"I wish I could say it, but I cannot. I wont be mising you LoneShadow and I doubt anyone else will either. In short, goodbye.</span>
Ziarch let himself go, all reservations he may have had about killing the sorcerer gone. Scattered by the lies that spewed from LoneShadows mouth.

His body eagerly reacted to the withdrawn blockades, muscles immediatly clenched pulling Ziarchs paw into a quick fist. The sharp claws dug into the flesh of LoneShadow's neck with ease making way for fingers which clutched the aorta. Shuddering muscles jerked and Ziarch's bloodied hand came free.

Immediatly his facial features softened and the cold in the teal orbs was replaced by horror and shame. <span style='color:navy'>Again... oh god, not again!</span> His lips curled back from white fangs as uncontrollable spazms ran through his body. Ziarch crumpled ontop of the now frozen kracken, his body doubled over as pain filled him. Picking at his mind and pulling at his soul.

It was self-inflicted pain. The punishment he gave himself for killing another living being. It was the curse of a pure soul taught to kill.

OOC: I may have overdone this ^-^ LoneShadow, the only reason I "killed" you was because you said that the blood and pain was all an illusion. I figured that Lone would have a way out of this. If you need me to I will gladly change this post. Just ask. *grins*

Ack! Taydran, Tyran! Dont diiiieeee!!!!!!! >.<</font>

  3. <font color='#000080'>Lìnnet quickly got up of the way and got hold of something before she was also thrown over board. She had seen Taydran fall over board and was about to go try to help but Tyran had already jumped over. She decided that she would just keep an eye on them. If they weren’t back in a few minutes she would also jump in.

At the sound of LoneÂ’s voice she turned back to him. A small growl left her lips.
<span style='color:orange'>“Your right LoneShadow. I did want to go to bed and not have to worry about being killed in my sleep. Is there something wrong with that? I have now learn of the dangers of this world, but I have also learnt of it kindness. But not from you."</span>

She paused for a second and looked over to the hole in the ice.
<span style='color:orange'>“I’ve had my doubts about you since I first saw you. But I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Hoping that maybe just maybe there was some good in you."</span>

She had more to say but she was running out of breath and didnÂ’t feel like voicing her whole opinion. Now before her she thought she saw LoneShadow die. She turned away. Her mind went back to Taydran. She quickly jumped over the side and into the hole in the ice. She knew that Tyran had followed but it worried her. And who knew the water better then one who lived under it for 14 years.

She quickly but a bubble of air around her head. She also saw Tyran further ahead so she put one on him as well. Hoping he wouldnÂ’t mind her using magic on him. The only problem was that she couldnÂ’t see Taydran yet. She gave a beat of her wings hoping to find him soon.</font>

  4. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman watched from the side. There was not much he could do. He would definately be busy after everything settled... If it ever did.

He saw Lone and Ziarch and headed toward them as Ziarch collapsed in pain.

OoC: gah! sorry, but, there's really not much he can do... so, yeah... don't know if he should help lone or not, b/c lone hasn't posted yet...</font>

  5. <font color='#000000'>The sight of a bubble gave hope to the young adult Pendragon, as he was starting to wonder if the nioti was unconcious. But it also struck fear - he might drown if he wasn't quick enough. The confusion was making him wonder if he should turn back... but then the bubble appeared. He gasped... and could breathe normally! Quickly he sent a telepathic message of thanks, then pushed his wings further, pushing him down towards where he saw Taydran.

The bubble was allowing him to push harder, as it meant he could breathe as if on land. Soon he saw the faint figure of a nioti, but he knew that he mightn't get there fast enough if he didn't speed down there... so he paddled even harder.

Somehow, a strong current pushed him and Linnet down quicker, and soon Tyran could see the younger pendragon. The temperature was dropping, a sign that he should get back to the surface as soon as possible. He sent a telepathic message to Taydran and began kicking even harder.

    {We're coming, kid. We're coming.}

Soon he was within grabbing distance of Taydran, which was pretty close seeing that Tyran was only the size of a terran fox. He put his paws underneath, and thrust him upwards, then let the limp body rest on his back as he began kicking back to the surface. But Taydran was, even in the water, heavier than Tyran could easily carry, partially due to size.</font>

  6. <font color='#348781'>OOC: Just a quick note, I can't really do much with Taydran right now so his posts are gonna be short.

The young male was faintly aware of a voice inside of his mind. He moved his limbs as best he could in responce to Tyran. The paws of his smaller counterpart were evident on his back and Taydran was happy for that.</font>

  7. <font color='#000000'>((ooc: OMG I am SOOO incredibly sorry, I missed so much&#33[IMG])

Gejusa laid on the bed for a wile then she suddenly woke up. Her eyes snapped open and she sat up reaching for her sword. Then she relized she was not on the deck anymore, she was in a room. She was genuinly puzzled. Then something brushed against her face, she lifted her paw to swat at what ever it was. It was her hair! She lifted her paw to her head and relized her bandana was no longer there. She was about to panick when she saw the red cloth around her leg.

    "What the?"

She went to take if off when suddenly a peircing pain shot from her leg. She then remeambered what had happened and what was happening on deck. She lifted herself from the bed, who's ever it was, and limped out of the room. She was used to injuries, but not ones like this. She stumbled around until she found herway back on the deck. Suddenly the situation hit her, what was she doing up here? She looked around trying to stay away from the mad Lone Shadow. At first when this whole thing had started she was a bit sad not to have been involved in the mutany, but now she relized it was an all out war!

"Lovely bit of mess Ive got meself into."

She then saw one of the pendragons jump overboard. Her eyes widened and she ran over to the edge and jumped. She could swim fine with her leg, and even if she couldn't she would not drown. She hit the water and went down into the depths. She let the cold salt water flow through her gills as she looked around for the pendragon. Suddenly she spotted him, but he was carying another. It did not seem like they needed much help but she couldn't tell. She made her way painfully over to them and did her best to push them upward with her mind. It was dificult for the water kept getting in her field of concentration. She did not stop to think about how she, a pirate, was helping two others. She never was the type to watch as prisoners jumped off the plank into a school of sharks, but she had never done anything about it. But these thoughts did not reach her mind for she needed ever ounce of concentration that was not on her leg or swimming to be on the two in the water, the surface could not be far now.

((ooc: I never thought she was the type to play hero.^_^))</font>

  8. <font color='#000080'>As soon as Lìnnet saw Taydran she also called up a bubble of air around his head. But she knew that doing that wasn’t the only thing that would save him. They where all still in danger if they were in the water.

She garbed his other arm and started to help pulled. She never thought it would be this hard, it felt like the water was against them. It had taken her a few minutes to realise that Gejusa was in the water with them. She didn’t even know how she got there. She sent a bubble around her but didn’t know how much more magic she could use without putting herself in more danger then she all ready was.

She tried to ignore the pain but it was hard. She gave a push with her over sized wings for once being happy with their bigness. Up ahead she could start to see the light or more the flashes of powerful magic, since natural light was covered in big black clouds.  </font>

  9. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman saw Gejusa, but he was too late to stop her from going after the others.

"Great. She'll die of cold now. After all that trouble I went through." He sighed. Four overboard, one in pain, and another bleeding to death from a neckwound... Just great...

He continued to make his way to Lone and Ziarch... not sure if he should trust the fact that Lone really did have a fatal wound.</font>

  10. <font color='#348781'>Gejusa almost choked when the bubble appeared around her head. She had been breathing perfectly with her gills, and was not expecting the sudden transition. She shrugged and closed her gills and breathed. She kept pushing up on them, now alittle more at ease. She would be fine, the surface wasn't that far away, so they would be fine. She then actualy relized that she was HELPING someone. She stopped moving for a second, she was coming out of her previous state. She was a pirate, and pirates just did not do things like this. She stopped helping the two up, they could make it themselves if they tried. She started swimming up as fast as she could, her leg numb with the freezing cold water. She was still unsure about who had tied her bandana around her leg. But she would deel with that subject latter. She made her way up to the same hight as the others, and a wave of regret flowed through her. She couldn't just leave them. She was throurowly confused now. She made her way up to the surface, finding a small hole in the ice. She climbed out and the pain shot from her leg again. She let out a small yell and colapesed ont he frozen water. The sky was a spectacle of scorcery and magic, things she knew nothing about. She turned to the water again and consentrated on dragging the two up out of the water. She started to drift out of conciousness again. Her last amounts of strength and consentration on the two pendragons.

((ooc:i know its out of order, but im leaving, didnt want to get to far behind))</font>

  11. <font color='#000000'>He continued kicking, becoming near-oblivious to his surroundings. As he did, he pushed forwards with his wings... and his eyes became glowing red again. But instead of becoming aggressive, he began kicking with very supernatural strength, and soon he was near the surface. As it happened, the eyes stopped glowing immediately. Tyran blinked, but continued.

Soon, he and Taydran were on the sheet of ice. Tyran was shivering and freezing cold, but he did his best to try to warm the younger but slightly bigger 'dragon. One could hear him mutter something strange...

"How did I suddenly get so close to the surface?"</font>

  12. <font color='#810541'>The painful spasms that swept though his body slowly subsided. Ziarch opened a single eye to survey the damage wrote. The ship was in surprisingly good condition after everything that had happened. The sky was still dark however the clouds had lightened in colour and were not as menacing as they had been. On the other side of the ship he could here the gasping breaths of many dragons in the silence that surounded the 'water dragon'.

Ziarch stood up with a wince, still panting, and lept from the krackens frozen body. He ignored LoneShadows crumpled body as he shakily flew over it. He crossed over the ship and decended to the ice on the other side. His body was sore, every muscle protesting loudly against the exertion of flying. before he landed his wings gave out and he fell to the ice below. The assassin landed with a loud grunt only moving to heave himself from the frozen waters after a number of minutes.

He slowly made his way over to the others. Linnet, Taydran, Tyran, and Gejusa all lay scattered on the ice in various states of conscienceness. He looked up at the hull of the ship. Far above, on the deck he could just make out Jarman and Incendi.

<span style='color:navy'>"Is everyone okay? We should get you all back on the ship. Warm everyone up and take a long rest. Hopefully Jarman will be able to patch up anyone with wounds."</span> Ziarch's voice was coarse and scratched at his dry throat. He held out a hand to Linnet and Tyran, the only two who looked well enough to even heed his words and even they looked partially frozen.

OOC: Sorry for the long absence. I was kinda hoping LoneShadow would post. *shrugs* Aww well. Shall we continue our journey?</font>

  13. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman turned to Incendi. "Help get them on deck. I'm going to fetch some blankets. Try not to jar the priate's leg too much."

He turned away before she could answer and headed below deck. He went to the first few cabins and grabbed the blankets from them before heading back to the deck.</font>

  14. <font color='#000080'>Incendi glared at Jarman as he walked by.  Stupid little nioti giving her orders.... she sighed and looked down at the bedraggled group on the ice.  She was too tired to lift them all up at once, though she probably could she wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to keep them stable.  so instead her eyes glowed a calm orange and she floated them one by one carefully back onto the ship.  She knew from experience that these southern pendragons usually didn't do that well in the cold so she also added small non burning flames strategically around them to help warm them up faster.  She glanced up at Ziarch and padded out to see to him, feet never touching the ground as she walked.  "Will you be doing all right then?"</font>

  15. <font color='#000000'>"I-I-I-I-I--"

Tyran was too busy stuttering with cold to answer Ziarch. In fact, he was too busy shivering to be able to grab Ziarch's paw. A beam of light came from the louds, and Tyran could be clearly seen for the first time.

He was a gleaming black pendragon, with silver and white markings. His wings were large enough to carry twice his own weight in the air, which was quite something. But what was quite noticable was the fact that only half of his tail was there - no tailflame! Also, the texts were now legible - to those who could read Ramathian.

His eyes turned glowing red again, and he stood up. He spoke in the same voice, only deeper and more gruff. "I don't need help... this body does. Only it doesn't need help from a vicious fighter." Then the eyes flashed back to blue, just before he was floated off the ice and onto the deck. Tyran shivered, and managed to speak again.

"This is really wierd... I can remember freezing cold, and the next thing I know, I've been standing up and I'm lifted onto here. I swear I did not stand up!"</font>

  16. <font color='#000080'>Linnet had just not even noticed that the other ‘dragon had gills. She guessed that she should have been paying more attention. The cold of the water must have been getting to her head.

She guessed that she must have fainted or something because she was on the ice once again. She looked around still lying on the ground seeing what condition the others were in.

She heard Ziarch’s words and looked up at him. She took his paw and stood. Her legs were weak and a bit frozen so she had a hard time standing. <span style='color:orange'>“Thanks.."</span> Was all she was able to get out of her mouth.

She felt herself being lifted, she was about to fight it because her first thoughts went to LoneShadow. She then realized that it was Incendi and stopped. Letting herself be lifted on to the deck. She nodded in thanks to her. Her mind went back to the fight.
    <span style='color:orange'>“What happened? Where’s LoneShadow?"</span>

The questions flew out of her mouth. Not really asking any one just voicing the question. She felt her body warming out and she was able to move better now. She rubbed her arms and legs. She also looked around to see what had happened since they had all gone under.

OOC: I really must pay more attention to this treadÂ…</font>

  17. <font color='#000000'>The fox-sized pendragon's reply was instant. However, it too was a question. "LoneShadow? Who is... or, who was he?" He looked towards Linnet, clearly confused. What was not really known was that he had no idea of the demon and that it could take control of him, only that things happened that he didn't know about. For instance, when he destroyed his tribe, he didn't know it was the demon... he believed it was himself.

    ((OOC: Argh. Shortness.))</font>

  18. <font color='#348781'>The young 'dragon lay unmoving on the ice as the others slowly regained their sences. His vibrant golden flame was dim but it was gaining strength. It was soon large enough so that Taydran was not in any danger of dying. Suddenly, the young black 'dragon began coughing violently. Water came up as he lay there trying to get air into his lungs. He opened his deep cerulean orbs wearily as he gazed around at his rescuers. A small smile crept up on his visage as he realized that they risked their lives to save him. His own parents wouldn't have even done that for him. In his growing strength, Taydran propped himself into a sitting postition with a few coughs hear and there. He shivered and hugged himself as he smiled up at his crewmates, maybe even someday friends. Taydran's voice was weak but laden with thanks.

    T-t-thanks for s-s-saving me you g-guys. I s-should have been m-m-ore carefull.

The young cabin boy broke down in a shivering fit and was glad that Zirach said to get back to the ship and get warm.</font>

  19. <font color='#810541'>A heavy sigh blew at the pale blue strands of hair hanging in front of the assassin's face. Ziarch looked up to meet Incendi's eyes. <span style='color:navy'>"I'll be fine. I'm used to this."</span> His gaze wandered to the blood stained fur covering his chest and arm. A grimace contorted his features as a muscle in his leg twitched in responce. <span style='color:navy'>"I just need an hour or two to get my head around this. Can you unfreeze the waters now? We need to get to Bhim and if we go soon should make it there by morning. The ship may not seem to have any cracks or damage done, but there could easily be something unseen. Besides, I think we lost over half our supplies in that little... adventure."</span>

He looked at the rest of his ragged crew and stood up just a bit straighter. His gaze lingered on the jet black newcomer for a while studying him. <span style='color:navy'>"Linnet, Taydran... you guys take as long as you need to recover. Tyran, you are welcome to stay as long as you need. You have my gratitude for going after my first mate and saving his sorry butt, I dont know what i'd do without him. However, keep youself under control, understand? As for Loneshadow... dont worry yourselves about him. He wont be bothering us again."</span>

While the deck and hull of the massive ship had remained in relativly good shape everything else was a mess. Lines lay everywhere, the main mast still lay broken to two parts, and sails, or pieces of them, lay in shreded piles scattered across the decking. Ziarch sighed again and went to scrub the blood off of himself before even attempting to clean up his ship. <span style='color:navy'>And to think, we havn't even really begun the quest yet!</span></font>

  20. <font color='#348781'>Taydran was taken back by Zirach's words. No one else had fallen overboard except him. He was the only one who had needed rescuing...You have my gratitude for going after my first mate and saving his sorry butt, I dont know what i'd do without him. First mate? Taydran knew he had done rather well during the whole predicament but he didn't expect Zirach to bump him up just like that. A gratefull smile crossed his visage and he nodded to Zirach.

Thanks sir. I'll try to speed up my recovery.

His gaze turned to Linnet. She was warming up and for that he was thankfull. He wouldn't want anyone suffering from prenumonia on his part. His dark cerulean gaze turned to Tyran and he nodded. Taydran mouthed a thank you towards him. He still didn't know about the air bubble that had saved them all, nor about the one who made them. Taydran looked around the ship and saw many things needed fixing. He rose up on wobblely limbs but soon got his balance. Taking a closer look, he also saw that some of the crew had been injured in the fight.  With a slow step, Taydran took off down the deck to begin the repairs. He called back to the group in a friendly and inviting tone.

Best get started on the repairs or we won't make sail until tommorow evening.

Tay didn't want to make them think that he was ordering them, it was more of an offer.</font>
