  1. <font color='#000080'>Incendi lept to her feet and dove to the side, her mind keen on the web of magic flowing through the air.  Her kinetic shield wavered only slightly as she moved, exerting most of her concentration on Lone and the magic.  Had her mind not been so preoccupied she might have spied the mast falling and skittered away from it unstead of in its direct path like she had.  Red hazed eyes looked upwards and she flinched only briefly as the mast came crashing onto the invisible sphere of energy around her.  Her shield remained intact and she remained unharmed from the falling wreckage but her concentration had dropped, and that tiny bit had been enough.

She brought her gaze upwards as Lone roared and released his rage into his magic.  ooooohh... doody.  She felt a huge pressure within her chest but gritted her teeth, eyes blazing brighter in pain as she fought.  Lightening streaked across the sky and she snarled, snatching control of the storm to herself.  The lightning ceased to streak across the sky in jagged formation.  instead, she directed all of the storm to one single point: Lone.</font>

  2. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman bolted upright when he heard the crash, and wondered what it was, before he was distracted by the large amount of magic he felt oming from the deck.

His ears flatened to his skull, and he slowly made his way back to deck, curiousity getting the best of him.</font>

  3. <font color='#0000FF'>LoneShadow roared in anger as the controlled storm attempted to kill him. He used his mastery of dark sourcery to create an thousand illusions of him across the sky that flew and swooped everywhere marking its trail with magic that would confuse the storm making it send out its deadly lightning crashing aboard the deck of the ship causing flames to alight abroad the ship but LoneShadow was not completely mad else he would not have extinguised the flames as they started to blaze.

The true LoneShadow had dove for the sea disappearing in the murky blackness of it where he constructed an magical sphere that surrounded him providing him with oxygen and keeping out the deadly crushing pressures of the depths. There he communicated with the sea goddess whom he begged to allow him control of her creature for an limited time. Finally he rode the creature as it swam with an sleekiness by wrapping its many tentacles around its body. It was an large beast, bigger then even that of an ship as it awaited several miles near the ship. Its black eyes piercing the wooden construction of the Water Dragon where it saw pure chaos abroad the ship the with an quick shake of its smooth head, it let forth an roar as it revealled itself. Rising in an furious sprout water that exploded far into the sky.

"Do you dare challegne the might of my power" LoneShadow roared standing tall and proud on the king of all sea creatures.......an Kracken "If you who dare challenge me then i say come fight me one-on-one" He had created an illusion of himself many times bigger than he was with flames as an eyes "do not run away coward" he said angrily as he awaited his reply.</font>

  4. <font color='#000000'>((ooc: sorry I wasnt here for so long. Well, I guess no one really missed me...))

    ic:

Gejusa had been watching thespectacles from her seat. She was having fun, it was like a movie. She was just glad nothing like this had ever happened when she was captain. Her red eyes glowed with joy, a mutanous crew, a socerer, it was like a movie! Suddenly the mast swayed dangerously. It started to fall at her. She tried to untie the rope but her fingers where to wobly. She lost hope of untieing herself so she stared directly at the mast. She had never been able to control something so big, she had only just learned that power. She tried to levitate it but the weight of the mast pushed down at her mind. She strained and managed to move the mast just left of where it would have fallen, right on top of her. She looked around from the deck, she had fallen down from the strain. No one seemed to have noticed it's slight change in path, and she did not blame them for all the spectacle. Suddenly some liquid came down to her face, and a seering pain jolted through her leg.

    Oh no.

She looked over at the mast, it had cought her right on her lower leg. She did not struggle for it would be useless and the mast was to much of a strain on her mind to move. She looked around, her usual jovial, mocking eyes, marked with pure pain. Then she let out a slight laugh, and dug her claws into the wood. She was going to die from a fallen mast when there where two skilled magitians trying to take control of the crew. At least she would die without having to choose sides. She sighed, and the pain in her leg went away. Her vision clowded over and all she could see was a large fire-eyed monster. She smiled and laid down on the deck and fell into a pain-filled sleep.

((OOC: i wasn't really in the plot at all so im pushing myself back in.^_^ ))</font>

  5. <font color='#348781'>Taydran saw the mast fall and hoped that no one was crushed under it. He saw Linnet contimplating wether or not to call out to him and he nodded to her. Understanding the predicament, he knew no one would call out but most were with him. Taydran felt the gaze of Zirach 'pon him momentarily and he turned to his Captian. His dark blue orbs met with his and Taydran nodded yet again. The deck continued to heave with every wave and threated to break under them. The wood groaned like a huge beast as he leaped down to the deck below.

Taydran then heard the loud roar of the Kraken. He froze and turned towards the towering beast. It loomed over the ship and atop it's mighty head stood LoneShadow. A low growl sounded within Tay but was lost in the wind. Taydran suddenly became terrified and he gazed with fear at the beast. Lightning flashed and lit up the faces of the crew. Taydran knew what was running through their heads. Were they gonna make it? Were they all going to drowned in the dark depths of the sea? A small tear ran down his face and mixed with the rain that soaked his fur. With a mix of emotions running through his veins, Taydran ran towards the side of the ship and glared up at LoneShadow.

Why are you doing this!? Don't you realize that you could very well die with the rest of us?

Taydran looked down at the deck as a large snarl erupted from his throat. Black bangs plastered to his face as he gazed at LoneShadow with icy daggers.

I hope you drown. I hope you rot in the deepest of trenches living with the guilt that you will hold. You may say that you will never be guilty but it haunts even the evilest of beings eventually. I wish you death LoneShadow.

Cold tones flooded the last sentence that Taydran said. Glancing at the rest of the crew, he felt a sence of pride in what he said. Turning once more to LoneShadow, he smirked.

Don't be a coward Lone. You use that beast to fight your fights making you a coward. Come down here and fight like a man.</font>

  6. <font color='#810541'>OOC: I MISSED YA! *hugs* If it makes you feel any better there was about a weeks lapse where no-one pointed. Hence the incredible long post here *points down* Trying to catch Ziarch up with the events. LoL He'll take care of Gejusa. Dont you worry ^-^

IC:  Ziarch came out of his daze at Linnet's words. <span style='color:navy'>My crew? Follow?</span> He shook his head and murmered a quick <span style='color:navy'>"thanks."</span> to Linnet. It was unusual for him to drift off like that but one thing was sure, Linnet was right. He had to act and get things back under some sort of control.

He took in the state of the ship. Most of the crew was scattered across the deck in terror, the mast was down, raw energy crackled above them from two extreamlly powerful sorcerers, and Taydran stood tall and defiant against said individuals. Ziarch opened his mouth to yell but nothing but a whisper came out as a huge thing errupted fomr the seas beside them. Its bulk was probably twice that of the ship, its eyes easily larger than Ziarch himself. <span style='color:navy'>"A kracken..."</span> The name came out in a whisper. The captain had never seen such a creature before, only read about them or overheard rumours. yet here was one of the massive beasts right in front of him. A cold shiver went down his spine. In the corner of his eye he saw movement.

<span style='color:navy'>"Taydran! You fool what are you doing? Kids going to get himself killed talking to that madman and his... pet. Damn it! Well, may as well use the time thats being bought for me. Hopefully the price doesn't end up to high..."</span> Ziarch couldn't hear what was said, but he was sure that it probably wasn't plesentries being exchanged.

The silver male jumped into action, letting Taydran do as he wished. Afterall the boy- the man, was first mate in Ziarchs mind, if not officially. He began to gather the crew together. Injecting some confidence into the abused minds of the 'dragons who essentially could swing this war one way or the other. He continued to weave his way through the masses of rope, sail, and wood until he had reached the other end of the ship. Then he began working his way back.

On his left he saw a familiar bandana. On closer inspection he also saw its owner, it piratess, Gejusa. She was unconscience and it was easy to see why. A large splinter from the fallen mast had pierced her leg. Blood covered the limb and much of the deck beneath her. He looked around, most of the crew had already gathered behind Taydran hefting "weapons" of all shapes, sizes and materials. Ziarch wanted to stand at Taydrans side, but his conscience anchored him to the spot. Taydran could handle things over there... hopefully, and as long as the female lived he couldn't leave her on her own.

Ziarch cursed loudly into the wind, which thankfully carried the offensive words from any ears which would have bled upon hearing them. He was no doctor. He had no healing skills. His talents lay mostly on the other side of that line.

Despite desperatly lacking knowledge, Ziarch kneeled beside the pirate and with a wince pulled out the offending splinter. Blood that had previously been partially blocked came flooding out. His eyes widened in shock. This wasn't surposed to happen! He grabbed for the bandana pressing it against the open wound and hopeing for, by some miracle, someone who knew what they were doing would show up....

OOC: Wow that did end up long... I'm sorry!!!!! *runs and hides*</font>

  7. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman came out on deck and took in as much as he could. He was distracted when he saw the captain kneeling by the injured Piratess.

He saw what the captain was going to do and called out, but the captain didn't hear him. He ran over and moved the captain's paws, placing his own over the bandana, applying pressure.

"I've got it, Ziarch." He said, his emerald eyes searching for any other wounds or injuries.</font>

  8. <font color='#000000'>Tyran had been watching the entire thing with widened eyes, apparently too frightened to move or do anything. But the moment he saw the Kraken, something within him snapped... a feral roar came from his throat, as loud as the noises around him. He charged towards the bow, standing near there and facing the enormous beast. But his eyes... they were glowing red! And so were the texts on the cuffs on his legs. Each one of them bore the same message...

    Rafuja sha panym vyjn't fjush.

Tyran was Ramathian-illiterate, but those that could read Ramathian would most likely realise that it meant danger. A demon... inside of this Pendragon. The demon, whatever it was, had taken control of him.

'Tyran' smirked, and yelled at LoneShadow. "You foolish mortal! You dared to take control of a Kraken... well, that is your own undoing, cowardly pendragon. If you are powerful and brave, come here and face a demon!"</font>

  9. <font color='#348781'>Taydran growled dangerously at Loneshadow. A smirk was still evident on his visage as he took yet another step forward. Tail swung once as he readied himself for some sort of attack from the rogue 'dragon. Lightning flashed again and shimmered against the cold daggers of the youth's eyes. Claws flashed as they were extended to full length. Suddenly, he heard the wild roar from behind him and Taydran glanced over his shoulder to see Tyran barreling toward him. With an accepting smile, the black 'dragon stepped aside to make room for the other. Tyran's booming voice was heard throughout the ship and Taydran nodded. His fellow crewmate was indeed right. With a grin, Tay threw up his head and howled to the raging clouds above in agreement to Tyran's speech.</font>

  10. <font color='#810541'>Ziarch let out a HUGE sigh of relief when Jarman appeared against all odds and took over. He gladly stepped ou of the way relenquishing his position beside Gejusa and looked over at where the Kracken... and LoneShadow were.

Taydran had gained a partner in the stand against LoneShadow. Ziarch had no idea where the dark 'dragon had come from. His eyes shone with an unnatural red; glyphs around his ankles also shone with the same eerie light. They were unreadable, but Ziarch was glad the male was helping rather than hindering Taydran. The assassin had developed a soft spot for the young 'dragon in the short time he had known him.

A low growl formed in Ziarchs throat. Deep and menacing it caused a slight vibration in his chest. Zairch took advantage of his current position, out of the ruckus and out of mind, and jumped off the boat. His wings spread wide, the darker grey feathers helping him blend in against the gloomy clouds. The strong drafts although brutal against his body, helped with the lifts. Quiet as a snowy owl across the tundra, for owls make no noise when they fly, he swept around in a large arc. His teal eyes glinted with the sudden glare of lightning in the distance and he dove towards the dark figure stand on top of the sea monster. <span style='color:navy'>I've had enough of this foolishness. Loneshadow! Your dead, by my hand or anothers! Either way I want the first strike!</span></font>

  11. <font color='#0000FF'>The Kracken let out an jet of water shoot from its enourmous mouth as it tentacles unrolled themself revealing large suckers on each tentacles, the black orbs watched with intelligent reflecting in its eyes as the tentacles each aimed themself at Ziarch attempting to whip him and throw him with an enourmous force nto the churnling sea that would trap him. LoneShadow nodded his head forwards as an regretful look passed across his face as he silently ordered the Kracken to hold and wait, he would allow Ziarch to strike him down. There was no trickery or sourcery used here but an willingness to let Ziarch catch an glimpse of the true LoneShadow.

An flare of light emitted from within him. LoneShadow knew that the flare was the Dark Sourcery attempting to protect him automatically but with an will of his mind he turned the defences off as thunder could be heard in the sky. "Ziarch, come strike me down if you must do so" He closed his eyes and let his arms relax at his side as he awaited the attack.</font>

  12. <font color='#348781'>Taydran snarled as the kraken transformed into it's true beast like form. Teeth flashed like lethal daggers as he stepped forward again. He suddenly realized the true intent of LoneShadows rebellion. He was out to kill Zirach, the only 'dragon that he ever trusted. Taydran had put his heart into making this 'dragon proud and wasn't about to let him die at his own paws. With a angery howl Taydran burst forward, thundering down the deck to stand next to Zirach. An angery fire burned within his deep blue orbs as he snarled. Glancing at the elder pendragon, he smiled a confident smile.

We can beat him. I'm with you all the way...Zirach.</font>

  13. <font color='#000000'>Lìnnet watched as the magic was performed by the two master sorcerers. If someone or something didn’t stop them they would kill each other. She also watched as Ziarch dove at LoneShadow.

She was starting to get angry with herself. Was all she do was watch, as the other fought. Was she just going to sit there and watch them fight to keep them all alive. She looked over to where Jarman was tending to the ‘dragon who was hit by the wood. She couldnÂ’t help there, she knew nothing about healing. She was not strong enough to stop the whole storm. But she needed to do something.

She ran over and jumped up and the deck with Taydran and Ziarch. If the ship was going down she was going to go down fighting and she wouldnÂ’t let everyone else to the dirty work.
<span style='color:orange'>“LoneShadow! You said you would protect this ship. I wounldn't call this protecting."</span> She then turned to the other two. <span style='color:orange'>“So am I."</span>

She also held confidence in her voice. She just wondered how long it would last.</font>

  14. <font color='#000080'>Incendi released a small gasp in relief as she wrenched rfee of the magic.  She glared around, gold eyes calm and cold, no longer burning red with rage.  she silently padded forward, her pace calm and collected as she made her way towards the kraken and Lone.  She sat down, head pointed down as her eyes closed.  she chanted quietly, floating a few feet into the air as she continued to weeve her magics.  her memories returned to her homeland, the cold wastes of Druhv, where ice and snow reigned and where fire gave life.  she lifted a paw, turning it palm upwards and opened her eyes to gaze at it.  a raindrop fell into her outstretched hand and it solidified, instantly turning into ice.  she continued to chant softly, never raising her voice as the ice crystal in her hand grew and floated above its surface.  she gave a small smirk as she again closed her eyes, this time directing her magics outward to the sea.  first the ice formed about the ship, and then it went downwards, anchoring the ship in place as the ice spread throughout the waters, covering the surface in solid ice for miles.  She stopped her quiet chanting and looked up, a smirk lifting the corner of her lips.

"My but Winter seems to have hit hard and early in this part of the world..."</font>

  15. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman rolled his eyes at Incendi's words.

He had stopped the bleeding and mended the Piratess's leg. He didn't want to move her, but with the temperature drop, he didn't need her freezing to death. Picking her up, he took her back down to his room, placing her on the other bed.

He checked one last time and judged that she would be fine by herself for awhile. He went and made his way, back on to the deck.</font>

  16. <font color='#810541'>OOC: Sorry if it seems like I'm hogging the urm... 'spotlight'. ^-^ I just got bored of waiting for someone to attack LoneShadow. LoL Ziarch doesn't exactly have what you would called an ocean of patience. You woulkd be exagerating to say he had a puddles worth... *grumbles*

IC: Ziarchs eyes narrowed even further as the Kracken stopped trying to strike him down. He folded his wings in diving at LoneShadow, backwinding the masses of feathers at the last possible moment and grabbing Loneshadows neck with his clawed hand. He used his forward momentum as well as his body weight to push the sorceror to his knees. His hand tightened around the others throat. His claws pressing into the tender skin drawing beads of crimson from its depths.

His voice was low and smooth as silk. His voice was that of an experianced killer. One who had taken numerous lives and had suffered the results of it. He would not, however, hesitate to kill yet again if his instinct told him so.

<span style='color:navy'>"Why dont you resist LoneShadow? Why, after all this give up so easily? I know you could kill me with but a blink of your eyes. I am no magician. I hold no magic. There is no way I should be this close right now. I should be floating in those fridged waters, my eyes cold, and unseeing. So tell me sorceror, why?"</span>

The words spoken, quiet as they were, lingered in the air despite the tormented winds pulling at them. They were clearly heard, even above the howling of the storm. His hand tightened again, just slightly. The crimson beads trickled from LoneShadows throat onto the assassins hands. They were immediatly replaced by more beads, which quickly followed their comrades down the same path staining the silver fur a deep burgendy.</font>

  17. <font color='#348781'>OOC: I hope it's ok that the Kraken does this. He's not exactly mine but I figured since Lone is kinda preoccupied at the moment, the Kraken could go after the others...(And no, I don't mind if ya take the spotlight. [IMG])

Taydran watched as Zirach knocked the rebel sorcerer off of the Kraken. He saw the lethal glint in his friend's eye as he took Lone by the neck. A satisfyed smirk crossed Taydran's maw as he watched the scene unfold. But in that single moment that Taydran let his guard down, the Kraken had turned it's gaze 'pon him.  Taydran turned back to the beast and saw a large tentacle comming straight for him. Azure orbs widened in fear as it came closer and closer with each millesecond. In desperation, Tay bolted for the other side of the ship...but it was too late. The giant appendage came crashing down causing the ship to tilt at a very sharp angle. He tried in vain to grab hold of something as he plummeted to the ice below. His sad life flashed before him as he fell. He heard the shouts of some of his crewmates as well as the fight between Zirach and Lone. With a loud crack, Taydran crashed through the ice sheet and into the tremendously cold water below. He slipped in and out of concensness as he sunk deeper and deeper...</font>

  18. <font color='#0000FF'>LoneShadow ignored the pain of Ziarch's claws around his neck, he was using an secret spell that gave the illusion that he was in pain and produced beliavable blood but he was in face putting up an pain barrier that made sure he would not die by Ziarch's hands. "Ziarch, i have never killed fellow 'dragons in cold blood, i do not intent to start killing people for no reason either, iam LoneShadow leader of an clan, i will only kill in war or revenge but even then i would regret taking an 'dragons life so here is the answer to your question, are you satisfied Ziarch or do you prefer another reason? hhhmmm.?" as he said this he stood up, blood dripping onto the sea "and as for you Incendi, do you realize that you are killing many creatures that live below the sea that are dying at this very instance?" With an sweep of his hand, dark tendrils floated and twisted until they covered the frozen sea, heat poured out of them as they merged with the ice as it began to melt slowly until torrents poured out returning the sea to its proper state.

"you are right Linnet iam the protector of this ship, you wish that you felt all safe and cosy in you bed don't you Linnet, why? are you scared to face dangers and horrers of this world?" His voice carried an hint of mocking as he wrapped his hand around Ziarch's hand that was on his neck, "Ziarch, you wish that your ship was repaired dont you?" with the other free arm he made an sweeping gesture from which tendrils of darkness once again freed themself from him, covering the ship with dark tendrils that wriggled across the ship repairng damages "there you go Ziarch, your ship is repairedhe laughed, it was very ironic to him as the darkness covered the wounded pirate, healing her by taken something of his soul to heal her completely "Ziarch if you wish to kil me then do it nowl " he closed his eyes and waited for an answer.</font>

  19. <font color='#000000'>'Tyran' had been watching all of this... until the Kraken's tenticle struck the ship. His eyes suddenly flashed back to normal. The texts on the cuffs stopped glowing. The fox-sized 'dragon rolled across the deck, but managed to grab hold of something. He could only watch as Taydran fell, and plummeted into the water. His eyes widened in horror.

    Hold on, kid! I'm coming!!!

Without even thinking, he leapt off the ship and glided until he was a safe distance above the hole that Taydran had made - then he folded his wings, took a deep breath, and let himself drop in.

Even though he had never recieved formal swimming lessons, he was taught to swim at an early age by his parents, and had learned some techniques that ensured an extra degree of safety while swimming. Using his wings to push through more quickly, Tyran swam down towards the possibly drowning younger 'dragon as fast as he could. Suddenly, the thought hit him.

You've done it again! You're risking your own life for a nioti's!

    Well, too late!
    </font>

  20. <font color='#348781'>Bubbles emitted at a rapid pace from Taydran's mouth and nose. He was barely paddling now as he struggled to stay alive. Concensness was slipping into his mind as the ocean floor got closer and closer. His deep blue orbs opened ever so slightly to look around. The slits of saphire had a dull glint to them as he shut them once more and fell still. His mind was still alive with thought and confusion.

What's going to happen to me? Am I going to die alone, in this watery grave with no one to die for? I might as well...no one cares anymore.

These thoughts made Taydran sigh. Large bubbles escaped his mouth and he opened his eyes in fear. He had made the worst mistake by opening his mouth under the water. Taydran, with renewed energy, tried to paddle his way to the top once more. He got nowwhere and finally grew dizzy.

    I need...air...

The youth finally fell limp not knowing that rescue was comming...</font>
